[PRP] Late Morning (Savindri/Zhaydegan)

Nnngf. Savindri did not want to wake up, and groaned in protest aa he felt it pulling at him. He was warm, and oh-so comfortable, and cuddled in very nicely. He was an exceedingly tactile young man to begin with, and mornings after were no exception. They were an exception to his usual restlessness, because what was there to be restless about when you were so delightfully wrapped up with someone? The urge to wake up was quite unwelcome, but soon had assistance in the form of a peeping green flit climbing over him to whuffle at his face - and at his partner, too.

"Nngf, Little, stop that," he mumbled, reaching to remove her with his one free hand.

Zhaydegan would have been happy not to move at all for a little while longer. More than happy. Content. Ecstatic, perhaps, but there was a firelizard determinedly putting herself between him and his companion, and that didn't lend itself to nestling back into dreams.

Instead, he laughed, letting one eye pop open to watch the little struggle, a chuckle breaking loose as it closed again. "Is that her name? Little? Good to know. That way I can apologize if I push her off the bed." He didn't try to follow through on the utterly idle threat.

"Mm," Savindri confirmed, slow to words this soon after waking (he couldn't blame the hour, not today), "Little Green." She was, after all, little and green. Spots evidently had better things to do, or there might also have been a blue with...spots. Much as he adored his firelizards, however, today he did not particularly appreciate the interruption.

Little, to her credit, accepted the gentle removal with little more than sigh and toddled down to curl up near their feet.

"Little Green," Zhaydegan echoed, still amused. Still evident, even in two short words. Before saying anything else, though, he reached to tug Savindri closer, close enough to put his forehead against the other's shoulder. "Simple name," he murmured. "Good name." He grinned against warm skin. "Got a name for me?"

Savindri had no objections to being even closer, and happily accomodated the shift in position. He was no little delighted that his new friend was the cuddly type, not the jump-up-and-get-moving type. This was not the morning for that. "Mm, people are much harder," he answered after several moments of attempted thought, "Especially this early in the day."

"And, unlike flits, actually care what you call them." He doubted a single person in the world would want to be called 'Spots.'

It was rue. Zhaydegan would probably have objected to being called Stripes. He laughed again. "True. That;s true. I care, anyway," he confessed. "That guy. Hey you. Those are just not nice."

Speaking of nice and concerns and all, Zhaydegan lifted his head. Still smiling, but with a little more seriousness to his tone, for a moment: "All good? You're okay?"
