The two leaders were negotiating for the treaty and definitely trying to lift the embargo.

After a long time of debating, he needed something more from them. Something that was worth more to them than those he lost and the fae were rare and hard to come by so he watching the set group he brought over making suggestions but then Kraitos finally lifted himself up and gave nod to the GodMother before taking a step towards the Ash.

"Please do not move."

It wasn't all the time that he had visions, but it was a better chance that something could connect.

It was nerve wracking but He didn't know how else to help because oracles and seers were so rare but also so sought after so he knew that he could so something he just didn't know what exactly. Pressing his forehead against his head and there was flood of images. Some from the fire. Some from how he protected who he could and some that he had to leave behind but then there was something. An image and it was the gazelle that the Ash brought. Something having to do with her. Immediately he pushed against the Ash's forehead which really, he didn't move nor make any comment. Simply the Ash stood there and watched.

Emi spoke up.

"What did you see Kairos?"
"What he said about their pride... is true."

The rest of the 'nera that were allowed in the council room spoke and continued to look through to see if they were the ones that helped to destroy the Ash's pride. Turns out, it wasn't true. That was an even bigger problem. Who was it.

"I only saw pieces of che carnage and for some I saw an extra large red lion... evil looking... I don't know what to say about that but I would like to call upon the gazelle that was brought with him."

Athena had alreadey spoke to her brother and the biggest thing that she noticed was that the gazelle held a lot of weight against the Ash and for that reason her brother brought upon this possiblity.

"There is another that was sent by an oracle of the fae pride- and to them, their words are sacred. Although my brother is in another pride, his words still hold weight. So I beg you. Hear him."

Xibos was alert, he was in the pride that his collation found refuge in but yet he seen some 'treated' differently and that Athena had given the ok to start learning the trees fighting style. It was treason. Yet he couldn't help but feel obligated to now hear some part of this negociation. Oracles were heard and respected and he hoped that Kairos was not pulling something like a joke because he would have him beheaded.

"Because of the nature of the gazelle, she won't be making an appearance."

"I believe that the gazelle has ample reason to be here. She was in my vision... and it isn't the first time."

The Ash rose up and gave a judgmental eye to Kairos. "Let us not forget that you are a criminal! And your visions.... may not even be visions."

Emi shook her head and rose up, her fur coat draped over her left side as she rose her chin up. "Kairos is an oracle of the 'Nera and you WILL respect our family of Destiny. His visions have been essential to our pride and he is genuinely looking out for his old pride. For that you should be thanking him for helping him. On top of that." She rose her paw to Rigel.

"From what I understand, that cheetah is Rigel. Athena and Kairos's brother. We have had several search parties for Rigel and YOUR WHOLE pride. We were empty pawed. I am not one to separate family, so I would like the siblings to come together for dinner while WE discuss what the embargo is really about."

There was something about how the two leaders stared at each other before the Ash lifted his paw and Rigel came in and looked at his siblings. He was once a fun loving and always so aloof. Now, Rigel was serious and almost hateful looking towards his siblings. Especially Athena, whom he trusted that she would come back to them, only to find out that she was living her life here in this new pride that seemed to not take in to consideration all of their beliefs.

Athena had a sigh of relief. "Thank you GodMother- I'll take my brothers then for the feast."

"Please take good care of them Athena." Emi's voice was soft and tender.

Ami, Emi's daughter was much like Rigel in the way she stared them all down and was absorbing and watching everyone's actions and even so much that she was learning the speech as well. If she was to be GodMother one day, then she needed to know how to deal with other prides and this pride was especially scary. Especially how the other leader seemed to headstrong and almost completely irrational in the embargo already. Looking to her mother she tried to settle down. Her mother never lost, and even if she never wanted to be a leader- those of the pride were overjoyed when she took power away from her brother that began to mistreat so many of the pride. She was indeed a great leader. Just, Ami had different plans and what she saw for their future.

Right now. It was all eyes on Emi and the Ash.

The three siblings retired to Athena's den and there was already two fighters watching out for her den and gave them some space so they could all come in.

"Rigel..... It's so good to see you!"

"Yea Riggy, we missed you so much!"

"Then why didn't you come back to me. Why did you LEAVE me!?" He got up close to them- for some reason he was the tallest and he was FOR SURE not the oldest! "I looked EVERYWHERE FOR YOU! Then- OUR PRIDE was in jeopardy! If you hadn't left the outpost in shambles and at least TELL someone that you moved- we could've recovered our original pride! Do you know how HARD and how RARE it is for the trees that we live in!? And then when I heard Athena was letting our fighting skills secrets out!? Do you know how embarrassed I WAS!? I swore to the Ash that I would make up for both of your actions! I TOOK THE HEAT!"

"Yet now you are the Ash's pet." Kairos added, growling.

"You were once a slave here! So shut it!" He retorted.

Athena rubbed her temples.
"Let us eat!~ Ok EAT! Calm down and eat! You must be exhausted from going through the desert. If it hadn't been for us- you and the rest of the pride that decided to follow- would have been lost and killed. So we are ALL thankful- that you have come here safe. Like the rest of our home pride." Show bowed her head and took the first bite.

It was like this when they were cubs. As soon as she ate- the other two began to follow. It was silent and that was nice. For the moment.

"Please enlighten me, The Ash- why you have placed the embargo with full details of your concerns. From what I can tell you of the situation, Kairos foretold us about an upcoming event. During this time, we were already looking for allies and trade routes but this trade route was to help us gain medicinal roots and berries in the area. We were taking our time to explore the area and gain simple knowledge until Kairos brought it to our attention. An event that was happening at his old pride. So I made the order to dispatch several lions, leopards, and cheetahs and even wilddogs to go and help. Kairos led them, and Athena was then recruited. We saved many and most were set up in a temporary outpost for your pride until the fires have been silenced. Once they had, Athena made the call to send word to the main pride- and let the survivors pick if they wanted to follow her or not. She followed us because Kairos is high ranking in our pride and he has saved many with his visions. Athena also wanted protection for the outpost as well and I granted that, provisions, and training in our combat style as well as any medicines or trades they needed. We have been in sync for near a year. It was not out of malicious intent that your original outpost was abandoned. It was the elements beyond our control. Or a loose God."

The Ash shook his head.

"Your pride- is much like the others. You kill with a price tag do you not? Our pride is the way of the land. We do not kill for power, land nor royalties. We only feed what we must. You take over lands and make outposts to house your illness for greed. Our way is opposite of yours. You have 'slaves'. You house a prison for them and yourselves. You deal them like they were items in your storages. You say you saved our own but yet you reap the benefits of our lands. Your illness has spread with your trades and your ways. We can not be alliances with you. How can we be sure of the words of a criminal? What if you were the ones that made our outpost ablaze and came to our own like saviors and running to you for shelter when you were the ones whom put us ablaze! We know much... we listen to the trees. Did you wonder why, our scouts and I were able to locate you so easily? Your pride isn't as hidden as you like. With your greed reaching, you will fall."

"We have taken in many of your pride and created save havens for them! We have many survivors of prides whom have been demolished by the falling skies of the gods wraths or even those that simply seek refuge. Everyone, even a slave has the ability to rise in ranks. We all work together to provide for one another. We have outposts to protect the pride along with the vast desert that this crater has made around us to protect us from those that wish to hurt us. Our tornado was from the goddess's blessings. We may not walk the same walk of life, The Ash, but we are not as bad as you say. For your gods and others gods- we created a haven where all the different Gods can be worshipped as well. If we wanted to brainwash and make everyone follow us, we could. Here there is freedom." Emi hissed at the leader. How could he just talk down to them without knowing them!?

Ami lifted her head.

"We have saved your pride's members. But with your logic, I believe you would have rather have us watch and let all those we saved, burn. Burn in the prison of the same trees that were suppose to shelter you. The same trees of your ancestors. If the trees speak to you.... then where were you when your members and outpost needed you? Where were you for a year? Where were you!" Ami's words were sharp and thankfully her mother didn't hush her. No no, she dared not look her mother's way. She needed to be still and they both needed to trust each other. It was the only way they could move pass this leader with ease.

Speaking with the trees, made a council member chuckle and a subordinate laugh- and with one stomp and hiss from Katapatan, the rightpaw of the GodMother- they were silenced. Kata, should have been notified about the pride members but they were too late to be stopped. They had sent for the Ash to be escorted- but Athena had let her know that the Ash and the scouts were ahead of the pack even with the blindfolds. Truly this leader must have some connections, but it so no right to speak down to our GodMother. About their pride like this. He had some nerve. She was looking at each pair of foreign eyes. Waiting for a shift of eyes or aura to protect and evacuate the GodMother if anything were to happen. Although these days she seemed much more exhausted than usual. Kata's ears went up and were still as alert in her age now. Each Ambassador now was standing behind council members. Learning from the interaction that didn't seem to be going too well.

Bahija nodded to her GodMother, and Katapatan went up to alert Emi. Emi nodded and gave Bahija the floor. Taking a few steps forward so she could be seen.

"As Athena is not here to defend herself or her family's honor. I wish to speak."

"Granted."

"I am Bahija, protégé' of Athena. I worked closely with the survivors and those of the outpost. For the winter, the outpost was still shambles still, so without any exchange from our GodMother, she granted me many furs to bring to the pride without asking anything from the outpost survivors. There was an assault on the outpost during that winter, plundering from stormborns. 'We'- no 'Us' protected them. We were granted not only your own members but lions of our own protecting them. Your pride. We may not walk the same walk, like our leader said but we have protected your members countless times without asking anything in return, because Athena is well cherished here. Her and her brother are celebrated for their bravery and Athena for her leadership skills. She is the perfect teacher with a fine tuned moral compass. I am witness to both Athena and Kairos actions. They have not strayed far from the teachings of your lands. If you also keep to yourselves like this- your trees of your ancestors will become your own prison and you will be forced to breed with your own family to keep your lines, to keep members still tending to your teachings. If I may, I can speak of those countless efforts of your once members, but I believe everyone should speak for themselves. What I can say, is that -I- am simply an Ambassador. I am impartial- I seek only what we can all come together to achieve together. Now that you are here and can speak for your pride instead of Athena. Please. Tell us how we can help each other."
