“She doesn’t have a wand-?” “Right.” “But she is a mage?” “Right.” “But that’s not right. Can’t she pretend, at least for a little while?” “Don’t give her a wand.” “Why not?” “They focus magic power.” “So?” “Imagine focusing a laser beam.”
“The demons got loose, the bomb’s about to go off, the world’s going to end in ... give or take five minutes. s**t, I’m so getting fired for this.”
“When I’m around you there is one less mask I have to wear and I wish that you could take the others away and still call me beautiful.”
“Open your eyes and see what the hell is right in front of you.”
“You laugh at me because I’m different but, you see, I laugh at you because you’re all the same.”
“One soul lost another is found.”
“If you don’t like my driving, get off of the sidewalk.”
“It’s best to be heartless, than heartbroken.”
“My mind is like a cycle, really. In my mind is a darkness. My darkness is my pleasure. My pleasure is my pain. My pain is my angst. My angst is my love. My love is my secret, and my secret is my darkness.”
“If you run, they will out run you. If you hide, they will find you. But if you fight, they will loose.”
“You know what I’m getting you for your birthday? A grenade. Without the pin.”
“I would rather die in your arms than live another day without you in mine.” ~ Kent Star
She pulled out the knife in stomach. “What? You think this hurts? I’ve had menstrual cramps worse than this, fool.”
“There’s some good left in this world and it’s worth fighting for.”
“Evil thy name is morning.”
“If he breaks your heart I won’t be there for you to lean on because I’ll be in prison because I killed the a*****e who hurt you.”
“Shouldn’t we make a plan?” “A Plan? What’s the point? You’ll just abandon it one minute in.” “How are you so sure?” “Because there is an army of half dead warriors outside of this bunker and I don’t think they’ll cooperate with your plan.”
“Don’t touch me, I’m covered in blood and none of it’s mine.”
“Hey! How many times have I asked you not to blow trees up while I’m standing underneath them?” “How many times have I asked you not to stand underneath trees while I’m blowing them up?”
“Hang on, I don’t think I’m drunk enough to understand that yet.”
“By becoming a monster, one learns what it is to be human.”
“Why settle with words with what you can accomplish with a flamethrower?”
“I used to think that I was perfectly normal. Until I found out that normal eight-year-olds can’t make fireballs with their bare hands.”
“Courage is not always a grand bravado, but sometimes it is a whispered voice at the end of the day proclaiming ‘I’ll try again tomorrow’.”
“Stupidity got us into this mess, why can’t it get us out?”
“Oh, so you want to play games with me, is that it? Well, let me warn you now, you will always loose.”
“I’m afraid, afraid after all those years of crying, all my tears have been used, and I’ve forgotten how to cry.”
“I’ve paid for my sins more than once, but somehow that isn’t enough.”
“It’s only after the rain that the sun comes out.”
“Okay, first of all you’re a b***h, second of all, yes, you burned me but unlike you I can take the heat.”
“No, I don’t need anger management and I would never hurt a fly. How dare you accuse me of such a thing! Now shut up or else I’ll stick this grenade down your throat.”
“Don’t like your destiny? Don’t run from it. Destiny has a nasty habit of keeping pace if you try to run.”
“Just close your eyes, and imagine Winnie the Pooh robbing a bank.”
“If evil can love, is it really evil, or is it a distraught goodness?”
“I’ve got to stop going out on dates. I can’t afford to break anymore bones.”
“It’s like giving a six pack of Mountain Dew to a ADHD ten-year-old and setting them loose in a china shop with a BB gun. You know it’s wrong. You know people are going to get hurt, but, damn, if it’s not fun to watch.”
“Don’t dwell on what people think you are, but live on what you know you are.”
“Are you here to help me, or just be a pain in my a**?”
“Take two of these and call me in the morning!”
“Ever remember playing hide-and-go-seek in the dark? Sometimes I do. Remember those nights in your house with your other little friends, all around the age of six, when you’d dare each other to go down into the basement. Alone. With no lights. For twenty minutes? Bah! Twenty minutes? Who the heck are they kidding? You could do that, no problem. So you’d walk down there, into that basement…alone. In the dark. And you’d sit on the bottom step and shiver. You could feel it. That slow, steady beat of darkness. Like it was alive or something. Little kids feel it the most. Darkness is scary s**t when you’re young. Don’t know why, but it was just this ‘sense’. The hairs on the back of your neck would stand up; your eyes would dilate to the point where there is no iris. The darkness. It held bad things. But then, hey, what do you know? Time’s up, time to go back upstairs. To the light. To the friends. To the sights and sounds. And most of all, you’d go upstairs - away from the darkness. And as you got older, the fear of the pitch in the basement slowly ebbed away. The fear, it grew quiet. In your heart, your soul, you still felt terror sometimes, but it was very slight. Oh, so very slight. In fact, once you hit the teens, you probably savored darkness. It held so much mystery, so much… adventure. So much allure. What’s in the darkness? You’d like to find out. You’d love to. See, that’s not me. When you were little and you came back up those stairs into the light, I was still in the basement. In the darkness. Alone. And if I get this right, I’ve been there for about ten years now. Ten long painful years where I’ve learned of the things that it holds.”
“There’s always a way, and it usually doesn’t work.”
“Professionals are predictable, it’s the amateurs that are dangerous.”
“A ‘sucking chest wound’ is nature’s way of telling you to slow down.”
“Anything you do can get you killed, including nothing.”
“My broken heart’s been shattered one too many times. Look all you want, there’s nothing left to break.”
“You are the phoenix nexus. The phoenix is a symbol of death and rebirth. It is consumed by flame and then reborn from its ashes. It is also a symbol of a sacrifice as it does this to save us. When the phoenix dies it does two things that helps us. It releases ancient magic that we can use and by being reborn it’s own healing magic is renewed.”
“When God created the universe he first said ‘Let there be light.’ The light came and it illuminated the darkness and so for one day, the first day there was nothing but the light and the darkness. They clashed and so the great war began. God created a world, with land and water and life for which this war would be fought on. He created many other worlds too and the war permeated it all. It dwells within each living thing whether it is aware of it or not. And the war must be fought, there is no other choice. And it will never stop, it will always keep going and all we can do is maintain the delicate balance that allows what little precious life we have to grow. And apparently in this upcoming battle within the eternal war between good and evil I will lead a great army. But no one ever told me which side I was supposed to be on.”
“The fact that you think I’m normal makes you weird.”
“We have one chance to do this but a lifetime to remember it.”
“You’re lying!” “No, actually I’m sitting.”
“I am not evil, just morally challenged.”
“It’s always in the last place you look.” “Of course it is! I’m not going to keep looking for it after I found it!”
“So, Kit what are you here for today?” “Well, I’m working with highly explosives compounds to achieve a neutral vector or find weak locality in a obstruction in the current pathway.” “Uh.” “I like things that go boom.”
“The strong man who does nothing is not strong, it is the weak person who tries no matter what that is truly the strongest. Keep fighting.”
“Fall down seven times; stand up eight.”
“They say ‘Guns don’t kill people, People kill people’ but I am sure having a gun helps. I don’t imagine going around shouting ‘bang’ will hurt too many people.”

“Some days, we are not so strong.” “No kidding, as you can see, I’m not exactly feeling at my strongest right now.” “But that doesn’t make us weak. Remember that tomorrow.”
“People’s whole lives do pass right in front of their eyes before they die. The process is called ‘living’.” ~ Death
“I swear to drunk I’m not God.”
“Oh, you’ve done it now,” said Sam. “What?!” asked Leon. “You’ve upset her.” “I didn’t do anything!” “Yes, you did. You made her remember.” “What?” “You made her remember that she’s human. That underneath that armor she tries so hard to wear, underneath all the denial, a heart beats. And it beats for you.” “What?” “Sometimes, I really think that you have the intelligence of a rat, Leon. She. Is. In. Love. With. You.” “No way! AWESOME!” “God I hate you.”
“I can’t do this alone.” “Are you really that stupid?” “What?” “I’ll be here, always. You’ll never have to be alone.”
“I truly believed if he had a gun he would of pulled it on me.”
