The oldest one I remember which I do own on dvd is Mysterious Cities of Gold which aired in Nickelodeon. The anime flopped in Japan so Saban took it over, putting it in English for us to enjoy. In Japanse the anime was called Taiyō no Ko Esuteban. The French like dit so much they went on to make 2 more seasons, 1 I do own. That was Les Mystérieuses Cités d'or. The French went as far as to make a soundtrack as well
