“Don’t do it Braydn!!” Allison cautioned, “The waves out there are really big!! I can’t even surf them and I’m better than you!” Braydn climbed out of the boat carefully, setting his board on top of the water then climbing on top of it.
“Chill Allison I’m doing this on a dare remember!! Maria dared me and if I don’t do this she will tell all of my friends that I’m a chicken!” Braydn paddled away from the boat, leaving Allison. Suddenly, a wave crashed over him drenching him. He spat the salty water out. Before another swell came over him, he stood up. The boat was out of sight. He heard thunder in the distance. A tower of water swept him off of his board and he realized that his board had broken in half. “Great” he groaned. Braydn began swimming back to the boat. The water was freezing below him. Then with no warning it was comfortably warm with a ring of bubbles. The water below him disappeared and he fell into darkness.
Braydn awoke with a jolt of electricity. He was in an undersea cave. He stood to find that his legs felt like jelly he collapsed to the stony floor. Instinctively he used his elbows to pull himself to the water. Swimming was easier he looked down, he did not have legs at all, and instead he had a shark tail.
“Whoa” was all he could manage. He moved one of his fins and was jolted to the left. Braydn dived and had a weird feeling come over him. His teeth became razors and he began to breath. His hand flew up to cup his throat but he could not reach. How odd this was. Oddly he was not shocked instead he swam as fast as he could, back to his Allison.
