Well, a couple of weeks ago, I went to my back doctor and apparently he didn't really explain to us what was really going on last time so my mom asked and apparently I have 'degenerative(sp?) disk disease' and some arthritis in my back. He doesn't think that he should do surgery cuz he doesn't do this kind of surgery, so, I'm going to another doctor at the end of July to see what my options are.
What my mom thinks my options are, are that I might need a brace, do nothing, or get surgery but my mom doesn't really want me to have surgery yet because this surgery would be that they would stick a rod in my spine to keep it straight or something and there are a few risks. There could be that I could be paralyzed if not done right, or it could go completely wrong, or it doesn't help at all, and since I'm still growing, she thinks I should maybe wait, but we're not sure what to do, so, thats's why we're going to see the doctor.
