[Making a Contract]
The Tani'Ajiri make their living providing skills and services to those who can afford them. The pride is most commonly employed for their prowess in battle, especially by prides or small groups that don't want to risk their own members lives in times of conflict. Though many may consider the mercenaries as nothing more than thugs for hire, the Tani'Ajiri don't see it like that. They are simply providing a service, and they follow whatever instructions their employer has stipulated in the contact. Nothing more, nothing less. If the contract is to drive off invaders, then they will drive off the invaders by whatever means necessary, though not necessarily out of cruelty or a desire to inflict harm. They are simply following the orders of the contract, and very rarely will they kill anyone unless it is unavoidable or the contract specifically says to do so.
Any outsider wishing to hire the Tani'Ajiri will need to speak with The Face of the pride, Thayiga'Thunzi, to iron out their contract details as well as agree on a payment for services rendered. Payment is expected as soon as the contract is considered complete, and any defaulting or refusal to pay what is owed will be dealt with personally by The Boss, Siyo'Jini, who is not a forgiving sort. If payment is not handed over immediately, The Boss has been known to takes matters into his own claws and may attack, maim, or kill those who do not respect the Tani'Ajiri and their contracts. ((If refusal to pay is the route you would like to go, we will discuss all details before hand. Nothing will be done without your consent to do so.))
Those who seek to make a contract for themselves as rogues, may do so as they please. However, anyone wishing to make a contract for a pride will need to hold a rank of influence to do so. What does this mean? Well, this character will need to have the consent of their leader, and they themselves will need to have some sort of influence in their pride. Likewise, if its something that will affect an entire pride, than that pride's leader/pride owner will need to be involved and give their consent for the Tani'Ajiri's involvement. Other situations may come up, so feel free to ask and we can talk about it.
