Quite simply does music influence your mood like does sad songs make you sad.

yeah it does cuz there are some songs that just gets me all hyped up and then there are songs that reminds me of stuff that can make me real sad

Absolutely.
And when I listen to music wile I'm reading, it affects how I perceive the book. If the music is sad, the events in the book seem more depressing.

To an extent, I'd say yes.
Obviously, suicidal emo songs wouldn't make me feel like killing myself; if songs were THAT powerful, there'd be a bunch of dead people by now.
But yes; listening to a happy cheerful song is going to put you in a good mood 9 times out of 10, and vice versa.

Yes. Most of the time. I'll even play certain music when I am writing certain things and I want something to influence that feeling.

I think it does. When i'm writing papers for english or history it helps to hear rock music.

no, my mood influences my choice of music for the better, which in turn influences my mood, for the better. :3

yeah. my mood is never brought up by music, it only brings it down. sometimes way down.

I think for me it's the other way around, my mood influences my music, but I'm always in the mood for metal.
