PART II
Baki
Baki is a jounin level shinobi from the Hidden Sand Village. He's the sensei of Gaara, Kankuro and Temari. Not much is known about him. Except for the fact that he has more up his sleeve then just the chuunin exam. He retreats from the fight with Genma together with Kabuto after the failed invasion on Konoha.
He's also the one who should be held responsible for the death of Hayate.
Demon Brothers
They're chuinin-level missing ninn's from the Hidden Mist Village. Under the command of Zabuza, another missing nin from that village. As hired assassins, they will fight for whatever cause they have been hired for. Ruthless and fearless, they lack everything what it takes to become great shinobi's. The only time they appear in Naruto, is as assassins hired by Gatou to kill the bridge builder, Tazuna. Their assassination attempt is easily countered by Kakashi and Sasuke.
Using the chains from the claws on their hands, they try to wrap around their opponent and shred him/her to pieces.
DOSU, Kinuta
Unofficial leader in the team consisting of himself, Zaku Abumi, and Kin Tsuchi, Dosu is the strongest and most intelligent of the only team from Sound Village to enter the Chuunin exams.
Dosu is a proud and calculating character, and is very quick to analyse new situations. His attacks include use of his Melody Arm, a device used to amplify and control the sound waves emitted from it to attack his opponents ears. If he manages to damage the ear drums of his opponent, his enemy will become unbalanced until he/she recovers.
Dosu also has a sort of comradeship with his teammates, and vowed to avenge Zaku's loss of his match and arms in the finals.
Ebisu
Ebisu is a tutor to Konohamaru, and claims to be a "shortcut" to becoming Hokage. He held the common attitude towards Naruto as a demon punk, and looked down on him during their first encounter. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on one's point of view,) he lost to Naruto quite dramatically when Naruto unleashed his Harem no Jutsu on him.
Later on, he tutored Naruto, and his opinion of Naruto changed for the better when he realized that Naruto was a better teacher to Konohamaru than he was, which led him to acknowledge Naruto as a good ninja. After being knocked unconcious by Jiraiya at the women's bath, he went back to teaching Konohamaru.
Gaara of the Desert
Born as an experiment from the Hidden Village of Sand, Gaara was combined with the spirit of a demonic sand priest known as Shukaku, not unlike Naruto and the Nine Tails. Gaara grew up without knowing love. For a long time he tought being spoiled equals love, but when he met Rock Lee that opinion changed.
Unfortunately, Gaara became unstable around the age of six years. Consequently, his father, Kazakage, ordered numerous assassination attempts upon him, all failing miserably. This betrayal caused Gaara to become hateful and deeply suspicious of everyone, including his siblings, who he regarded as "lumps of meat linked together by hatred and murderous intent."

Gatou
Gatou was a very important ship magnate before he got killed by Zabuza. His shipping company was merely a facade for illegal activities like smuggling and dealing drugs.
He hired Zabuza and his team, so that they would prevent Tazuna from finishing the bridge. Making sure that the Wave Country didn't had any contacts with the other countries. Leaving the country in the hands of Gatou to control and rule it. He was a very ruthless man who wanted to accomplish his goal by all means necessary, even if that meant killing innocent villagers.
GEKKOU, Hayate
Hayate is one of Konoha's Special Jounins. He's also the one who was judging the Chuunin exam's third stage preliminary matches. He is said to be one of the most talented shinobi of the leaf, but his (apparantly)chronic sickness seems to have made him weak. He has bags under his eyes and doesn't look healthy at all.
When he was accidentaly eavesdropping on Baki and Kabuto, he found out about the secretly made treaty between the Hidden Sand & Sound Village, and the plan to attack the Leaf Village. He is then noticed by Kabuto and gets into a fight with Baki. Altough Baki praises Hayate for his skills at such a young age, his Dance of the Crescent moon is easily countered. And Hayate is killed, giving his life for the Leaf.
HAGANE, Kotetsu
He and his friend, Izumo, held their own unofficial first test at the beginning of the chuunin exam. They used genjutsu to swith the room numbers and trick the candidates for the exam. He always makes some small appearances in Naruto, but isn't concidered an important character.
