My most recent, completed musical production at CMTSJ (Children's Musical Theater, San Jose) was Willy Wonka, Jr. It was my 5th show, and that was also the play where I got the part of a named character! I played Matilda (Charlie's Friend) and the Moompa-Oompa (Specialty Oopma) and I was in the GOBSTOPPERS CAST. I was so excited! When it came to the week before the shows, we had rehearsals at the Montgomery Theater, where we would be preforming. We did mic check and all that stuff. A weird thing was that I got nervous at mic check, but not during the show. I guess because when you test your mic, everyone is watching you, but at the show not everyone is watching you. I wish that we could have done more of Willy Wonka, Jr because it was so much fun! But now, I am in the production of HONK! which is the story of the Ugly Duckling. I am playing the role Downy (Ugly's sibling) and a Froglet. Froglets were only appearing in 'Warts and All'. Then I think that after that song, we willchange back to our Duckling costume. We just started rehearsals two weeks ago on Wedensday. I will keep you updated on HONK!
