One of my favorite things to do is watch changes. I'm a very nostalgic person, and I love the phrase, "Remember when...?" Though it's no fun to go through changes most of the time, it's nice to look back and see how different things are.
One of the most fun changes to think about are friendships. It's so nice to remember how you first met the person...they were only a stranger then, but suddenly, now you're good friends, maybe even best friends, and you can't imagine life without them.
But the saddest thing is to watch a good friendship die. To remember the time when they were strangers, then to remember the time when they were such good friends...and then to see that now they are mortal enemies.
