I Buried My Friend Today

I buried my friend today
My soul burns red with pain
No longer will I touch his face
Or caress his skin again

I buried my friend today
God, what have I done wrong
To have him stolen from my arms
When my faith in you was strong

I buried my friend today
Like him there is no other
I can't walk this path alone
Every breath is a struggle

I buried my friend today
I saw his eyes were blank
I didnt want it to be him
As my heart slowley sank

I buried my freind today
A loss by suicide
I saw his just moments before
He chose to take his life

I buried my friend today
There was nothing i could do
I should have helped him out
But I couldnt find the clues

I buried my friend today
I saw him hanging there
I whispered the name Caleb
And ran my fingers through his hair

I buried my friend today
And all i've done is cry
As I fear my new feeling
The wanting of suicide

Wow...I honestly don't know what to say, it seems like your friend Caleb and you were close. Ending yourself will only put the people around you in more pain then they may may already be in.

Don't. That's the worst thing you could do. If you and him were really that close, then all I can say is this: He wouldn't want you to do it. I know you don't want to do it. and if you really and truly do, allow me to ask you this one question: Do you want others to feel the pain that you are feeling? Do you want to give others the pain that you are feeling?
Nothing will bring him back, but killing yourself will not solve anything. Because in that moment, just before you die, and Caleb will say the same thing: You will feel regret. You will regret everything that has been done.
I know that just before he died, his heart broke from the pain of putting all of this on his closest friends and family. I have seen what pain has done, and it will only lead into another. Stop it here, and live your life for the both of you. Live on. Stop this never-ending chain.

Please, I've seen it too many times before. I know I don't know you, or Caleb. But I'm asking you this: Don't do it. Please, for the sake of all of your loved ones, for the sake of Caleb.

im really sorry to hear that but as i look at the poll, DO NOT COPE ALONE! it will not help at all. also, if you try to forget, you won't. you will never forget this incident. 3 you feeling of suicide should not be happening. go with the only other choice and talk to someone.
