Claiming the western territory of Tianxia for their own, the West House occupies a beautiful combination of sheer cliffs, dense canopied forests and a complex river network that swells with snowmelt each summer. Their savannahs and grasslands bloom to life in the spring, keeping their petals and fragrance throughout much of the year. This beauty serves as many of the muses the West House members use to create. Here, creativity thrives as patrons of the art aid in developing growing talents. Crafting, painting, performing, singing... there are many different manners and expressions of creativity, all of which are present in the West. With the plethora of talents and goods the House produces (and imports), it makes the strongest economical power in Tianxia.

The West House is represented by the element of metal, the season of autumn, and the color white. Their Cardinal Beast is the White Tiger.

Daily Life
For the majority of their days, the West live mundane lives with stretches of calm, which are punctuated by the sometimes explosively animated tendencies when exploring their creativity with oral ways. Plays, songs, and presentations can be quite jubilant, carrying for miles with the cheering and music played. However, as the sun sets, the merriment must as well as the cubs are put to bed. The latest performances that involve heavy use of vocals are one hour after sunset. Other, more quiet variations are allowed well into the night.

It is an extremely common sight to see the signature pale purple of the West's noble family mingling with the rest of the House. If only because of how many there are of them! They are some of the most well-known patrons the West has to offer, extending a welcome paw to aid in the flourishing of the art.

The end of the work day is signified by a single song, sung by bards throughout the House. Afterward, the House is allowed to mingle, their day complete.

The Autumn Festival
During the autumn equinox, the pride in its entirety (well, most of it!) will gather in the West House to celebrate all of the year's accomplishments, particularly in the arts. Feasting, demonstrations, parties, and performances carry on for over three days with the culmination of a grand show that is made of the year's greatest performers all coming together to display the greatest among them in one grand performance. Storytellers narrate epic tales displayed by actors wearing intricate designs and paints, while the voices of bards carry melodic tunes over the landscape created by the House. It is truly an endeavor that showcases the talents of all while requiring the aid of everyone to ensure its success.

Wedding Tradition
A traditional wedding practice is the exchanging of pieces of jewelry between the happy couple. These are normally either traded for with their own skillset or created by their own paws. It is poor taste to trade things you did not make yourself, one way or another.

Trading with Other Houses
As the primary producer of crafted goods within Tianxia, the West oftentimes will trade these items or even their own services in exchange for things they cannot obtain otherwise. Some of these things include guards from the North, teachers from the East, and healers from the South. Among flora or fauna grown only in certain locations or above a particular elevation.

The Bazaar
A loud market for merchants; domestic and foreign, to hawk their wares to members of Tianxia. It also doubles as a public meeting space, a place to find entertainment, and more. If it can be found in the West, it can be found here! Guards from the North patrol the Bazaar in pairs, walking the lanes to keep watch for rowdy drunks or brave thieves. Only during the Autumn Festival is the Bazaar open past dusk, offering visitors an experience like no other as the trees are painted and decorated with banners and chimes made of bone and shells.

The Dianhú
Known as the Drop and fed by the Zhuazi River from the north, the Dianhú is a small lake that is often used a romantic location, especially following Duke Zhong Jilie and the new Duchess Mei Mu's wedding at the location. The bordering forest offers a suitable amount of shade, providing the perfect respite during the warmer months. While Dianhú is surrounded on the western shores by cliffs that overlook the lake, its shores are more often muddy, often discouraging only by the rowdiest of cubs from approaching the water itself. Which is a good thing for the waterfowl that sometimes call the water home.

The Zhuazi River
Known as the Talon by the West, this large river runs northeast to southwest through a vast majority of the West's lands. It is the primary water source in the West, its tributaries feeding even lands outside of Tianxia control and occasionally streams heading to the North and South based on the snowmelt occuring.
