Metal Liz Russell
Her eyes lay staring, Wishing for salvation. Tears roll down once-round Cheeks A smart slap to the face Again. Again. She is now on the floor Eyes close, seeking hope, Peace. Sweat clings to her face Pain comes again Bruises appear Now too many to count Her mind is a blur Red begins to pour from His Hands. He walks out Not Forgetting a final Punch. Tears stream down She contains her pain She reaches for her Only Escape her Pale white skin Glows against the dimly Lit Room A single light hangs The metal is Cool in her hands A sickening half-hearted smile Crosses her Face She strokes the silver Her breathing becomes faster Her ever beating pulse Hightens She feels his prescence Metal is shoved into pocket He glares She Hides Her pain excelerates Another strike She tries to stand She is beat down Another Pain in her life Nobody cares There is no shoulder to cry on He goes back to his dwelling She can't escape Physically She thinks of life before She strokes the Cold Metal She presses it to her flesh Warm The pain is different Relieving It cuts in deeper Red Spills on the floor Staing red her Skin Her breathing slows Hightens Fluxuates A sickening smile crosses her Face The pulse stops Warth Disperses Her body lies Cold On the cement The single bulb swings Catches a final glimpse of her Final Moments Her smile remains Her hair Scattered It flickers . . . .and is gone. Darkness emerses All
