PokeTerrain
Note* All PokeTerrian once bought will be placed in under pokemon terrian area as a seperate thread*
When it comes to buying land, this is the place to shop. Here you can purchase more land for your pokemon to live on when they are not on your party. Depending on the land that you buy, it will determine if the pokemon will be happy or not in thier new home, and in some cases will determine if it will still be here when you get back. For instinct might drive your pokemon to leave to find a more suitable home if the one you pick make it complete miserable.
For instances, a Charmander living in a Pond ...will not be a very happy Charmander for long. A Charmander in a lava pool ..will love you forever and ever, because the place is just what it looking for too.

::The woman sat there as you approached the desk, in full uniform and smile, she bows, before beckoning to the many floating screens revolving around herself that illustrated the most beautiful and poignant scenes of the terrain surrounding the center, and the many pokémon that could live within each area::
Welcome to the Terrain Center, where we offer only the most variety possible for your pokémon caring needs!
We ask you to please pay attention and take careful consideration when purchasing your land... if you intend to use it for many different types, you should study each area and which pokémon it is best suited for...
::With a wave of her hand, the floating videos stopped, and her hand seemed to have frozen it upon one image, that now spread itself across the screens of a grand, sweeping forestry::
FOREST GROOVE is the first zone available, and is most advised for new trainers, self-supportive, with its own system of rivers throughout, and filled with many nutritious fruit trees for your pokémon's needs!
A varied area that begins in long grass and sparse trees for many forest and meadow preferring pokémon that thickens into a grand canopy of warm, shaded forest, ideal for the more tropical pokémon who live in these environments!
BEST LOVED BY: Plant Type, Bug Type DISLIKED BY: Ice Type
::As she held up her arm, suddenly, the windows swung round again, to now reveal a sunswept beach, seeming going on and on forever in a great arc around a long sweep of land, surrounded by nothing but shimmering water::
::Yet, on the other side of this water, it slowly shifted, from the warm beach, to its far side, where sudden ice flows appeared!!::
CRESCENT BEACH is a favorite of many trainers!
A strange and area that is almost worthy of consideration as a holiday resort upon its beaches, warm and wondrous.
Yet as the waters become slowly deeper, the water becomes colder and heavier, producing the strange ice flows that are in constant movement, and not to forget, the mysterious caves that flow beneath them.
Ideal for ALL water types preferences... although please don't bring your fire type here!
BEST LOVED BY: Water Type, Ice Type DISLIKED BY: Rock Type*, Fire Type
*Exceptions are Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Corsola, Lileep, Cradily, Anorith
::Almost seamlessly, the pictures changed to reveal the next choice, a wideswept plain, like a grand meadow with spaced trees and ponds awaiting::
MIRAGE PASTURE is a curious choice... during the day, home to the aggressive pokémon who would graze upon the land placidly... but at sunrise and sunset, it takes on a far different scenery... ::With a click, the picture revolved from a Venusaur sleeping in the sun, to morning break, as Clefairy and Rattata all bounded out of their burrows, dancing in happiness, leaping as if trying to climb onto the rising sun!::
::And behind them in the distance, framed by the red dawn were the silhouettes of Kanghaskhan and Tauros grazing afar...::
And at night... ::Another click, and suddenly, a close up of a small shrine grew larger and larger, darker and darker, until finally, the image was bursting with ghost types fleeing out of the shrine, frolicing and laughing and mischief making with dark types!!::
Intriguing, hmmm? It's an adventuruous and fun loving type who would love this spot of land!!
Although... it must be noted... there are some creatures that may not like the open spaces, or the changing environments... so please as always be considerate!
BEST LOVED BY: Ghost Type, Dark Type, Normal Type, Electric Type DISLIKED BY: Psychic Type*, Dragon Type
*Exception is Girafarig
::Once again, but with a turn of the hand, suddenly the screens fled away to a new, strange place, a flat land of swept sand, with but only a few interruptions in the seemingly endless gold::
SILENT DOJO is not to be taken lightly, one for the dedicated fighter to raise their pokémon!
The sweeping sands are imported from the finest Buddhist temples, and exist not only as a good soft support for sparring, but also, for training of the mind... as you may note here...
::With a wave of the hand, she beckoned to two screens, one of which showed an Abra apparantly sleeping beneath a large bonsai-like tree aside a lake, and another of a Machop, drawing a rake in a slow, long line through the sands...::
As well as giving them space to spar, the area encourages a meditation to help strengthen mind as well as body!!
Please be aware... that for some pokémon, this area is a very intense place to be.. and that there are no sources of food available, nor nutrients in the ground that grass types can usually feed from.
It will be up to yourself to ensure your pokémon have food to continue their daily regiment!!
BEST LOVED BY: Psychic Type, Fighting Type, Ground Type DISLIKED BY: Normal Type, Grass Type*
*Exceptions are Cacnea, Cacturne, Torterra and Breloom
::And there was a pause, as if she was finished, but she didn't go to the last option until anyone looked at it for the longest time::
UPRAISING CRATER?
Surely that isn't what you're looking for, is it?
::The screen flashed up in an area:: Some consider Upraising Crater to be the strongest area we own for any beginner.. because the land is so hostile...
::Almost instantly, a crack of thunder illuminated the barren wasteland of rock, with tall, almost faceless towers of rock pushed up against the sky, craters of smoking mass littering the area... hardly the most inviting image...::
Upraising Crater is a savage area... hot and violent... it even has a strange magnetic wave that seems to push electric types away from it!
...It could be a good area to train in, for pokémon that are able to live in the harshest environments... or pokémon that can fly above it on the tops of the rock cliffs...
Asides that, it's quite ill advised...
BEST LOVED BY: Fire Type, Flying Type*, Rock Type*, Dragon Type*, Steel Type*, Poison Type** DISLIKED BY: Grass Type, Ice Type, Water Type, Electric Type***
*Exceptions are Empoleon, Gyarados, Mantyke, Mantine, Wingull, Pelipper, Kingdra, Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Relicanth, Lileep, Cradily and Anorith, which are more adapted for water
Also, Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Delibird and Tropius dislike this area, despite their flying elements
**Excluding all Poison/Grass typed pokémon
***Despite the normally extreme conditions for electric types Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone are all very partial, almost drawn to this area, possibly due to the magnetic waves discharged.
So... ::Finally, she smiled back::
Which is your choice? Oh and do remember that there are some draw backs to picking the wrong choice for your pokemon and a few pros to it as well.
Quote: If your type matches up with t terrain as beneficial, whenever one of yoru pokemon gains EXP in battle, your terrain pokemon gains experience equal to half the EXP your pokemon gained in battle If your type is a dual type and it matches for BOTH types in terrain, you gain EXP EQUAL to the EXP gained in batle A non-beneficial type will begin LOSING EXP, then finally, a dual type with both as non-beneficial will suffer far worse, becoming a plot point that the student needs to correct Eventually, if any pokemon is left in the non-beneficial zones, it will either run away, or die

::Jasmine had waited at least an hour or two before the opening hours, wrapped in her poncho, aided by her pokémon, but finally, she was here... her hat retrieved once more, the massive thing covered her head, as she and her pokémon entered together, looking around in awe at all the various areas available to purchase, as she let out a low 'wow'...::
::This was it... she had everything with her, her money, her items... all for this... as Blitzwing moved, taking her forward to the large front desk, that crutch of hers was yet to make itself known, so she could possibly have been excused the transport of the moment as she looked down::
I'd like to purchase an area from Forest Groove? ::She declared, placing down the money upon the counter, not even having removed it from the bag she'd won it in!::
::Her face was a bright grin, almost giddy as she sat there, and waited, all her pokémon around her, just as eager to see this go through!::

The woman at the front counter took the money without much of a second thought ...as she got up and approached Jasmine without even a bit of hesitation. Her body getting quite close as she pluck the badge off of her, and took it back to her desk. Running it underneath the scanner, she store the needed information into it ...as she comes back and holds the badge out to Jasmine.
"All done, now, anytime you have more than six pokemon on your team ...the seventh pokemon will be transfer to Forest Groove by yrou badge." "THough you will have to go the actually land site in order to pick up any new pokemon of your own." "The coordinates of where this land is ...is in your badge as well simply press it, and you can go to it right away." "Also, any bug types or plant types on this land will gain experience here equal to 1/2 the experience your pokemon gain in any battles."
"Though, before you go, I need to know one more thing, do you want to change the name of your 5 acres of land, or will you leave it as Forest Groove?"

::The girl blinked, watching on fascinated, she'd never known this was part of the process, and listened intently, her grin getting wider and wider, with every second and word that came out of this wonderful woman's mouth:: Sure!!!! ::She cried out suddenly, not even saying what she was saying sure to!::
::Everything sounded wonderful, everything sounded brilliant!!!::
::Bold and Liberty would both benefit... as she thinks back to her dream... not the Safari dream... but rather the dream of hugging a Victreebel!!::
::...Although perhaps it was best to leave out the details on that one, as she finally pulled her sane thoughts together to grin at the woman:: The name of this land?
Jasmine's Safari Zone! ::She declared, loudly and proudly, hardly seeming ready to wait!!::

Kay blinked, put a little off by the man's attitude. Well, he certanly got to buisness, there was no doubt about that. Kay went over her pokemon's types in her mind quickly, and she was planning on going back to see if Chingling and Cubone wanted to come with her, so, any pokemon but Chingling would be alright in Mirage pasture, and there was somthing about it.
"Alright, Alright." She muttered, pulling out some gold, and laying 10,000 of it on the table in front of her, "I want to buy an area from Mirage Pasture." She said.

"Excellent purchase." "Though, we don't do any refunds or any exchanges if it's not what you want." "So, give it a few moments, and that place will be open to you."
The man declares as he turned the computer and started to work on the input on the computer as he turns back and looks over at Kay.
"There, all done, now, anytime you have more than six pokemon on your team ...the seventh pokemon will be transfer to Mirage Pasture by way of the pokeball system." "THough you will have to go the actually land site in order to pick up any new pokemon of your own." "The coordinates of where this land is ...will be tranfer to you on your proof of purchase, so you can go to it right away." "Also, any Dark types will gain 1/2 the experience your pokemon gain in any battles execpt those of the Mirage Arena."
"Though, before you go, I need to know one more thing, do you want to change the name of your 5 acres of land, or will you leave it as Mirage Pasture?"
