I woke up, and then I was a freshman. |

School started for me about....3 weeks ago. And being a freshman doesn't seem so bad, aside from the smack talk you get in myspace and all those sites, and being underestimated (I think).
Well, it's been easier for me since I've got a Junior as an older brother, which means I get to hang out with older people. Yeah! XD But that doesn't mean I'll just start to hang out with them forever, I mean, I've still got some freshman friends, too. And I don't want to leave them hanging behind.
So, anyways, being a freshman actually is great, getting used to a new, better environment instead of old, junior high-type schools, we're movin' on up! The only thing I thought of being worried about was getting lost in my new school, because it was bigger than my junior high. But I've got some experienced Sophomore and Junior friends to show me around. And I wasn't late! or went to the wrong class in the first day! WooHoo!!!!
Homework's also pretty easy, I'm not sure it's only because we've only been exposed to it for 3 weeks, or because of all those "You're a freshman, what kind of homework do you have?" freshman homework underestimating rumors. Either way, I think it's pretty easy. Except for my Math class, I've got every homework for my other classes done except for Math. Here are my few (But actual) reasons:
Quote: I forgot my notebook at home....Seriously, I've gotten done around halfway of my homework only to realize I didn't put it in my backpack. Every person's excuse: I forgot. You see I underlined it and bolded it to show you how overused it is. Which is why it isn't fair to the people who actually forgot it, instead of the ones who just "didn't" do it. rolleyes
Well, anyways, I've been making friends with some of my older brother's friends. They're pretty tight, not the type of cocky "I'm older than you, foo'! Back up!" people. I think like I've over exaggerated that statement....they also have gotten me into bboying. No, not learning to dance like a bboy, but getting interested about it. Which reminds me, Super Cr3w FTW!!! I actually was rooting for SoReal before, but after Super Cr3w repped, I couldn't help but root for the Sin City Bboys. If any of you don't know what bboying means, the definition can be found in here.
I also plan on trying out for the boys JV tennis team somewhere around November. I'm pretty sure you need to be in at least one sport to go to College, I've heard that somewhere before, so I'm doing it, plus I like tennis biggrin .
It's going to be a great year....
