[PRP] Down by the water [Dusk Warrior x Delirium]

He had taken a moment to be away from Dawn Stunner. Not that he didn't enjoy her company. The mare was the one he had come out this way with. Their feuding herds had taken their toll on the pair and they had decided on a new place. The Bluestone Mountains were a tough place to live but they were travelers around the areas. There was plenty to graze on between the base and the top but he wanted an even newer location to explore. So he went down to the River Run. The cool waters felt good on his hooves and even better when he laid in them. Everything was so different now and he thought of his old herd. They should have just combined instead of these petty squabbles. Oh well that was in the past now. No point in dwelling because even if he went back, they would not welcome him home. Those who left the herd were no longer welcome to join back, a betrayal they would say.

So he kicked up the water under his hooves. Forgetting everything else but keeping an ear out in case of predators. He could kick one pretty dang hard but he was still prey and that wasn't going to change.

Delirium was well…being Delirium. He was caught in a prance through the Run, tail held high. He was sporting fresh scars, a battle with some sort of predator that left it unknown who the true victor of the battle was. He was alive, so that was something he had going for him

The blue roan male whinnied, calling out to others around. While he didn’t want another fight, he’d be happy with any sort of companionship at this point. Even if it was just a for a few moments.

The stallion was a social butterfly. It was likely how he had gotten into the fight with the predator earlier. Nosing his way into business that wasn’t his. The pony neighed again, pausing his prance in a quick stop as his ears perked forward, listening, waiting, for a response.

Here he was kicking up the waters when he heard the whinny of another pony around. His ears twitched and he listened for a moment before he whinnied back. His red-gold eyes searching around. Was that someone there? He could just barely make out someone in the distance who looked very much like another pony. Carefully he headed in the direction of the new figure, fording the river just a bit before getting on the bank he flicked his tail. This was great! He was going to meet someone else finally, maybe even someone who shared his and Dawn's ideals of strength.
