I don't have anything against Bill Gates, other than the things he sells are over priced. I had a dream with him in it... he gave me candy and his body guards were nice XD Ipods I don't need... I'm fine with what I have.

I am a fan of windows more because it is a powerful, efficient solution that allows me to do everything I want without having to deal with a lot of junk that just shouldn't have to be dealt with on a daily basis.

X_x I had Windows ME as my operating system for about two or three years and it was TORTURE. I haven't tried Linux yet, but I REALLY want to. I plan on saving up a crap-load of money from now until tax-free weekend next year and either buying a Macintosh or just building one.
But I hate Windows. Absolutely hate it. I even switched over to XP and it STILL gives me blue screens. crying

NobleCrouton I had a dream with him in it... he gave me candy and his body Don't you love partial quotes? But, on topic, I prefer Linux and GNU and such but I don't hate Microsoft. Mookyvet I had Windows ME as my operating system for about two or three years and it was TORTURE. Windows ME does suck. Bad.

ME was the most unstable version of Windows ever I believe... I'm currently running XP SP2 without any hitches, other than my hardware being flaky... I've tried to get my dad to buy a new system for me, but he won't hear of it. It's either too much money, or I don't need it. stare It's hopeless for me, unless I buy it myself... I'm alright with any OS really, since I've used almost all of them to some degree.

I dual boot between Win XP Pro SP2 and Ubuntu Dapper Drake. The only reason I still have the win partition is because WINE isnt terribly stable under 64bit yet, and i still want to play my games razz

If I didn't need some Windows only applications for school, I'd be on Linux like stink on rice.

I am definitely getting more and more tired of windows, on my next computer I will be trying out some form of linux, probably Ubuntu. I am also starting to use OpenOffice.org, but no regression equations=gay.
