what are you supposed to do,
when given the opportunity of a lifetime?
do you turn it down, in fear of what may happen in the future,
or do you accept it, after waiting so long?
if you take it, then you can live the life you always wanted,
but constantly live in fear of screwing up, failing.
if you dont, then you can live without the fear,
but you will be miserable every waking moment afterwords.
having been broken and shattered,
at the ultimate choice of your life,
too afraid to choose one, for the effect of the other,
you stand there, procrastinating, unsure of what to do.
and as the world around you progresses onward,
your frozen in place.
and you slowly rot, standing in that one place,
and eventually fade away from existence.
