in the gaia arena im geting alot of comments from some stupid people who say they have a big house in mexico. wtf is that? new spam?

I got that on mine too. Who was it from? Mine were from two different accounts, but I knew they were the same person. (almost same name)

I've gotten atleast three of those on my vote so far. I've seen a few people who have more than a dozen. Can we report these morons for spamming? I've seen five different screen names doing it so far.

Well, Posted a list of 13 of the screen names doing it, not yours MaxDesigner lol in the Q&A and sent a copy to an Omni Mod. The helper mods in the Q&A are convinced the spammers are actually bots.
With any luck they'll stop clogging our entries. rolleyes

Well, I've seen it and gave it a 10/10 blaugh I love the Tiki hiding in the middle there and the Audrey plant in the back. Very cool!

If no one gets successfully reported for this, then my suggestion is to just, well, delete them.

Here is the post, repeated ad nauseum:
"My house in Mexico was big. It had 5 rooms. It was
more comfortable than my apartment here. I lived

kitchen. The second floor had three bedrooms and

It would almost be funny if it were'nt clogging the comments on almost every entry. All those screen names above came from only TWO entries!! Mine and steeluna's.

Is there a way to stop this? I mean, I know they can be deleted but with this many people, or maybe they're all mules? doing this, I think it needs someone with authority to step in.

It seems that they are indeed botting and some were taken care of. I will investigate further in this, thank you so much for notifying me about this!

Put a link to your Arena Entry in your Sig. Something like VOTE HERE FOR MY HOME! or some such. If you do alot of forum posting, you'll find you get a lot more votes from people who just see your signature, click the link and go vote. Make it big! Make it colorful! You want it to catch peoples eye!
Just don't exceed the size limits for signatures. blaugh 500 pixels by 500pixels and 100 kb.

As for the problems you're having seeing houses, sometimes I think it just gets lagged really hard, if someone's houes is just overloaded with stuff. Try refreshing the page. Coming back to it later. Switching browsers. and above all Clearing your Cache. That seems to clear up most problems on Gaia.
