DETERMINED Atticus tends to put his full focus into things when he decides they're important. He'll do everything he can to pursue these tasks, and once he sets his mind to something, it's impossible to talk him out of it. If there is an answer that he wants, he is going to find it, and nothing is going to stop him.
MORAL Atticus always does what he thinks is right. He wants to make sure that people are treated fairly. He's also not afraid to call people out for being rude or unthoughtful. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and will go out of his way without question to do what he thinks is right.
INTELLIGENT Atticus has always been naturally intelligent. He easily remembers things that he's learned and is eager to learn more. He loves to talk about the things he knows and will happily share information with anyone who asks. He often spends time lost in thought while he tries to figure out something new.
CLUMSY Atticus is undoubtedly clumsy, and not just physically. He doesn't have the best control of his body and is far from graceful. This can also apply to his mouth. He tends to say things without realizing how they are going to come across. Not rude things, awkward things. He usually realizes this after the fact, but not quickly enough to stop himself. He's also not the best at keeping track of time and is frequently late.
SUPPORTIVE Atticus deeply cares about other people. He goes out of his way to be there for other people and is someone you can always rely on. EARLY CHILDHOOD Atticus was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Jay and Sarah Callahan. Sarah was a Muggle, and Jay was a wizard. From what he could remember, his younger years were happy. He always felt safe and protected, and he knew his parents loved each other. Unfortunately, this happiness didn't last. When he was six, his mother was on her way home from work and was violently mugged and died in the street before anyone even knew what had happened.

After that, his father started going downhill mentally. He was, of course, devastated and became obsessed with finding the man who had done it. Being so young, all Atticus really knew about the situation was that he was never going to see his mother again.

Atticus was never quite sure how his father accomplished it, whether someone had given him information, or he had figured it out himself, but a few weeks after Sarah's death, Jay found the mugger and killed him. To this day, Atticus doesn't really know the details, only that his father was sent to Azkaban for the murder of a Muggle. Atticus was sent to live with his uncle and his family.

After that, things sort of fell into a new normal. At least as normally as they could get after something like that. He was very glad when he finally received his Hogwarts letter and had a chance to get into some new surroundings. Especially somewhere where no one knew his story (hopefully).
