Curtians opens. Stage appears. The sun shine thru the sheer over lapping the windows beems a unwanted wake up scream. Alast, I've woke. It was perhaps moments before the sun stood at the highest point, none the less, I wanted sleep. I gathered my pillows together in a orderly fashion, pilling them up and make it confortable to lay against. To my left lay the reliable gateway, from which I spend all my time trapped in the palace doing. The gateway: An enchanted item made by the best Magical beings. It is a portal, so to say, into other worlds. No phyical connection thru this could ever be so, but my means of communication both verbal and visual is used. The palace is nothing grand in conparison to the Kings and Queens of other lands. Simple, yes. Beautiful, to some. I can neverfind this place to be beautiful, not when I binds me, not when memories lay in the dark untraveled corners. However, maybe the only rainbow that shines are the two childern. Little Lady Katherine, and her brother three years her senior Sir Austin. A interesting bunch these two are, born of the ruler of this land. Dutchess Dian, first appearance may be that she is a beautiful woman in her early middle ages, very kind and sweet to all. Once you seen into her reflection however, a tyrant appears. By her side is her b*****d, Duke Benidik. Duke Benidik followed every command given by his wife, and than some. Most people say he is the perfect man for her. He is smart and beautiful, but I think he is under a trance. Those two don't matter at he moment, they have managed to leave the castle. The Dutchess returns later when the sun sets, and the Duke returns in a some odd 14 nightfalls. No, I am here with the sparkels (in referance to the same childern) and a new guard. This is seemed unfarmilar to me, I stayed inside my quarters amusing myself with the gateway. As time stretched on I heard a loud rumble coming from outside of my window. It was that of a merchant, offering his assistance in a water problem. The guard was unsure of the situtation and summoned backup. Although part of me wishes she hadn't called them and part enjoys it. She summoned the King Augustus and Queen Isabella. The King and Queen bore the Dutchess Dian, Duke Stephan, and my distasteful father Duke Luther. I hear the over powering vocie of the King and a softer more concerned Queen. I slowly dismantel the gateway, and try to make myself look desent. Walk down the coridor and find the Queen with a broom. The Queen has a broom, does anyone else find this odd. I carry on. I explain to her that I am leaving this horrid place in search of food. She smiles lowering her light brown eyes to look at me. Her short colored dirty blonde hair try to get in the way of her eyes, followed by a slow shake into place. I walk out in the stables to get my steed and came across the king. The king stood with his secret garden speator in his right hand. The sun sun gleemed off of his tanned skin and lighten his bolding curly dark brown hair. He stardly greeted as he always does, follow by some sort of comment that would in the end be little my exsistance. I ended that greeting as soon as I could. I pressed on. Just outside lay my steed. He is a beauty. Blaze, my every trusty steed. He is well build, strong, and faithful. He has amazing white grey eyes that seem to night up the night, and his fur and a lovely red that would melt the very ground he stood if wanted. I strode off, coming across the palace of the King and Queen. Than I realized, I would take to enrich my skin with a warm bath. The water at our palace had been disfunctionable and became hard to tae need baths. We strolled into their stable and unpacted my things from Balze as he sat there wanting a quick return. I had to play a quick game of hide and go find the key to unlock the enterance door, but soon after I made my way to the indoor bathing spring. I quickly washed up. I began to dry off as I heard the Queen call my name. "Jocelyn" she cried out. "Are you washing up?" "I just got thru." I responded. "I am going into the horrid market place to get food for the King and that silly merchant. Would you like something my dear?" "Yes your magesty" "Alright, finish up and will me speak about this." I dress quicky and approcable. I walk into the main throne room, a comfortable place for any in need of comfort. She stood there appearing to look at some papers set before her. I glided by her side. "What can I get for you dear?" She said. I thought for a moment and answered, "Poltry please, and in addition I would like a diet bubble water with that." She took out a yellow scroll and wrote my answer, and she began ranting on about what the others wanted. I listened as would any grandchild would. I than remembered that I needed to run to the market myself, I had to deposite my gold into the care of our bankers. I told this to the queen and she understood. The market place is full of crude men and kind ones. As I made my way back to Blaze, I heard from the distance a group of young men loudly talk about how nice my rear is. I let this side, I merely look back as they rode away and waved with a disaproving grin. One seemed to see my actions and relayed it onward. I return to Dutchess's palace and shortly find the Queen entering the gates. We gather around a round table and begin to feast. The king starts to try to speak to me, I try to ignore it. But being kind I enage in conversation. As I knew, he began belittling. "Jocelyn, when you are done with you school, you can became a merchant" he said, unknowing to take it as a joke.. "I don't think she can be, she would mess up your pretty nails" said the queen, showing recinition of my improvement of not biting my nails. "What do you think?" he said trying to convice me that persueing a dream of art will get me no where in life. I shugged. "You should have learned spanish instead of Sign. You will get no where with sign. Everyone wants someone that can speak two languages." Now I'm getting irriated. Now I just want to get up and leave my food upon the table and lock myself away till he departs. However, I forced myself to stay. "I had helped a lost man who could not hear find his way. I was the only one who could amoung the people around me. And if I ever needed spanish, I could grab anyone near me to translate." "There is one man who translates and makes ten gold an hour!" says the Queen. I didn't care, and I don't care. The noon meal continued like such and I left as soon as I could to retreat to my gateway. I accessed the world of 'Gaia'. A bright and vivid world full of interesting creatures. One of which is of my interest. It is a Fairy. I can be confusing to tell wether it is male or female, however this doesn't bother me. I begin to communitcate with it and it's friends. We discuss things of 'bump' and fun things that would make the bridge gnome giggle. My Fairy, its name is Tinkerbell. Everyone calls it Tink for short. Tink is a very beautful creature, it has remarkable light green wings and medium brown hair that comes down to it's sholders. It's eyes are full of emotion, one sad look from it could make anyone find them self in tears for this fairy. The thing I love most is it's soul, it rediates such a feeling that when it touchs my skin I feel like I've passed time and space completely. As I spoke to it my aqua blue crystal sang, i lifted and stroke a finger along the glossy side and I heard the vocie of my Bear. Bear is what we call him. He is a large brown bears that lives in the forest near Tink. Bear however odd it sounds is very kind and my dearest friend. He calls in concern of my well being. Since my last several months, my dream was to be burned at the stake to get rid of being in the human infested world. Bear helped me so very much, and I love him more than I loved another friend. Despite his dreams of me loving him in other ways than just friends, I don't plan on changing that. We had a quick chat, but I was so distracted by tink, the conversation didn't last long. I later explained to Bear about a horrid human whom I found out betrayed me. Being Bear, he would want to stand up for me. Bear is a physical fighter, however I play mind wars. What I am prepared to do will put me at instant vicory and leave my opponite laying on the ground in misery by a simple mind bomb. Bear wants me to be evil, being that it is hard to bring myself to such things, so he supported me even though I wanted him to tell me no. Nightfall was maybe 4 hours away and the king and queen invite me to dinner. In respect I except. We took their carrage to a nice dinner made in honor of them. Other who came where that of Duke Stephan and his sweet wife Dutchess Kristien and their darling sun shines the one year old Sir bradson and the cutest Little Lady Marie. With those little sunshine flaked were the other small children Sir Austin and Lady Katherine. Both Lady Marie and Katherine are of the same age, 4, and they get along remarkably well. I found myself watching over the young ones as the elders ate and chat. It wasn't so bad. Sir bradson kept me assumed by climbing up everything he possibly could and tried to climb things that he couldn't. Afterward we loaded the Dutchess Dian's cariage full of all the sparkels expect Sir Bradson, he went with his parents. I went up front beside the Dutchess being the oldest of the Ladys and Lords. We road back to the palace, my prison. But on the way a odd tossing of words filled he air as me and the sparkels spoke. "Katherine, your a coco head!" said marie. "Oh yeah! You're a silly butt!" contered Katherine. And this went on for a short while before I had to interject. "Oh yeah! All of you are pumkins!" a moment after I said this was dead silence followed by a roar of laugher from all the sparkels. Sir Austin even starting putting name inputs in. I got deemed a skeleton. But my respond to every statement was simply 'pumkin' and it was always followed by giggles. We returned home and I ran off to assemble my gateway. And here I sit still, this excape from the real world, and yet I feel so lonely.
