Crystal shook her head. “That’s not the only reason, as tempting as a fight was then. And still stupid. But the lower the amount of people who know about Ultra Space, other realities, and what they might cause, the better, especially when they’re one of the few constant people I’ve seen while reality hopping. Can’t even say I’m one of them.” One exasperated sigh would escape her before beginning to glow, seeming to take a little bit longer than what she had been previously. “Light, burn all it to slag… Let’s go!” With that cry, she’d slash a line through reality, pulling it open to make another Ultra Wormhole, though this one might have only been barely big enough to fit the group this time.
Without another word, the group would be brought through the wormhole, with Crystal closing it quickly once they were on the other side. “Hold on,” would be all she’d say at this point for a warning, taking off at a blazing speed for this leg of their journey. Meteors would flash by quickly, barely taking it in… Wait, was that another full glowing lion creature? Traveling with something that looked like a bat? As it was, it would have been hard to tell, with as fast as she was going. It almost looked like a miracle that she hadn’t run into anything. Eventually, she’d be slowing down, looking at the area before turning towards an open wormhole near a conspicuously slashed meteor. Their direction would shift towards that portal, blazing to it and entering without another word. She knew that no matter what, she’d be taking a long nap here. Whatever, she was getting tired and wanted to stop. Hopefully this was somewhere safe.

The trio would exit the wormhole and damn near crash into the other half of the meteorite, Crystal just barely stopping in time. “Why is this hole so close to the rock,” she’d ask, expecting a smart alec quip from Reno as she decided to turn quickly and close the door behind them one last time. Her glow died out almost immediately after they got back, too, with her light platform disappearing with it. The hybrid would lean back onto the meteorite and slide down it into a sitting position, looking around. “...Does this place look familiar to you two?”

With the attendants leaving for the day, the gym leader made his way back for his office and closed the door behind him. Before he would go to tend to the Pokémon that defends this gym, he had to once again recollect himself. Unfortunately, it was difficult. Three strangers from another world reopened a wound that never really healed. He leaned against the door and sighed out once again, his breath trembled in fury. He furiously rubbed his eyes with the base of the palms of his hands. He wanted to lash out at something, even if it was so much as the wall. However, his fury and power has been so enflamed that he’d easily break whatever he swung on. It was money that he didn’t have. An incident that he’d have to answer for to people who have been looking for excuses to further give him the shaft.
He stood there, leaning against the door for at least a good couple of moments then walked to the window, looking out to the view of the gym courtyards where the various Ice type Pokémon of the gym lounge about. Though many of them weren’t having much in the way of leisure. All of them took notice to the skies, as did he. Snow started to fall. He was doing that. It was a problem that he had for some time now. For the longest of time, he wanted this level of power. He wanted to protect. He wanted to make sure everything was safe. Unfortunately, this power came all too late, and even then…it wasn’t making anyone safe. Even on a good day, he barely had some semblance of control. It all culminated from something that he would know as his “greatest failure”.
He made his way over to his chair at his desk, and sat down. He leaned back, closed his eyes, trying to regain back his calm. He needed the snow to stop. He needed to quell the power. He looked towards a picture frame he had on his desk, a photo he took years ago within it. That longing he felt a short bit ago and the cold reality that he couldn’t get it. “Blast those three…” he said to himself. “And freeze eternal, Ein, for taking her…you b*****d.” He lightly batted his head against his chair then looked back to the picture. He reached over, pulling it close to him, looking at it. He and one that he loved dearly. One that was no longer with him by tragedy. Another harsh reminder and one that left him to question. He remembered how happy he was…but now as he thought about himself, what has transpired over the past year, over the past 20 minutes roughly…he could only shake his head. “What did you see in me, really?” he would ask. The frame then started to frost up in his hands, making him quickly drop it on the desk in a near panic. He didn’t want to ruin the picture or the frame. He looked at his hands then shoved them in his coat pockets. This isn’t what he wanted…
He perked up once again, turning in his chair, looking back out the window. A slight power spike. He was sensing at least one of those three again. The female. Then…it vanished. Did they leave? “Go to hell…” he silently said, turning back around away from the window.

Thankfully, almost as soon as the trio left the reality, Aden would finally feel the pressure fade. Like he'd just woken up from a nightmare, but he was fairly sure he hadn't fallen asleep. He hoped. He really didn't want to wake up and find himself back there, in whatever predicament everyone would be in for it. He'd try not to think about the reality being left to whatever fate befell it, not being used to such a thing or the idea that one might live long enough to actually see it. Though, it got easier when he saw the creatures as they screamed past, albeit too quickly to totally process it.
He'd almost forgotten about the other wormhole they thought about checking out until they happened to go through it, seeing the meteorite and looking around. "Er." He took out his SNAG and found it still had no signal to the main network, deciding to then take out the Time Flute he'd kept on hand the entire journey. Unlike before, he could feel the energy from it, something that wasn't holding true in the other realities. "Assuming this is the Silver Labyrinth, I think we somehow took a wormhole back home... wait. Where are the others, then? Tell me this doesn't mean they're off in some other reality. Or that they had to deal with that Kartana."
As he started for the exit at once, figuring to get out as quickly as possible and see if the SNAG would connect to anyone else, he'd suddenly stop as a chill ran down his spine. He looked around to make sure nothing or no one else followed them through the wormhole before it was closed, then shook his head. "...swear I felt that pressure all over again for a second. Think I'm still getting over the whole thing earlier."
