Typhlosion roared as the G-Max Finale rained creamy missiles upon it and then came the volley of Hidden Power. They had expected an all out assault but things weren't looking good with Alcremie consistently healing them both. Ethan was just thankful for the Special Defense boost from Max Quake, without it he doubted Typhlosion's ability to hang in there, especially after that hard hit from Espeon.

"We probably don't have much longer left, Typhlosion, but it's time to prepare for one last stand! Go! Use Max Flare and target Espeon!" Ethan called out.

Flaring its flames again Typhlosion would let out a prideful roar as it pointed its open maw up into the sky and the flames from its neck began to gather into an ever growing ball just above its open mouth. With the ball of fire now bigger than its own giant head the Volcano Pokemon would quickly throw its head down and point the ball of fire in Espeon's direction before snapping its jaws shut and cause the ball of flames to fly at the Psychic type at a violent speed. Upon contact with whatever the fireball would explode in all its fiery glory, not only igniting the entire grassy field aflame but also warming up the very sky its self as all clouds were banished above and the sunlight turned harsh.

"Brace yourselves!" Aden shouted at once, seeing the massive fireball headed for Espeon. Trying to mitigate that wasn't likely to do much, leaving him to hope the impact wouldn't be enough to take Espeon out. Regardless, keeping to a defensive wasn't going to work out- especially when Alcremie's form was bound to revert sooner or later. He'd stay in his tensed, braced pose until the attack seemed to clear, only to be greeted with the day becoming much brighter as the sunlight turned harsh. A shame he couldn't capitalize on it, but maybe Espeon could in some form if it came down to it...

"Alright, if these moves are max whatever, then a Tackle would be... what, Max Strike since it'd be like striking the opponent?" He mused aloud, Alcremie taking that as a close enough remark to a command as she outpoured energy into the ground. The area around Typhlosion would start to glow and spread into a spider web-like set of cracks, though the ground itself would be fine; the energy was just too much to stay in an exact spot. After a moment, a cry from Alcremie could be heard as the energy went off in a skyward burst and expended the last amounts of excess energy Alcremie had.

After the attack, Alcremie's form would rapidly shrink as she reverted to normal, looking confused as she tried to fully process what was going on for the last few minutes.

"That's all I've got, Tristen, make your next shot count!"

More power, though not proportional to their apparent size. Something Tristen would be reminded of. That being said...Max Flare still really freaking hurt. The massive fireball flashed upon impact, searing flames rushing across the field and the sunlight intensifying upon the battlefield. "This is just too much!" Tristen shouted. Being part of a battle like this made Tristen start to side with his father figure about certain things in Pokemon battles. However, this wasn't the time to lament. Tristen tried to make sense of the field once more, finally finding Espeon. The psychic type was pretty seared by the massive blaze and was in dire need of help.

Tristen realized that flare attack brought a sunny day like effect upon the battlefield. Espeon tend to know Morning Sun, just like Xatu did, but even aided by the sun, it wouldn't be a total recovery, and Tristen wasn't sure how much longer Typhlosion was able to maintain that colossal form. Aden would have other ideas. A Max Strike, bombarding the Typhlosion with this weird dynamax power. He needed to make the next attack count, Aden would tell him. The gravity of such a statement hit home when Tristen started to notice Alcremie reverting back to its normal size...and shape for that matter. He knew one way at least. "Espeon! Can you keep going!?"

Perhaps the only reason why Espeon was still standing right now was because of that recovery that Alcremie was providing with that profound attack in its own gigantic state. "Eon!" Espeon said, rather shakily. This. This was the last stand after all.

"Stored Power!" Tristen would once again command. He still had the power up from Alcremie. Still needed to use it while the getting was good. The Espeon rushed in to the Goliath of a Typhlosion, funneling the power which Alcremie provided and started to collect it before it.

"EON!" The Espeon would unleash the mighty blast once more in an attempt to bring this giant down.

The Max Strike slammed into Typhlosion, the giant beast letting out a pained roar as it began to sway slightly, the force of the blast nearly knocking it off its feet. Eventually it would regain its composure just in time to see Espeon going on the attack and Ethan immediately called out to his Pokemon who was now defiantly growling at Espeon, its flames burning brighter than ever.

"Go! Show the world what this kid from New Bark Town is capable of! Max Flare!" Ethan cried out to his Pokemon. He knew defeat was certain at this point but he had to at least go down swinging.

With a bestial roar Typhlosion would draw back, its flames surging to new heights its Blaze ability activated. Then, drawing from the sun, Typhlosion would create a firepower that was twice as big as the previous Max Flare, like a miniature sun hovering above the stadium, almost the entire audience forced to look away due to the sheer brightness of it. In one last act of defiance Typhlosion would let loose the Max Flare just as the blast of Psychic energy slammed into its very large chest, the beast stumbling backwards. Before Tristan or Aden could see the end result the Max Flare would hit and give off a massive explosion of flames that dwarf the last one easily. In fact, two Mr. Mime were teleported in and Light Screens thrown up to protect the trainers.

After it was all done and said the stadium temperature was raised several degrees, the ground was now scorched completely black, and once the smoke settled a knocked out Typhlosion of now normal size could be seen, the Volcano Pokemon only hoping it took someone down with it.

With a dejected sigh that quickly reverted into a smile Ethan would recall his Pokemon and immediately look to the ref.

"Ethan and Silver are out of available Pokemon! Victory goes to Tristan and Aden of Team Snagem!" The ref declared, the crowd breaking out into roaring applause and chants for Team Snagem. They made it through the first round.

"I apologize for Silver. Because of him we weren't able to give the two of you the battle you deserved here today. I at least hope I put up something of a fight." Ethan chuckled.

Tristen had to shield himself once again from the massive blast; perhaps the biggest this arena had seen in a long time. Aided by the stadium's Mr. Mime, both he and Aden had relative safety from the catastrophic power that was unleashed before everyone's eyes on the field. Tristen looked back after the damage was done, noting there was no longer a colossal Typhlosion on the field any longer, but instead, a normal one. Downed. And out for the count. Espeon had done it. But wait...

Tristen tried to find Espeon in the carnage once again, and eventually the Manetric hybrid found him. "Espeon!" Tristen shouted, rushing upon the field as the referee called victory for the Snagem's team. In Espeon's last stand, it too was brought out of commission by the Typhlosion's attack. It did get one on the way out after all. Tristen would then reach the Espeon, kneeling down to scoop the psychic Eevee evolution in his arms. There was hardly anything left of the decorative cream on the Espeon. What was left, if anything, was tiny specks, either congealed or burned, no longer giving Espeon power. Scorched from the massive blaze, burns and scrapes abound, this Pokemon had the fight of its life. "Espeon, Espeon, you did it."

Espeon's eyes wearily opened, looking up to Tristen. "E...eoon..."

"Thank you." Tristen said, giving a well deserved hug for this Espeon.

Tristen looked back, meeting back up with Ethan and Aden with the psychic Pokemon in his arms to give their 'good match' to each other. Though there was the giant Donphan in the room... "I'm sorry you had to have him as a partner. It didn't look like he really wanted to cooperate with you at all, where as we felt like we had to by all costs. He actually made getting him kicked out of the fight kinda easy. You, though...I really don't think I want to take you on one-on-one anytime soon..." he said, noting Ethan's and his Pokemon's resilience and vigilance in this battle. "Though either way, maybe next time we can have a battle on better terms."

"Gah!" Aden was quick to shield himself from the continued volley of Max Flares, the timely efforts from the stadium's Mr. Mimes mitigating a lot of the inherent danger he and Tristen were thrust into. Though he'd notice the increased temperature as well, it didn't bother him in the least; if anything, the slightly balmier environment was welcome for the moment.

"Yeah, I... let me apologize for Silver there too," he remarked after everything was said and done. "Apparent anger in the situation aside, he seemed really tense and too set on handling matters on his own. You did good out there, Ethan. Hopefully next time we have a chance to battle, Silver'll be in a better mindset about it."
