The sun
The sun has died
It drowns in the thickness of the night
The villagers were watching, as they cried
And the wise old man would recite
“The sun has died, and the moon reborn,
The cycle moves on, as we all feel torn
Life has been unkind to us all
But in time the whole world will fall
Light will lead us no more
Darkness you cannot ignore
But if people keep dreaming
Then the sun may stop drifting”
