Well, it actually isn't child labor since I'm 18 now xP But yesterday my Dad made me pull weeds that were infesting our backyard, saying that I needed to earn my keep around here. I have a job now, don't I?!
Anywho, at first my dad told me to dig up the roots by using a screwdriver. That ended horribly. The roots were worse than we thought because one weed had like hundreds of roots attached to it. So, once dad got home, we went around the whole backyard, digging them up with a shovel. Now our yard is a mess sweatdrop
This work would've been impossible for Lena. Why? Not because she's not capable of doing such tasks, but because all the digging and pulling weeds came with a lot of spiders and pincher bugs. There was even one moment where dad told me to go move a pot that held the same weed in it, and when I went over to move it there was this giant jumping spider on it. Even I just stood there pointing at it complaining to my dad how huge it was. Until he came over and whacked it with the shovel....
