Aden was poised to send Wooloo out, expecting Silver's Feraligatr to go after him instead, but when he saw them go after Dragonite instead, he figured he'd have a few precious seconds to think and consider other options. All he'd need, really, though the whispering and devious looks from Ethan's Togekiss weren't terribly settling. With Tristen bringing out his Eevee, he felt he might have an idea on how to shore up an offensive. And give himself a crash course in a Pokemon he was still unfamiliar with.
"Alright, Alcremie, you're up!" He called out as took a different ball from his vest and tossed it, the immediate area taking on a slight minty scent as the Pokemon came out. Limited research was going to have to do. "Tristen, Eevee, just bear with me here! Alcremie, let's go for a little sprucing up! Decorate!"
Alcremie would take one look at Tristen's Eevee, trying to figure out how to make it look better in her eyes. Cuter. Maybe deadlier. A glint in her eyes could be seen as soon as she had an idea, coming up to Eevee and making a little top hat for him. Made of the same mint cream that made up Alcremie's body, and positively brimming with energy. With any luck, maybe it'd prove useful in some fashion.
She was about to try adding more to the look, but that was when Aden spoke up again. "That's enough, we do kind of have a battle here..." Dejected, she'd move in front of Aden, looking to the two arguably scarier opponents and wondering just what she was in for.

The Eevee was a bit confused as the Alcremie did its work, but as soon as the Pokemon was finished, it felt empowered. Practically super-charged in ways it never felt before. Even Tristen was a bit astonished the way Eevee was reacting to it. This might be what the both of them needed. Better still, the more that Silver attacks, the more Tristen was sure of it. Silver doesn't exactly play well with others. Ethan apparently has given up on Silver as well. If both Aden's Pokemon and Eevee could minimize the damage, perhaps they could single out Silver for good and bring this battle to an end. The Feraligator, however, did seem to be on the formidable side. Not to mention, it'd depend on just what Alcremie had as well.
With the Feraligator on the attack; it almost as looked as there was no going to be avoiding it. Silver is really focused on trying to single Tristen out for some reason. Was Silver trying to goad Tristen? Unfortunately for Silver, Tristen was at least familiar with such a stunt. Tristen needed Alcremie to stay around and hope Alcremie had a few more tricks up its sleeve to keep the screws to Silver and Ethan. What to do then? Hit Silver where it apparently hurts the worst. His pride. How? Shirk off Silver as a non-factor...which to be fair seems to be the case with his conduct. "Eevee, go after Togekiss! Cover Alcremie! Body Slam!"
"EVUUII!!" Eevee shouted, making a hard, fast running start, empowered by the power bestowed by the Alcremie and its adaptable state, and made a hard, full body charge right for the Togekiss, averting the Aqua Tail as it slammed fiercely into the ground. Eevee rushes into the slicing gale aimed for the Alcremie, perhaps taking the brunt of the blow and rushes to ram right into the Togekiss.
"Aden, Eevee and I will try to cover Alcremie. Do what you can!" Tristen shouted.

"I don't know, I've seen what playing dress up can do," Aden remarked. Having some familiarity thanks to frantic searching on his SNAG and that hybrid from the days before did have its percs. Hearing Ethan's command reminded him to keep his thoughts on the battle, though.
"Alcremie, brace- ...yourself...?" Though she was quick to tense up- about as much as a body of whipped cream would allow- she and Aden were a little surprised to see Eevee take most of the Air Slash. It wasn't a clean block; it would still hit Alcremie too, but not with the expected severity. "Huh. If you're handling the front, I'll work from the back lines, then. Alcremie, Dazzling Gleam!"
Shielding his eyes from the oncoming flash, Alcremie would let loose a bundle of light from around herself, sending a surge of fairy energy at Feraligatr and Togekiss.

Silver was taken aback as Eevee dodged and instead of coming at its assailant went for Togekiss, the tiny creature slamming into Togekiss, taking even it by surprise. The little fox packed a surprising punch as the Togekiss tumbled backwards in the sky and took some time to right its self. Must have been that boost it got from that Alcremie.
Before Togekiss or Feraligatr could do much else the bright flash of Dazzling Gleam went off, causing them both to wince. Once the flash was over Feraligatr would resume snarling at Eevee, and from the looks of its trainer's glare it wasn't too happy with the fox, nor its trainer, as well.
"Cute. Very cute. Feraligatr, let's see them dodge this and save their little friend. Aqua Jet." Silver coldly ordered. With a roar the Feraligatr leaped off the ground and a surge of water formed around him and exploded outward behind him like a rocket's propulsion, sending it on a violent collision course for Eevee.
"But Silver, this one is their support...it's no good. Togekiss, hit Alcremie with Extremespeed, take it up." Ethan ordered. With a coo Togekiss would disappear in a flash, only reappearing as it rammed head first into Alcremie and gripped it with its feet as it made a sharp ninety degree turn straight up into the air with Alcremie in tow. The goal was clear; keep them apart.
(If 1-3, Togekiss is paralyzed.)

"Oh no...Eevee, try to-" Tristen couldn't get a word out fast enough. The Aqua Jet smashes right into the Eevee, leaving the Togekiss uncontested to smash right into the Alcremie. Tristen was really dependent on keeping Alcremie up and running this entire time and Silver was still completely bent on trying to single out Eevee. Eevee shook its head, trying to shake the damage, but unfortunately, was being easier said. Feraligator was a brute, tried and true. The fact that Eevee stood up to such competition was only thanks to Alcremie.
With the Eevee's back to the proverbial corner; it was refusing to back down. "Eevee!" Tristen shouted.
"EVUII!" Right before Silver would be able to command his finishing blow, Eevee glowed fiercely upon the battlefield. Tristen's eyes went wide. Was was going on with Eevee? Was what was happening he thought happening? With the glow dying down, Tristen's suspicions was confirmed. "Eoooooo!" Standing before, a bit bigger, sleeker, tail forked at the end, and eyes deep as the galaxy, Eevee evolved into Espeon. Although, he was a little uncanny looking with Alcremie's decorative cream still being on the Pokemon.
Tristen couldn't believe it. Of all the time to do this. He never imagined Eevee taking the initiative like this; Tristen honestly was unsure himself. But then, perhaps it was better for the Pokemon to decide where it's life goes. He was fine with this. Tristen was also prepared for this: in trying to debate to himself what each of the Eevee Evolutions could pull off, he studied up on what each could do. "Espeon! Stored Power!" Tristen shouted.
With the Alcremie's power boost, the Espeon howled and unleashed a mighty blast upon the Feraligator. Payback is a b*****d.

Alcremie wouldn't have any real chance to ready herself for what was coming, getting blindsided by Togekiss' blinding pace. She did kind of stick to Togekiss as the Extreme Speed attack hit, but inertia was bound to change that in a matter of seconds, especially if Togekiss simply stopped moving. Aden was fast on the upkeep and had an idea, but he'd have to hope Alcremie was fast enough and able to keep up. "I'd say Togekiss is a little too close for comfort, but you know? I think that's right where I want them," he responded, giving a confident smirk. At this point, it was little more than a gambit and he didn't have much of a response if it didn't work.
"Alcremie, while you're still on them! Draining Kiss!" Having a body of whipped cream did have its percs for the moment, giving her a chance to attempt the life-draining retaliation.

Silver began to grind his teeth as he heard the command. He was an excellent trainer, perhaps one of the best, and while he was quick to anger and had often times questionable methods, perhaps the traits that keep him from victory, he knew good and well this was it for his Feraligatr. Already having his Pokemon's ball out he just watched with a scowl as the powerful Psychic energy engulfed his Water Pokemon in an explosive display of pink and purple energy. The moment he could see his Pokemon he recalled the Pokemon.
"Silver is out of usable er...Pokemon..." Referee started to say but Silver had already began to walk off the field, Ethan watching him with disappointment. It was no good, he knew by now, this was just how Silver was and he had a battle to finish.
Togekiss began to cry out in shock and disgust as the face leach that was Alcremie locked lips and began to sap away its energy. It tasted good too, like sweet creme...what flavor was that? Mint? Fresh breath was never so gross! And why did it taste good!? That made it worse.
"If it wants to ride then let it! Sky Attack on Espeon!" Ethan cried out. With Togekiss already high in the air the Pokemon would return and let its self drop down towards Espeon, the Togekiss becoming engulf in Flying energy before the energy began to ignite like fire as it prepared for impact. Alcremie could probably let go but it would have a nasty collision with the ground already, most importantly Ethan wants to take that super powered Espeon out now while it still had something of a chance.

While there was a cursory thought of trying to let go and let gravity do its worst, Alcremie would discover that inertia was a right pain and actually doing so wasn't exactly in the cards right now. She'd have little choice but to hold on.
"You mean the Wishing Star? Yeah, I've got it. Whatever you've got in mind, go... for it... huh." Realizing he didn't have time to finish that sentence after all, he'd find Alcremie suddenly on the ground and sliding quite a bit forward since teleportation didn't necessarily stop momentum. But quickly recalling her would, with the Challenger Band starting to charge up as Alcremie was brought back into the ball. Almost as soon as she was, the charged energy would leave the band and converge on the ball, causing it to glow and expand to something more reminiscent of a beach ball with much more weight behind it.
The sudden combination was enough to make Aden have to grab it in both hands, tossing it upward and kicking it behind him- something he'd regret roughly ten seconds later- to send Alcremie back out. Only this time, she was now big enough to tower over everyone else on the pitch, creamier, mintier. And... a cake? What? The smile on her face did nothing to soothe the dreadful, deep cry she let out right before, either. "Nothing personal, Ethan, but it's go big or go home, and we plan to go big! Alcremie, let's see a Dazzling Gleam from you now! Also, ow my foot."
What'd come wasn't quite the flash of fairy energy he was expecting, but instead something closer to a fairy-fueled set of whipped cream meteors, crashing upon the field and trying to land in Togekiss' vicinity. Tristen's Espeon was bound to be hit by the attack too, but Aden would be surprised if that wasn't already factored into the plan. What might be odder is that for Espeon, it'd be more refreshing than harmful. Still very minty, though.
"I'll, uh, just stay here. Away from those," he remarked to himself, looking behind himself to see that Alcremie was pleased with herself, especially as the field became saturated in fairy energy one way or another. Her form would finally register in his mind too, prompting him to ask himself, "...wait, you're a cake now?"

Togekiss's eyes went wide as Espeon replaced Alcremie, confused over what exactly just happened but realizing immediately this was not a good turn of events but alas it had no time to do anything about it, nor did Ethan. Speaking of the boy perked up as Aden spoke and nodded quietly, he respected Aden's resolve, he would do the same thing. In that same moment though Alcremie disappeared a second time and reappeared in the form of a towering cake, both Togekiss and Ethan gazing upon it with a look of shock, confusion, and hunger.
However Alcremie was anything but a tasty treat, in fact it was a painful one, a very painful one. The whipped cream meteors would come crashing down upon Togekiss right after impact and recoil from the Sky Attack, Togekiss knocked around back and forth by what looked like delicious cream when it fact it was freshly whipped suffering.
By the time it was over Togekiss was knocked out on the ground, covered in cream and smelling like mint. Ethan didn't know what to feel in this moment, all he knew was however this battle ended he was going to go get some mint ice cream. Ignoring that thought for now he recalled his Pokemon and took out his third and final Pokeball.
"I think it's clear where the rest of this battle is going but I still have people back in New Bark Town cheering me on and I can't let them down!" Ethan said as Dynamax energy came out of his Challenger's Band and was absorbed by the Pokeball in his hand, making it much larger as he held it up on his palm. "Can't think of a more fitting way to go out than this. Typhlosion! Dynamax!" The boy cried out as he hurled the ball high into the air.
The device would burst open and release from inside the ever growing Volcano Pokemon, Typhlosion. With a fierce shout the Dynamaxed Typhlosion would flare its neck flames and stare down Alcremie, sensing its trainer's urgency and ready to give it everything it had for him. "Max Quake! Target Alcremie!" The trainer from New Bark Town commanded.
With a snarl Typhlosion would charge up Dynamax energy and then stomp with one foot, then the other, shaking the ground, before leaning over and roaring at Alcremie as its flames flared up and a tremendous surge of Ground energy was unleashed into the ground, the energy rushing towards Alcremie as it violently ripped up the ground, throwing chunks of earth all over the place. While Espeon wasn't being targeted it was still at a very high risk of 'splash damage' as chunks of earth bigger than it were flying around. Fortunately the crowd was protected by a Protect dome. Once it was all over Typhlosion was feeling 'spiritually' sturdier as its Special Defense was raised.

With the Togekiss taken out in...a fashion that was spectacular as it was extraordinarily odd, Tristen sighed out in relief. Though, the thing that made him realize, Espeon was caught up in the attack. Fortunately, Espeon was no worse for wear. In fact, because of the weird Dynamax attack, Espeon...is feeling a bit better. Only in the "aspirin for a headache" sort of way, though. Nothing spectacular, just...relieved. Perhaps that attack had a bit of healing effect for the user's allies? Tristen could only speculate. All of that would then take a back seat when Tristen started to realize... "...Alcremie is a cake." Tristen said, head-tilting to the sort of situation as that. There was a reason Obvious was a captain.
Trying to gather his senses from the last twenty or so seconds got expedited when the realization came that Ethan had one final Pokemon. The good news was that it was a Typhlosion. He very well knew how they tend to tick; the Snagem team's teacher has one himself'. Unfortunately, Tristen realized one other thing...Dynamaxing goes both ways. Ethan got Typhlosion to tower over everything as well, ready to stand off against Alcremie. Tristen could only grit his teeth in a bit of shock because in the mental top-decking, he honestly didn't take that into consideration. And he didn't know what else Alcremie could do. That fairy attack that finished off Togekiss probably wasn't going to do a whole lot to Typhlosion and although Espeon was still powered up, Tristen had to question Espeon's assault power against the likes of a Dynamax'd Pokemon.
With Ethan's attack call, Tristen could only imagine the outrageous damage that was going to cause. "Espeon! Get clear!" Tristen shouted. The Espeon rushed off, trying to get away from Alcremie. This wasn't a fight that Espeon could afford getting between. Tristen had to brace himself as the Max Quake blasted the Alcremie; wave of power rushing around and carried Espeon a fair ways as well.
Espeon fortunately was okay. Ethan was making his last stand, however, and Tristen couldn't afford to lose Espeon. Doing so would resort him going to Wimpod and that would probably spell the end of their chances. "I'm open to ideas." Tristen said to Aden, teeth still gritted a bit in worry.

"Max Quake, though... suddenly, this explains why Dazzling Gleam looked so different. I'll bet that was an Earthquake just now. Tristen, if you can mount an assault with Espeon, I can keep both of us up if that attack from Alcremie's doing what I think it's doing. Probably won't be doing much damage to Typhlosion like this, though... whatever that Max Quake did, it feels like it's adding to their defenses."
Turning his head to look at Alcremie, he'd give his current plan a shot. "Alcremie, I don't know what you did offhand, but keep doing that!" Thankfully taking that as 'fire more whipped cream missiles,' Alcremie would send another volley into the air, this time crashing around Typhlosion. With any luck, perhaps the better play was to keep a defensive to keep her and Espeon fighting.

"Espeon, move in!" Tristen shouted. As the whipped cream comets came down and started to wash over Espeon. Once again, Espeon started to feel relief once more. "Hidden Power!" Tristen would then shout. As the Espeon rushed for its colossal target, orbs started to come from the Espeon, the energy converting into a more ethereal, ghostly form then was finally launched off towards the Typhlosion. |
