It was a doubly exciting day for them! Rinis woke up bright and early in her excitement and eagerness. She was finally moving out of the barracks. Which meant Galensith was nearly an adult and they were getting their own adult dragon weyr. But that wasn't all! Oh no! They were also finally able to move in with their weyrmates. Rinis had never thought this day would come, but it was finally here.
She hummed as she carefully put her life away into portable packages to be transferred up to L'saen's weyr. It didn't seem like much, but moving it piece by piece there was more here than she's thought. In less than a turn Galensith had grown so much. Her fair of firelizards flitted eagerly around the room; sometimes helping and sometimes not.
You have a lot of stuff Rinismine, the green observed as she watched her rider packing and packing. She was ready to go, as her harness and brushes and oils were strapped to her sides. Rinis laughed. "I'm sorry. We humans have a few more things than dragons do." She heaved two bulging bundled up and strapped them to Galensith's sides. The feeling of having her own dragon and knowing the green was going to carry up to their new home filled her with joy.
After strapping the parcels in and checking the straps, Rinis swung up to Galensith's neck. "C'mon dear, let's deliver these." The green hummed and backed up to get clearance before launching up into the air for a short flight to land at the edge of her new weyr.
