Any other riders out there ninja ?
I live in the city, but once a fortnight I go trekking. It's in the middle of nowhere, big hills, clay, mud, scrubby bush mostly riding a Kaimanawa (wild NZ horse) called Blaze. She's a pretty little donkey, chestnut with stockings on her hind legs and a ...blaze funnily enough. Only ever fallen off once when my mate's pony took off down hill. Hoping to keep it that way sweatdrop

heh Im no "rider" thats for sure, my riding experience qualifies as a loop or two around an outside roping arena at a small ranch in the eastern plains of Montana on a old, and very tame heading horse. 3nodding

crying I used to ride, but then I moved and I haven't had the time to look around for a place to do so... but i'm going to my aunt's ranch in a few weeks (she's an equestrian vet), so when I'm not working as her assistent maybe I'll get some riding in!

Lo i ride and it is wicked blaugh -- We used to own a horse ranch but then we move to Scotland. We don't have the ranch anymore but i still ride and work round horses. I take people out for treks along the beach and through one of the forests up on the hills.

I am paranoid that I'm going to horrifically fall off a horse, break my neck, and end up like Reeves once was. Aye. I admire their beauty from afar, but I tend to steer clear from actually riding a horse.

I got a horse for my 5 birthday and I still have him. I named him Mr. Tumnus, he's all white except for his little black socks (on all four ankles).
My family moved a lot so he mostly stayed with my grandpopa but I go to boarding school now so my parents pay to keep him in the school stables. Its not a horse riding school but we play polo so the school own about 30 horses so Tumnus has lots of friends.
I try to get out and ride him at least 2 a week on the trails school says are ok.

I haven't been able to go riding in forever but God what I would give to.
I grew up on a small scrap of land that can hardly be called a ranch, we only had three horses and less than ten cows, but it was enough for me lol. I started riding in the rodeo when I was about nine -- just barrel racing and entertaining the adults in the crowd.
My stepfather sold my horse, Jetta [ and her colt! ] to pay for my brothers dragster gonk
It'd be a dream come true for me to get another one.
