The Children of Oberon
in the beginning the realms were created along with the Infinity Stones and the first world.
On said world, the Titans were born but two decided to explore beyond Greece. One of these was Mab, Mother and Queen of the Fae who in reality gave birth to those who would one day become the start for the many different pantheons. They along with their descendants would become the Children of Mab, these included Bor who would father Odin, Atum, the first of the Egyptian deities, Puck, a trickster who would one day side with her last son; Oberon. Her sister, the Blue Fairy aka Fairy Godmother, who would create the very beings people knew of today using the laughter of newborns, took to the skies to create Neverland.
Now before Oberon was born, Mab's brother Titan, Kronos, fell to the Olympians and feared the same thing would happen to her so as each of her children were born she banished them from Avalon, the Island kingdom where she birthed her children, out into the world where they would claim and create the first civilizations of the known world. In Oberon's case however, he was born in the Dark Ages so Mab did not worry about him hearing about gods overthrowing their parents but she did keep a watchful eye on him and even objected to his marriage to Titania, the Blue Fairy's first daughter claiming she was "too spoiled". He married her anyway and had a daughter named Maleficent but his mother broke it off by force. This started Oberon's stubbornness and decided to roam the mortal world and saw he liked humanity, even taking a mortal bride; Huneth. Said marriage was short lived the same as his first but not before the mortal woman found she was pregnant with the soon to be sorcerer: Merlin who would play a role in Mab's downfall.
As Merlin grew up, he went to Hogwarts and quickly rose to the top of his class impressing the founders, especially when they discovered his lineage. When he was seventeen, his father finally brought him to Avalon where he and the other next generation of gods; Odin, Anubis, etc overthrew Mab. In fact it was Merlin himself who crafted the iron prison for her and sent her down to the Earth's core. Oberon then took over and renamed the 'Children of Mab' the 'Children of Oberon' and rewed Titania.
After Camelot fell, Merlin became a hermit and was cursed to live forever for his failure by Oberon. Not even Excalibur could kill him. Titania and the other 'children' argued with each other and Oberon which eventually caused Oberon to decree that no Fae may set foot on Avalon for a thousand years and that he and Titania needed some time apart. So they divorced yet again.
During this time, none of the 'Children' were allowed to interfere in the lives of mortals, though that didn't stop neither king nor queen to have wandering eyes. Oberon set his eyes upon a curious woman who lived in a realm known as Fiore a little over 100 years ago and would sire the child who would one day create the Wizard Guild Fairy Tail: Mavis Vermilion.
Titania on the other hand went to the regular mortal realm to New York city where she met a genius inventor by the name of Halcyon Renard under the name Anastasia. They were married and had a daughter named Janine Renard who later changed her name to 'Fox'. Fox ended up falling for one David Xanatos and had a son named Alexander who, after discovering the child might have magic (due to Fox's not showing itself), Oberon attempted to take him. However a combined might of David's iron 'Metal Clan' Gargoyles, Goliath's Manhattan Clan Gargoyles, and Fox's magic finally showing itself, Oberon allowed Alex to stay but banished Puck from Avalon and binded his magic save for training or protecting Alex.
This however was short lived as Puck failed in this when Xehanort arrived, kidnapping Alex and plunging the realm of New York into the Realm of Darkness. Xehanort then took the darkness of Yami Oblivion and corrupted it with his own and put it in a pocket dimension (to age him) with the child in plans of making it a new vessel for him. However this was altered when a powerful light interfered and gave Alex his free will and (as it would be revealed later) a destiny as the White Dragon Lord.
Alex, now aged to eighteen in eighteen seconds, traveled to Fiore with his dragon Critias and joined the Fairy Tail guild. Many adventures including his 'death' then rebirth as his true-er form on Avalon, he married Erza 'Titania' Scarlet (no relation to his great grandmother) and had two children; a girl named Titania Xanatos who became the Life Dragon Lord (it's complicated) and Simon Xanatos who (unbeknownst to him) is the human personification of the Light Side of the Force much like Merlin is the human personification of Magic.
