========================= In a dark empty room, we see a TV Camera that's turned off.
Suddenly, a spark is shot from behind the Camera as its turned on then goes back from behind the wall, across the cords and to outside of the building, across the power poles of a neighborhood in the middle of the night, the spark works its way through the power poles then heads upward toward a satellite.
The spark reaches the satellite, the satellite is turned on & we see a montage of shows celebrating the most competitive form of entertainment.
