This is a story I'm making called Hawk Eye about a kid trying to find his way in life

Chapter 1:

"Blindness it should be one of the 7 deadliest sins"thought Hawk as he walked through the empty-streeted village.Fearful eyes shone through the grimey dusty windows.He stopped walking and faced one of houses it seemed empty.Hawk knocked on the door a couple times then grabbed the door knob"Aiiyahh!!!"a fierce war cry rang through the air as a girl jumped him from behind and yanked on his unkept hair and ripped the tattered blindfold from his eyes and they were shrouded in a mist.Hawk yelped and jumped back from the girl covering his face with his shirt.The girl gasped staring at his uncovered forehead"Your mage marked!"Hawk fumbled for his dagger and when he found it he swung it wildly"Leave me alone!"he pleaded.Then his arm holding the dagger dropped limply to his side and let his shirt drop from his face.
