Okay, let's face it, there are a lot of candidates for worst...

But, although some people find it funny, I didn't.

I can't think of any right now, but now that you mention it, I agree with you on this one.....

Yes! I was going to say that if no one else had! Those are so corny, and they are damn near all knock offs of some big name movies.

Mothra and Godzilla have to be on the list for the worst Sci-Fi movies ever. Oh well. I found them to be quite hilarious, actually. What? I like bad movies sometimes as well.

There are many bad old ones, like The Blob. That thing was so slow, it just kind of oozed. Why didn't they just, you know, walk away before they knew what to do about it to get rid of it for good? xd

Battlefield Earth. They took what was arguably the best sci/fi book of all time and made what is arguebly the worst sci/fi movie of all time from it.

H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds.

The version I'm talking about was released to video just before the Spielberg/Cruise version came into theaters. Spielberg's version, whatever you think about it, looks like gold compared to this. Dad found it at Wal-Mart for $5 in the bargain video bin. It's set in the original time period (late 1800's to early 1900's) of the book, which is a pretty good idea, considering.

It's a three-hour travesty of:

1. Bad acting--after the first Martian attack, the main character goes back home to his wife and tells her about what happened. All she does is quietly burble "It's such a tragedy." It's like she read of the disaster in a newspaper instead of hearing about it happen in her own backyard.

2. Bad pacing--Every single time the characters go somewhere, we have to watch their every step along the path.

3. Terrible CGI--It doesn't blend in with the live scenery and characters, and video games from the late 90's have better animation. This film was released in 2005.

Sorry about the long rant. I'm still angry at myself for choosing to watch it.
