-The Parting-

Its never gone right
Eyes in no way dry
Drowning in deceit,
Sacred faces lie.
You try to say

Dawning fate sings
Breath is leaving you now
Forever remains
What’s left to be said
Is everything okay?

Bedside waiting
Eyes gleaming
Alone never was
Gasps for air, bleeding
Don’t leave me

Laced with intricate cries
Silence was misread
Leaving black to die
Under the footsteps of
Till death do us part

A vow with no meaning
Finally your listening innocence is breathing
You stood for what’s leaving
A look was a greeting.

Right or wrong never had a chance
A new day was never taught
Your parting with damp eyes
Sinister thoughts being
A love with no meaning.

Sadly the next one is written about my mother

-I’m Over You-

I hope you know that the words you say
Don’t hurt me the way they did yesterday.
I’m done with you
And I’ done with caring
Whatever you’ve got say
Won’t hurt me in anyway.
Because I’m over that
I’m over you
You hate me, I know its true.
You don’t love me, I get it,
I’m just not perfect enough for you.
If I tried to tell you this
You’d say I didn’t understand
And that’s all in my head
It’ll pass soon, don’t be so mad.
Every night I cry myself to sleep
You don’t know how much I wanted to make you proud.
I can’t stand another fight,
So I’m through with not helping you.
Talk to me,
Whatever,
I’ll answer back but I won’t know you.
You’ve turned into someone your not
Someone you said you wouldn’t become.
I thought that it was just a stage
Until I learned you’re the only one that I hate.
So I’m over you,
I’m forgetting you
I know its sad
But that’s the truth.

The last one is written about my ex-best friend and how she made me hate her because she thought I was jealous over her boyfriend.

-Always Wanted-

Is this what you always wanted?
Dreams are fading its always something.
Take care of yourself and what you’ve found
Its not true until you realized you can’t live without.
Is that what you see in him?
Desperate attempts at jealousy
You know its not right.
Make everyone hate you for what you have
Something they don’t understand.
Sweet talking them into disaster,
A perpetual forever.
Is this what you see in the mirror?
A someone who has nothing
Left in the cold with fear?
Watch as everyone sneers
Love at first sight
Its never happened to you.
But it was always wanted.

Okay I lied a few more

-Everything Changed-

Death defying heights you fell
Only here to catch me you say
Walking beside you I missed you
Flicking the hair out of your eyes
I got lost along the way

Help me I tried to scream
Everything’s going to change
The sky was blue that day
Nothings going to be the same
He pulled me farther away

You found me one day
He hid me again
I tried to scream for you
But he pulled out a gun
And lifted it to your head

You held your breath and choked
You were ready to die for me
I blinked and he was dead
You didn’t know what came over you
Its never going to be okay.

Don’t give up on me I said
We went for a walk that day
Your sacred, devoted to me
What would have happened if
you chose not to speak ?

The day it came and went
The day everything changed
Its different now
Its never going to be the same.
He pulled me farther away.

I wrote this about Shawn Hornbeck. If you don't know who he is you should look him up on the internet!

-Forever Lost-

Your face tearstained,
Pierced with weakness.
Small eyes dart back and forth
As you shrink lower in your seat.
A plagued boy.
Surrender to a nervous breakdown
Whisper words of tortured souls.
Breath endlessly for us,
And hear the words that were spoken.
Reach out for survival.
Traumatized by flashbacks,
Forever tormented by memories.
Cross your heart hope to die,
Thoughts gone unjustified
Flowing into leaking eyes
Burst into tears you may cry.

-The City In the Sky-

The city in the sky
Looking down upon
Your anger and doubts.
Tears fall to make the rain
In which the guilty thrive.
Clouds are your rooftop
They cover you from the heavens.
Above looking down,
Remembering what it was like
When you were one of them.
Dissolution ending everything
The thoughts you had.
Private lights
Flashing in your head,
Sending warning signs without a sense.
Dignity breaking down
Into small traces of shame.
The city in the sky
Reflections of when you were young
And everything was simpler then.
You fell in love, had your heart broken,
Raised a family and disappeared.
Leaving them their when they to
Were as young as you once were.
The lingering glare from your tears
Their rain that makes them shiver.
Thoughts of you remain
In anger and in shame.
Its not want you meant to do.
You knew destiny was decided for you
Facing your life when you couldn’t
Even walk, let alone
Grasp what it meant.
You break down.
Dark clouds cover the sky
Leaving devastation to all the innocent.
The city in the sky.
