L.A. California.
What a wonderfully dirty city.
During the day,
A green-brown fog hovers over and under
Peoples’ noses.
At night,
A golden glow of light reflects off of
The constant bubble of smog.
This is home to me.
I have never fully seen the stars.
I never understood why.
That is, until my boyfriend
Took me to he desert to see
The silvery moon and the stars
They were beautiful!
No human could ever posses their beauty.
A sudden chill ran up my spine,
And breaks out of my body
In a haunting scream
That made the stars quiver in fear.
I look down at my limp body,
Lying in the silver desert sand.
My boyfriend was crying over my body.
I now realize why I was never allowed
To see the stars.
I was their child.
Born of immortal god and mortal.
My mortal mother tried to keep
Me from going to my true home.
With my father, Apollo,
And with the stars,
The first stars I saw this night.

The Adept
i've walk the paths; the shadowed roadsthat led to terror's breast. i've plumbed the depths of hatred's womb and scaled destructions crest.
For every secret, left unveild, for everypower learned, i'ld sell the remnants of my soul regardless how it burned. And still i sought a higher power few could have atained. though i found it, it would leave me-broken, damned and drained.
For now i found this power gained more into a curse, my spirit burns with every spell and each irreverant verse. Despite this strength and knoledge earned, i have paid a hevy toll, i never should've traded power for my own immortal soul.
