It might have been wet and rainy, but lesson's weren't going to be delayed. Khamaith's clutch was growing steadily, and Liat was pleased with their development. Between Esurienth's spring clutch, and Khamaith's summer, Western had been blessed with new life. This may have kept Liat and her assistants all on their toes, but the blue rider was determined to ensure they all had the best future.

Today, though, she had decided to get the weyrlings outside and moving. A dragonrider had to be prepared to go out in any type of weather to aid the people of Pern, and a bit of rain never hurt anyone. They had all been given clothing appropriate for such rough weather, and she expected them to wear it.

Ordering the Weyrlings outside (and into their heavier, rain-appropriate gear) Liat waited next to Orioth.

"All right, Weyrlings--time to burn some of this energy. I want you in tip-top-shape by the time you graduate! We've been working on your stamina, along with your dragons. I want you to make your way around the weyrlake and then down to the beach! Your dragons can run ahead if they wish, or run with you. Regardless, make sure you're supporting one another! If you need to walk, do so, but I want you push yourself!

"Those who get to the beach first can have their dragons tussle or work on their wing muscles. Riders, we've left some bags down there--we need you to start packing sand in case these rains don't stop and more flooding occurs."

With that said, Liat made sure the weyrlings did a few stretches, before giving them the go ahead. It might be slick, but the earth was soft. Both dragon and rider would wind up dirty and soaked, but discomfort was part of dragon riding. The Weyrlake would no doubt be full of dragons getting scrubbed later on in the afternoon.

The Grids
You will roll your rider 3 times for each grid (First, Middle, End). You will roll your dragon 1 time for each grid (First, Middle, End).
You must write/RP a reply to the prompt before rolling again!

Please roll from these grids to find out just how well your weyrling does during the big weyrlake race! It isn't really a competition, but weyrlings (and dragonriders in general) always seem up for a good competition--and these runs are no exception!

You must fill out a post/prompt before rolling again!! You can edit/adjust the prompt a little bit if you want some variety, but it should generally follow a similar outcome. :3 Additionally, when rolling for a weyrling (rider or dragon), you should do it in the thread, and choose only those who have participated/are participating. This will hopefully allow for some future group activity/plotting.

First, you should find out what sort of shape your Weyrling Rider happens to be in, as it might affect the outcome. Remember, it isn't always size or weight that determines how fit they happen to be. If your weyrling isn't known to work-out or only exercises when forced into it, then they might use one of the other grids. Likewise, characters who are heavier might have more stamina and fitness if they've really latched onto their new, active lifestyle. Use your best judgment!

This has to do with the rider, not the dragon!

Fit / In Great Shape
Characters who go out of their way to keep themselves fit. Characters who, since Impression, have really gone all-in on the exercise routines. They exercise and train above and beyond what Liat assigns them to. They're the sort who might well get upset about missing a day's workout.

Average / So-So Shape
Characters who exercise when Liat assigns them to it, and used to keep themselves in shape before weyrling training. They're not unaccustomed to it, but certainly don't go far out of their way to do it. Missing a run doesn't upset them.

Poor / What's Exercise?
Character's who don't have a history of keeping themselves in shape. Exercising outside of weyrling training or exercising for fun is a foreign concept. They aren't too worried about exercising at all outside of what Liat assigns them.

Once your weyrling is assigned a fitness type, you can take them to the races! There is a dragon grid at the bottom, which you can roll for ONCE during the first, middle, and end of the race. (So a total of 3 times.)

Some of these prompts require quoting of the weyrling above you. IF THE RP STALLS and you keep having to quote the same weyrling over and over again with your rolls, after the first quote you are allowed to roll from ALL weyrlings present and playing. Doesn't matter if they finished their rolls or not. Please try to roll only from the weyrlings who have posted so as to be fair to the group.

Quote:

First Leg of the Run
Roll a D-10.
1. You fall right into a puddle. You're not even sure what caused you to slip, but you are wet and muddy now. Gross! [-1 Point] (If you roll this a second time in any of the prompts, you find mud going into cracks you weren't even aware you had Eww!. [-1 Point] If you roll this a third time, you're going to catch a cold come the next morning! [-1 Point]
Roll a D4 and see how bad it is:
  1. Not too bad, just a bit stuffed up.
  2. You've got a fever and will be out the next two days.
  3. You're feeling groggy and your throat is sore, but what's worse is the snot. Snot is running out of your nose all day, everyday for the next sevenday. Ew..
  4. You're put in the infirmary for a few days due to the high fever. Some luck! Randomize two fellow weyrlings to ensure your baby dragon gets fed, washed, and cared for while you're down. (This must be public and must include all weyrlings participating in the game! Do not only choose your friends!)

If you roll this more than 3 times, you'll just be all the more muddy, wet, and gross. Ew.

2-3. You start off strong, feeling very good about this run. This Weyr Lake isn't that big, right? Look at you, passing everyone by. [+3 Points] If you're in Great Shape, add another point because it's smooth sailing from here. Look at how awesome you look, taking the lead. [+1 Point]

4-5. You're not fooled by the size of the Weyr Lake. You know it's deceptively large, and is a lot wider than it seems. You pace yourself, knowing full well this is going to be all about stamina and the long haul. [+2 Point] If you're in Average Shape, go ahead and add one more point, because you're definitely on the right train of thought! [+1 Point]

6-7. This. Sucks. Not only are you wet and cold but running? Really? You've only just begun and already you're panting for breath. You can tell this is going to be a very long run--and even if you're known to be a runner, for some reason, you're just not felling it. [+1 Point] If you're in Poor Shape, add another point, because you know when to listen to your body, and not push it. And right now, it does not want to be pushed. [+1 Point]

8-9. You're just running. It's wet, and you're cold, and neither pleased nor displeased by all of this. At least the Weyr Lake is pretty in the rain. [+1 point]

10. Ouch! One of the weyrlings, in their excitement, winds up flapping their wings and causing you to trip! The young dragon doesn't seem to realize what happened, and keeps running--but your own dragon might have something to say about it! :V
Randomize an active Weyrling to see which Weyrling it was! (Only choose those that are participating in the game!) In the meantime, roll a D4 to see what happens.
    1. You manage to catch yourself, but do wind up a good bit more muddy.
2-3. You lose your balance, and tumble right into a fellow weyrling. Quote the player above your roll (or the first player that isn't you), and let them know you both wind up tripping into the sand. (-1 point each -- it doesn't matter if you're using different grids.)
    4. You actually fall, and in your attempt to catch yourself, hit the ground hard. Picking yourself back up, your wrist is sore--better watch it to see if it gets better or worse. Ouch.

Quote:

Middle Leg of the Run
Roll a D-10

1. You thought you were doing well, but an errant weyrling winds up running right into you! While you're certainly not trampled, both rider and dragonet wind up tangled and muddy! Randomize Publicy an Active Weyrling to see which Weyrling was the offender and quote them so they know!! (Only choose those that are participating in the game!) Then roll a D-4 and see what happens!
    1. You're not too bad off. A few small bruises, but nothing you can't shake off--even if that was a close call!
    2. Ouch! You banged yourself up pretty good! You'll be sporting one heck of a black-and-blue bruise that smarts.
    3. You wind up getting pushed to one side and right into the actual weyrlake! Water is now soaking right into your clothes and you feel quite uncomfortable and cold. Ugh. Your temper is also gone and you have no more spoons--you'll be irritable the rest of the afternoon.
    4. You fall and twist or pull some muscle. By the time you pull yourself up, you can tell something isn't quite right. Roll a D4 again. Odds you really jacked something up, and will be out the rest of the game. You must be taken to the healers by a fellow Assistant Weyrlingmaster and are out the rest of the game. (You will also be out at least a sevenday healing, and might be held up longer. If it's a break or a bad sprain, this could affect when you graduate, do first flight, etc. Up to you if you want it that bad or just a sevenday off.) Evens you'll be limping the rest of the run, but can carry on--even if you're in a foul mood due to pain.

2-3. Halfway through! At least, you think you're about halfway through. You're really getting winded now, and it is very tempting to slow down or stop. Still, you push on. You're getting close to the feeding pens--and need to encourage your dragon to keep running so they don't stop and scare the herdbeasts. If you feel a little hungry, and the herdbeasts look a little tasty, you know fully that's just your dragon's doing! [+1 point]

4-5. You're struggling. The Weyr Lake seems never ending. Slow and steady wins the race, and while you might slow down your speed--or slip into a bit of a walk--you know this is best. Nothing wrong with taking a little breather. [+2 point] If you're athletic ability is poor, gain an extra point for listening to the needs of your body. [+1 point]

6-7. You're running hard. The sooner this is over, the sooner you can rest... or at least start packing sand. Unfortunately, you step right into a puddle, that was much deeper than it looked, and find yourself up to the knee in wet.
Horrible just... Horrible. [+1 point] If you're the active sort, you're not quite as bothered. A little resistance is good for the muscles, right? Take an extra point. [+1 point]

8-9. Keep on, keeping on. As you run, you're doing your best to pace yourself. You're panting and breathing hard, but know you're stronger and more capable than you think! Your dragon sends you some positive encouragement, keeping your mind on the task at hand. [+3 point] If you're of Average fitness, take an extra point for staying the course. [+1 point]

10. You fall right into a puddle. You're not even sure what caused you to slip, but you are wet and muddy now. Gross! (If you roll this a second time in any of the prompts, you find mud going into cracks you weren't even aware you had Eww!. If you roll this a third time, you're going to catch a cold come the next morning!
Final Stretch
Roll a D-10
1. You fall right into a large puddle. You're not even sure what caused you to slip, but you are wet and muddy now. Gross! (If you roll this a second time in any of the prompts, you find mud going into cracks you weren't even aware you had Eww!. If you roll this a third time, you're going to catch a cold come the next morning!
Do not only choose your friends!

If you roll this more than 3 times, you'll just be all the more muddy, wet, and gross. Ew.

2-3. You were born to run! At least, that's how you're feeling. You're not sure how but you find yourself feeling the need to sprint. Now's the time, right? The end is right there. Let's give it our all and sprint as fast as we can! [+2 Points] If you're of an Active fitness level, sprinting comes naturally. Gain an extra point. [+1 active]

4-5. You can see the end is in sight. You've almost made it! If you can just find some way to push on! Thankfully, your dragon sends all the support, comfort, and encouragement you need. With a surge of adrenaline, you make it down to the beach water, stumbling as you past along. [+3 points] If you're in Poor Shape, gain an extra point form sheer willpower (and dragon's encouragement) [+1]

6-7. You might have been going on along with a steady clip, but you're feeling the burn now. Your chest is tight, you're gasping for air, but the end is so close. The sooner you're over, the better. Unfortunately, your body seems to give out near the end. You drop into a walk, or stop completely as you gasp for breath. Your dragon and Orioth croon encouragement, even as you strive to keep on moving. [+1 Point] If you're of Average fitness, earn an extra point since it's easier to recuperate and recover. Time to get moving to finish this up! [+1 Point]

8-9. Just keep going. The beach is right there! Ugh. You're tired, sweaty, wet, and thirsty. Surely, you can cross that finish line without incident, right? Roll a D4. Odds, you find yourself hit with a weyrling dragons tail! Which weyrling? The Weyrling who posted above you (or the first person above you other than yourself). The tail takes you out and sends you tumbling into a heap. Whether or not there's any minor damage is up to you--but you're sure going to be smarting as you limp to the finish line. [-4 points] Evens, you're able to duck away in time, though it was awfully close. Watch where you're going, road hog! :V [+2 points]

10. You want to win! You want to win! You don't care what it's going to take you want to be the first one there! You do see a shortcut, and are certain Liat and Orioth are too far back to notice. Do you choose to stay the course or try to cut ahead! If you stay the course, gain [+2 points]. If you choose the shortcut, roll a D4.
    1. One of the weyrling spots you, and tells Orioth, who immediately summons you to return. And he doesn't sound pleased. While you're not sure if you're going to get in trouble, but you probably do feel a good bit of shame. And your fellow weyrlings certainly noticed. [-5 points] Randomize an active Weyrling to see which Weyrling tattled! (Only choose those that are participating in the game!)
2-3. You wind up taking the short cut, and while you're unsure if your fellow weyrlings are going to tattle or not, you wind up tripping over a few stones and some hidden driftwood. Ugh. While you return to the race looking sandier than ever, you think you wound up shaving off an extra minute or two. [+ 2 points]
    4. You take the short cut and, cleverly, wind up missing any debris in your way. You might be cheating, but is anyone really going to care? Instead, you wind up coming out well ahead from where you were--and all the closer to the finish. Haha...clever girl. (Or boy.) [+5 points]

At the end of the race, tall up your points, for a total number. These points can positive or negative. The Weyrling with the most points (that is not KO'd) will have won the race, or at least been the first to the beach.

Dragon Grids
Your weyrlings will also be running! You may roll separate dice ONCE per grid to see how they're doing in the race. You are allowed to fill in the prompts yourself, but you must follow the directions with what they roll! Think of them as being a bit of a wild card.

Quote:

1. Your dragon does not want to do this. Nope. Perhaps they're just distracted, perhaps they're feeling lazy, they actually sit down and start to curl up. Unfortunately, your rider has to try to urge them to go--which means they have to pause in their own jog to get their dragonet going. [-5 points]

2-3
. Oh, look at all those handsome clutchmates! Your dragon seems more interested in trailing behind than putting in much effort. There are cute boys (or girls, or both) to admire, after all. And that one in particular has suddenly caught your dragons eye. Quote the Weyrling dragon above you so you can spend a little time gazing at their fine tail, and send them a bit of personal encouragement. [+1 Point]

4-5 Your dragon is flapping and jumping and rolling and tripping. They have so much pent up energy they wind up hardly knowing which way to run. Sometimes it's ahead of the pack, sometimes they turn around and run back at their fellows, honking and generally having a green-eyed good time. While they're noisy, and possibly a road hazard, they (thankfully) wind up avoid running over anything more than sand and puddles.

6-7. Your dragon is running fas as he or she can! In their excitement, they wind up pushing over one of their fellow clutchmates and trample right over them. Ouch! Quote the weyrling above you and let them know their fate. It's very possible the offending dragonet might want to retaliate! Rawr! [-1 point]

8-9. Your dragon is too distracted by puddles to want to race. Quote the weyrling above you, and start splashing them with mud and water. This does wind up affecting both your own rider and the fellow weyrling. Your rider might be upset (or distracted) and the weyrling you just splashed might be feeling irate, or some other emotion. You're all even more soaked. Boo. [You both lose -2 points]

10. Your dragon is full of encouragement! In his or her excitement, they send you very loud and very vocal support. To earn this, have your dragon post a VERY public, and very sincere, encouragement. If some of the fellow weyrlings feel a little overly-fond of yours now, it's entirely your dragons fault (and the effect will wear off by the end of the day). [+3 Points]

R'in of Bronze Demodeth

Normally R'in enjoyed autumn at Western, but the rain this year was turning a beautiful season into a chilly, uncomfortable experience. Even with his heavier gear, his hands and feet remained stiff and cold.

The sooner we start, the sooner this will all be over. The fact that Demodeth was anxious to begin only served to emphasize R'in's point. The activity will warm us up as well. Exactly.

The pair hurried to get going once they were given the okay (after mental boops from Alenciath, of course), and in an effort to speed up, the bronze's wings flapped rather abruptly, sending a couple of unannounced gusts of air to hit those who followed. Demodeth didn't notice, at least not yet.

Aerden and Blue Tianxiath
Fit/In Great Shape
1/3 first leg
Points: 4

The rain was certainly altering the routines some... but that didn't mean that Weyrling lessons came to an end. Having dressed appropriately, Aerden stood patiently outside with Tianxiath right at his side. The blue was considerably less fond of the rain and muck, eyeing it all with a long-suffering sort of air. His mood did not improve when he realized what Liat was saying. Race? In this weather? Why bother? It wasn't even like he could find a nice warm pile of sand to burrow into...

Aerden slapped Tianxiath's leg affectionately, already aware of his dragon's lack of enthusiasm. "You might enjoy yourself." He pointed out, stretching carefully in hopes of avoiding any pulled muscles. The elements might be against them today, but that just meant they'd need to be careful. One couldn't expect perfect conditions, especially during Thread.

And you might decide that you deserve to spoil yourself one day. The dragon snorted, but his comment was light-hearted. He wasn't one to get all worked up. If they had to run, at least they'd be the most attractive ones out there...

Aerden set off without hesitation, keeping a steady pace while minding his footing. So far, so good. Then again, this kind of activity wasn't unusual for him, and it was nice to clear one's head and just... run for a while.

R'thell and green Triesteth
First Leg
1. 10 - Demodeth winglfap failure - Fall - Sore Wrist (ruh-roh) 0 points
2.
3.
4. (Triesteth's roll)

It was wet and rainy but the red-haired weyrling wasn't going to argue about the day's activity. Running wasn't his favorite thing to do, per say, but it wasn't bad exercise, either. Growing up in the plains of Keroon, R'thell knew how important it was to keep oneself in shape--and after D'zol, he had found new reasons to work-out and try to keep himself in shape. Thankfully, it would all pay off.

Triesteth, the little green butterball that she was, felt a little less inclined but had no desire to put up a fuss or argue. At minimum, she would be more than happy to watch her fellows run, and would do her best to keep up with Hers. She crooned appreciatively at her clutchmates, eyes whirling a soft blue-green. Are you ready, Mine?

R'thell had only begun when something pushed him right over. He hardly had begun, and already found himself in the mud. Oh for Faranth's sake. His breath was momentarily knocked out of him, and Triesteth immediately paused in her own run. Eyes yellow, she gave a croon, leaning down to nudge gently at him with her nose. Are you okay? Are you hurt? She did turn to look towards Demodeth, unsure if her larger brother knew what had happeend.

Or had it been Tianxiath?

Well... Her main concern was Hers, and any hint of red immediately disappeared as she helped steady hers up.

"Yeah, yeah--I'm all right. A little muddy, but okay!" If his right wrist was sore, he wasn't going to mention it. Surely, it was just a little tender, and by the end of the race would be all right. Wouldn't it?

The rain and cold could take their toll on anyone, and Niviora knew that quite well. She'd been eyeing the Weyrlake as Liat had talked, her hand idly resting against Sauzath's warm hide. Pacing would have to be key to not burn herself out -- or worse, take a spill and make an outright fool of herself.

And you wont. The green takes a primary sniff, and instantly snorting as water tried to go up her nose. Bleh. Ordinarily, Sauzath would appreciate dragons in their finest forms, accented by the sheens of rain. But the rain was cold, and the mud even colder, and she was absolutely missing the warmth of the barracks. Alenciath's wave of affection is met with equal affection and delight. Surely you'll be running multiple laps by the time we all finish, darling.

"Shall we?" She started at an easy jog, Sauzath keeping pace fairly easily -- and it takes Niviora a moment to realize she was keeping up with her growing dragon. Ha.

Nashwa and Gold Ilaorunth
Fit / In Great Shape
First Leg 1/3
Points: 0

To say that Ilaorunth had not been enjoying the weather of late was an understatement. She wanted sun, and warmth! With all these gray skies instead of sunshine, how was she to sunbathe properly? How was her hide supposed to catch the light? And then there was the mud, and the squelching! No, she was quite over all of this, and as such was most displeased when told of their task for the day. She'd have found something to enjoy about a race on a better day, but in the rain and mud? She'd surely look dreadful by the time they were finished.

I can think of a thousand things I would rather do, she griped to Tianxiath, after her complaints to Hers fell on deaf ears, and Nashwa was ready to all but shove her into starting - though she was well large enough now that it was nothing but a token gesture. What did help was the sunny encouragement from Alenciath. Ilaorunth crooned sweetly to her energetic green sister, and knowing in spite of her disdain for the task that there was no getting around it, set off...albeit not at an especially hurried pace. It will have to be a very, very good bath to make up for this, she responded.

With her dragon finally moving, Nashwa set off as well, and at a much better clip to try to make up for the time Ilaorunth's hesitation had cost them. Unfortunately, she had to fight the mud, and it wasn't long at all before she slipped and fell directly into a puddle. After muttering something colorful, the young woman heaved herself up out of the mud, shook it off, and got going again.

No time to dwell on how utterly gross that was.

If you roll this a third time, you're going to catch a cold come the next morning

Fahn and Alenciath
Fit/Active/In Gr8 Shape
1/3 Fahn/ 0/1 Alenciath First Leg
Points: 1

Fahn was enjoying the rain, even if it had made for a lot of wet, cold, miserable fingers and toes at the end of days that made the siren's call of a warm bath more and more appealing. But it hadn't dampened her spirits - and neither had it even dinged Alenciath's. The girl and her green had thrived in playing in the puddles with the best of them. Being called on by Liat into the rain hadn't required any extra muster to get them properly dressed and out to meet the Weyrlingmaster.

The green greeted her siblings warm and brightly - with extra nudges of affection in particular sent Demodeth's way. It's another race! if allowed she'd take a moment to boop the bronze before ambling over to make further harassing rounds to the others. A boop for Tianxiath and Illaorunth - Just think of the amazing bath you can get from yours later!, a wave of love for Triesteth - We'll see if we're the fastest, won't we?, and another for Sauzath - I'm sure you'll show us all how it is done, dear Sauzath!. Fahn had been stretching while the green made her greetings, just as enthusiastic.

Then it was time for the run - something both rider and dragon were all oh-so used to doing together. It wasn't new, but the rain was nice.

You're just running. It's wet, and you're cold, and neither pleased nor displeased by all of this. At least the Weyr Lake is pretty in the rain. [+1 point]

Aerden and Blue Tianxiath
Fit/In Great Shape
2/3 first leg
Points: 6

The affection from Alenciath was enough to perk Tianxiath up a little, and he couldn't help but preen. It would feel marvelous to be bathed later, where everyone could admire the sheen of his hide and his sleek frame! A wave of affection was sent towards his sister in turn. My baths are always amazing. I'm there, aren't I?

Unaware that poor R'thell had fallen behind them, Aerden continued to focus on keeping his breathing steady. This wasn't a sprint, but a test of endurance. Going too fast at the beginning meant that he'd be exhausted before too long.

The blue dragon was large enough now that he was able to keep pace with his rider rather easily--and had little intention of pushing himself harder than that.

4-5. You're not fooled by the size of the Weyr Lake. You know it's deceptively large, and is a lot wider than it seems. You pace yourself, knowing full well this is going to be all about stamina and the long haul. [+2 Point]

R'thell and green Triesteth
First Leg
1. 10 - Demodeth winglfap failure - Fall - Sore Right Wrist (ruh-roh) 0 points
2. 2 - +4 points - Feeling good.
3.
4. (Triesteth's roll)

R'thell did his best to focus on Triesteth, and not his aching wrist. He still hadn't been sure what happened, but he wasn't the sort to hold grudges. The dragonets were likely excited to get out and about, and he wasn't going to blame anyone for any accidents. He could ice his wrist later... though it occurred to him packing sand wasn't going to be pleasant.

Well.

He'd worry about that later. No pain, no gain--and he wasn't the sort to really complain. Especially not with Triesteth's worried eyes looking at him. I'm fine, love--really. Come on! Let's see who's faster! He encouraged her, taking off in his usual leggy gait. He'd need to make up for his tumble--and hoped no one had seen.

The green gave a gentle croon, before allowing herself to--belatedly--send Alencieth some fond affection in return. I have no doubt you will win this race! Perhaps you already have, and are simply running with us out of pleasure. I have no desire to be fastest, and it would please me far more if you, or one of our other amazing clutchmates, were crowned the champion runner instead. She had no desire to compete, and even if she did, was far more certain that her siblings would all out pace her.

She was their number one fan, after all.

Ty'nan and Blue Chinanazith
Fit / In Great Shape
First leg:
1. 10 -- Demodeth wingflap trips Ty'nan
2.
3.
Chinanazith:
Points:

"C'mon, Chin, this will be fun!" Ty'nan grinned at his blue lifemate. While he was doing stretches and limbering up for the race, Chinanazith was sitting on his haunches in the rain, looking on with weary trepidation. "I have to get you moving more, Weyrlingmaster Liat said so. This is the perfect day for it!" The former Dolphineer turned his face skyward and shook his head in the downpour, spraying even more water on his dragon.

This is the perfect day to stay inside, napping, complained Chinanazith. Even so, he rose to his feet and stretched, flapping his wings. He may not have wanted to do this, but His did, and he would never disappoint His.

Ty'nan took off running in a comfortable, ground-eating lope -- only to trip over Demodeth's wing-flapping and hit the ground, hard. Not exactly the most auspicious start to the race. He got to his feet slowly, covered with mud and with a sore wrist from bracing himself against the fall. He would have to give the young dragons a bit more room....

Quote:
10. Ouch! One of the weyrlings, in their excitement, winds up flapping their wings and causing you to trip! The young dragon doesn't seem to realize what happened, and keeps running--but your own dragon might have something to say about it! :V

Fahn and Alenciath
Fit/Active/In Gr8 Shape
2/3 Fahn/ 0/1 Alenciath First Leg
Points: 5

Quote:
You start off strong, feeling very good about this run. This Weyr Lake isn't that big, right? Look at you, passing everyone by. [+3 Points] If you're in Great Shape, add another point because it's smooth sailing from here. Look at how awesome you look, taking the lead. [+1 Point]

Fahn was always in a rather good mood about runs and watching Alenciath as she bounded jovially amongst her siblings (though she did have to be reminded to give them some physical space so nobody toppled together) just kept her spirits up. Really, they were both unstoppable forces and the elation felt from the free romping of the green just kept Fahn's mood up too.

It was just a run around the lake - hadn't she done that before with her dragon anyways? While many may have no, Fahn looked thrilled to be there.
