Well one of my hobbies is playing my trumpet for my school band. I'm also in the Jazz Band there, so I'm having some more fun.
Anyone else like playing for their school band and what instrument do you play?

When I was in middle/highschool, I was in the band for a while. I played the trumpet. It gave way to drama though.

I was in the jazz band in high school, but I didn't play an instrament. I was one of four scat singers. Does that count?
In college I played marimba and percussion in the band and the orchestra.

For the time being I'm in band, but I'm quitting next year maybe because I don't like the teachers...I play Alto Sax and flute though...
I only play my Alto Sax anymore though...and we are forced to go to pepband, I don't think I could stand four more years of playing stupid songs and yelling at the top of my lungs for a required grade

i play clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, and piano.
i go to an arts school where my major is music.
i play clarinet in my school Wind Ensemble, and i play in the orchestra when our school does musicals, the current one being Fiddler on the Roof. i also play clarinet in a Saturday composition class, and some people even hire me.
i play alto sax in my school Latin Band, as well as a Big Band outside of school, at a music center. i play tenor sax in our school Big Band and i also play it in the Funk Band that i made, which is going very well. the school Big Band that i'm in just got a Unanimous Superior grade in our CMEA Jazz Festival, which we hosted. the Funk Band that i have got our first paying gig a while ago, and we will play at our school's Black History Month celebration.
i play piano and take private lessons, and i like to play jazz, salsa/latin, and classical.

I used to be in band im home schooled so my band group was at biola. But then biola cancled it i was so bummed. I play the flute.
