Dubs vs. Subs
So I was in GaiaVJ last night looking around since I haven't messed with it much yet....and oh god, the dubbing. The horrible, horrible dubbing. crying All they had in the most viewed was English dubs: Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, etc. It was awful. I saw the Sailor Moon SuperS Movie in the list and went in to watch, since I haven't seen it in years...and once it started I was scrambling for the close button because the dubbing was so terrible. Usagi (Sereeeena) sounds like a retard and Rini sounds way too old for her character mad ...and that was as far as I got (about 20 seconds after the opening song XD)! I HATE the English voice for Usagi and I always have. WHY don't people watch subs instead of dubs?! They're usually much better quality, and the voice-acting is a hundred million times better. Yes, there are bad subs out there but if you get a hold of good ones, it greatly improves the viewing experience, and hey, you might actually learn some Japanese ya damned otaku. BELIEVE IT! stressed Dubs have gotten a lot better over the past few years I suppose, for example the Bleach dub isn't TOO bad, but I think dubbing loses some of the quality of the message; lost in translation, as it were. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't be a noob and LEARN TO WATCH SUBS PLZ heart
