I think I must be a glutton for punishment. Not only am I working next Tues when I could have it off but I'm working Christmas night/day after. It all started when the assistant asked me if I wanted to work Tues so me being me asked why. He says well some of the suits and ties are coming in for a holiday visit. He knows that pisses me off because they act like they give a s**t but really they don't. Plus they never see N/C so in all reality, they still don't give a s**t. So he says well the grocery dept has to look really nice and I'm thinking well they're not going to personally thank me for doing my job but it's extra money so I'll do it.
Then the Christmas night thing happened because our company is strange because it stays open nearly all year, nearly everyday open except Christmas but the store manager wants people to watch the coolers so they don't go down and keep the fire going in the bakery dept. The last 2 years I worked Christmas because it's boring for me living by myself. This year it's a little different because I have a nephew now who I want to see. His name's Cooper A. Moffatt and he's 6 months old now. Plus I brought him some Dr. Seuss books and it was funny watching him play with the first one I got him. He kept turning it over, got it open several times and wanted to stick it in his mouth. So if everything works out, I'll see him around Christmas time, get some pics taken. Hopefully my brother kept him away from any Santas in the mall. For some reason Santas scare the hell out of babies so better just to keep him away from there.
So I'll be working extra days and I'm pretty sure I'll be working New Year's Eve as well. Honestly I would just hope for that night off because I worked Thanksgiving night and now Christmas but oh well, at least I'll get a raise in Jan. More money means more books and manga later smile
Oh, still in the midst of playing .Hack//Rebirth, just started in the arena so I'll max that out at some point LOL I still want Atoli!!
