Does anyone know if they're ever going to change the search engine back to the way it was so we can search for things with 3 letters or less? I'm asking this here since the only reason I care is that I'm wondering whether or not to sell my btk. I got it not too long ago for about 40k, when I happened to see it on the front page (and had to really battle for it) but now I don't really care for it.
The price has stayed, according to tektek, at around 36k, but unless they fix the search engine no one will really be able to get them anymore and the price will drop. Any suggestions from my fellow marketplace crawlers?

well...if it's a monthly collectibe item....then keep it even if you dont use it
The price goese higher over time....

I have no idea about them changing the search engine back. It would be helpful for everyone if they did. If you really want to sell it, start advertizing around the forums. If you don't get any offers you like, hold onto it for a little longer. That's what I'd do anyway.

Hold onto it, definetly. Values on MC's can really increase over time- I have some bought at less than 30k now worth over 100k.

The thing that worries me about hanging onto it is that if they never fix the search engine, it'll depreciate since people will only be able to get in in the exchange.

I don't think that'll happen. Even if the search is never fixed, there will still be increasing demand for it as the site grows, but the demand will have to go to the forums and such, and the price will rise there. If anything, it'll just slow the rate of increase.

Silent Comet The thing that worries me about hanging onto it is that if they never fix the search engine, it'll depreciate since people will only be able to get in in the exchange. Generally items either stagnate or inflate when you can't search them, they rarely deflate. Though the BTK isn't that great of an item so you probably would do better to sell it and use that gold to vend other items.
