Before the 1949 Communist take over of China, the cultural traditions of China was believed to be divinely inspired. Over the years and decades, and especially during the Cultural Revolution, the Chinese Communist Party has steadily eroded true Chinese divinely inspired culture. A new renaissance of traditional Chinese culture is now being revitalized and can be seen through the international tour of the performing arts group the "Divine Performing Arts". They are on tour now and will be in New York for the Chinese New Year Splendor. The show showcases the 5,000 years of ancient and modern Chinese culture. The Chinese New Year Splendor, which will be in New York for the Chinese New Year, will be held on January 30 to February 9. Audiences are introduced to authentic, traditional Chinese culture with beautiful music and superb dance skills. The Divine Performing Arts troupe will continue their world-class show around the world.
