You Have A Life To Live Today- my effort at a deep poem

[Staring Off Into Space]

Pull the broken threads together
Save the severed hearts that cry
Hold to happiness with a tether
Let the wind carry you by

Watch the world fall apart
reach a hand out to save
gather children in your hearth
Wait for wicked all to leave

Hold your unforgiving tears
Let forth your friendly smiles
and laugh the blessed days away
Remember what the words do say

You have a life to live today.


I thought it sounded funny.. xd xd I decided to write something all deep and big-worded like everyone else does.. rolleyes usually my poems are happy.. O well.. Comment I guess.

I like it but it could be a little better. The first stanza is my favorite, the last line on the second stanza makes no sense.
Aside from that, I liked it. Keep up the good work!
