            ◊ DETERMINED If you give Note enough time-or even no time!-she will figure it out. Whether it be a math problem, a table being double booked, or even a bus full of tourist and a broken freezer door, she’ll do her best to figure out any solution and make sure it goes to plan. Good or bad.
            ◊ IMAGINATIVE One of Note’s favorite pastimes is daydreaming different scenarios, especially if she’s seen or read something particularly fantastical. Ever since she discovered fanfiction, it opened up whole new avenues that she's enjoying discovering.
            ◊ ORGANIZED Sincer her childhood discovery, Note has taken to keeping multiple journals and notebooks of her thoughts and ideas. As such, she’s had to learn to become quite orderly and categorized otherwise her notes and books would become a tangled mess. Plus as additional help in the restaurant, she’d learned early on that as long as she was organized, almost everything would run smoothly.
            ◊ INVENTIVE Note enjoys coming up with new ways of doing things or even fixing the way things have “always been done.” She’s very good at not just adapting to a situation but sometimes coming up with ways to make it better.
            ◊ THOUGHTFUL Note’s head is almost always up in the clouds always imagining scenarios or coming up with ideas. Despite her sometimes airheaded nature, she’s always willing to be of help to anyone around her. Sometimes the worlds collide and she’ll be up until two in the morning trying to sew a wrist wrest to help her mama’s arthritis or she’ll keep a flavor of tea that no one else likes except for one particular customer.
            ◊ IMMATURE Due to being sheltered most of her life, Note has a rather naive look upon the outside world. Her only view of it really comes from the customers who come in or in books and television. It’s unfortunately led to her gullibly falling for things she shouldn’t have had or even believing a person when she should’ve remained skeptical.

            CHILDHOOD Note, formally known as Hathaikan was born as a surprise several years after her older brother Puppy (Arthit) to their parents Dokmai and Sudaret. The two ran and owned a Thai restaurant in their small Welsh village, pretty much the only one of its kind so they tend to get pretty good traffic most days. They have their regulars as well as any tourists or backpackers who somehow make their way in. Dokmai worked in tandem running the front of house as well as the majority of the accounting while Sudaret was the primary chef. As soon as Note could stand and say “how can I help you” she was placed in the restaurant as help alongside her brother who was already an established server and buss boy. She quickly garnered her nickname as her family jokingly explained that as soon as she was given her first notepad, she had filled it with any random word, thought, or image she came up with. Roughly a week later, they would have to get her another one before she became too upset. By her third one in barely a month’s time they decided to just give her notebooks and journals which she happily accepted. As Note grew, so did her thoughts and ideas. When she was seven, she spent nearly a year campaigning to add flavored boba teas as their own specialty menu to attract younger customers and when she finally won, her mother warned her that since it was her idea she would have to be the one to nurture it. She used any savings she had to buy two flavored syrups, a big bag of tapioca starch and managed to find a tea dispenser in good shape from a church sale. It took a while of trial, errors, and sometimes near tears of frustration, but Note garnered a small but loyal following of customers who would come to the restaurant first for her tea and sometimes later for food. Then even the older customers became curious as to the weird drink and began to order from her. By her tenth birthday, her bubble teas were part of the official menu and she could proudly tell her family “I told you so” much to their exasperation and pride. But the real surprise would happen on her next birthday when a representative would come and say that Note was actually a witch and was given a place at magical school in Scotland. Understandably, her parents and brother didn’t truly believe them without multiple shows of proof but even after they were hesitant to allow her to go. Sudaret and Dokmai had come to Wales with almost nothing besides a pregnant belly and empty wallets and had only been able to rely upon themselves with little to no outside familial help. Their anxiety and over-protectiveness had kept their children as close as possible all their lives, even homeschooling them until they reached middle grades. They rarely even let her ride her scooter two blocks over without Puppy as her watcher, they couldn’t comprehend an entire country! Note was of course curious about this new world she was apparently a part of but knew of her parent's fears and anxiety. So as she was prone to do, she compiled and presented a proposal of the pros and cons of her attending the school. It took a while-a long long loonngg while-but she ultimately prevailed. Hogwarts will be the furthest Note has ever been from her family and she’s both thrilled and intimated by this prospect.
