Firstly, I must adress the fact that my legs are POUNDING!! Tennis season officially started as of last night. Our team has been reduced from 21 last year, to 15 this year and back down to 11. We have a new coach who seems VERY promising. He's very funny, all around good guy and he's not competitve as in "oh we gotta win" all the time. He's more into us learning the proper way of playing. And our practices are chaos! They're only two hours, but at least half is devoted to running, my lungs are killing me! )) I have asthma for those of you who don't know (( But, it's spread out. Run 2 laps, practice forehand, run again, practice back. So that's good, you get time to catch your breath and it's not all just running laps. We run 2 at first, then you run backward up one end, side step then other, the sprint the third. Then we play Corners. It's when you place four rackets at each end of one side of the court, then you place an additional in the middle w/ four balls. you then must race to the middle and pick up a ball a run it into a corner racket and go back and repeat until you fill all rackets. then the girl behind you must do the oppisite, collect them back into the center.
