Hi, guys! This is my first post in the guild. sweatdrop

Alrighty! So, I was quickly glancing over the titles of all the poems and noticed that they were all kinda depressing sounding. So, I'm writing this poem right off of the top of my head and typing it as I think of it and trying to not do something that's like "My bleeding heart longs for you" or anything like that. Okay? Okay!

All your words are so depressing,
Your song just seem... emo.
All you words seem so thoughtless,
and I thought you should know.

Life is not as empty.
Life is not so sad.
Life is not so happy.

With your death in my mind,
I wait.
I wait for your return.

Life is like a road,
And you are the wheel.
Although you are beaten by the road
You must continue, no matter how you feel.

To respond to someones post
using poetry as prose
may sound odd or strange, but kid,
That's who i am, you know?

So all in all its very good
But lets get one thing clear
if people mourn by poetry,
don't judge them, ok dear?

Well said! Poetry is an effective channel for expressing our emotions and our thoughts, even if they are ones of sadness. Writing about sad emotions is just as valid as writing about feelings of happiness. I would much rather write about my sadness than keep it bottled up inside; it's like taking a huge weight off my shoulders!
