I have lived to love, I have loved to live yet deep in my heart I feel an end to this In my deepest depression, my darkest dreams, will grow ever darker as the world does, it seems. I look up above to a dark, starless sky where the moon no more shines and I'm asking myself why Why does the wolf howl when there is no more light? Perhaps he is mourning the perm'nant loss of his sight The sun no more brings warmth and the stars no light and now I must truly see the point to my plight I love no more for me but to bring life to others the small and meek, who can no more stand the shadows I will fight for the right never stray from my path and I know I have friends to help me through that The fox and the owl The finch and the deer And the one I'm to marry when there is no more fear I soar to the sky through the unending night my strong wings will carry me reach the end of my plight I will bring back the day, make endless winter no more Bring those out of hiding who were frightened before In victory I'll stand to make Heaven proud and be sure I'll se my God on His throne in the clouds Fantasy is only a myth if you believe it is.
