You'll follow the lead of the healers, but extra gentle hands to help are never a bad thing and I'm sure the dragons would like a little pleasant attention on top of that." Eliaza had gotten more or less used to dragons. It was one thing to have known about them, seem them, even been very close to them, before she'd come to be a Candidate. It was entirely another to live in a Weyr full of them, to be surrounded daily by immmense, beautiful and sometimes frightening beasts. It had taken her some time to adjust, but she'd done it.

But the idea of getting near an injured dragon still made a little knot in the pit of her stomach. Even the best trained, well-behaved animal could be unpredictable when they were in pain. Yes, she understood that dragons were different, not really animals at all, but still, she felt her nerves.

She nodded, though, to W'tarl, and offered Divisti a little smile. "Well then. Shall we?"
