Chapter 11. Kissed by an Angel. (Ben's veiw.)
"Rose..." I whispered, after we killed Henry and Tessa.
I picked her up and held her close.
She smelt so good, I just bite her...No!
You have to save her!
"Alishia, quickly grab Henry's knife!"
"Right!" My sister said and quickly obeyed.
She grabbed Henry's pocket knife from his dead hand.
Then she handed the knife to me.
I dug the knife into Rose's hand to get the poision out easier.
I layed the knife down and I quickly grabbed Rose's knife wound.
I started to suck the poisioned blood out.
It was so good.
No! I have to stop.
My lips trembled making some blood drip out.
I don't taste anymore poision.
I slowly stoped and laid her hand down.
Her body just laid lifeless on the ground.
I felt tears.
They ran down my face.
"Alli, Your hero is a memory..."
I said softly.
Her face fell.
"We lost Max...and now Rose."
I stroked Rose's arm.
It was cold, unmoving, dead.
I shook the word out of my head.
Suddenly I heard a soft bark.
"Max!" I cried as I saw the loveable mutt running towards us.
He leaped into my arms and licked my face.
"Yuck!" I said and wiped the slober off.
He moved from me to Alli, then when he saw Rose, his tail wagged.
He sniffed her body, his tail hung down, his head was bowed and he backed away slowly, and whimpered.
He looked at me.
"I know boy...I know." I chocked on tears.
He came to me, I kneeled and he laid his head on my shoulders.
Alli watched and tried to wipe her tears away.
"Max, you can stay with us...if you want." I offered when he turned to leave.
His ears went up and barked.
"Okay, Max let's go home!" Alli said and led the way.
"Aren't you coming?" She asked when she noticed I wasn't following.
"I'll be a minute."
She understood and jogged off to the house.
"Rose." I said and laid my hand on her heart.
Her heart beat was silent.
I couldn't help it.
I leaned in and slowly brushed my lips against hers.
They were cold.
I just wanted to know what it would feel like to kiss her.
I softly kissed her cold lips.
I leaned back out and whispered, "I'll always love you."
As I wiped the blood off her lips with my thumb, then my own.
My tears streamed down my cheeks as I got up.
I felt Something kiss me, but no one was there.
No, Rose was there.
Her spirit kissed me.
I've been kissed by an angel.
