“Stab it!?” Was the last thing the girl said before Leslie ordered his Porygon to turn into the equivalent of a bunch of knives taped to a basketball. It all happened so fast, right after the flash of light tufts of yellow wool were sent flying in all directions, the frenzied movements of the Porygon making it difficult to see what was going on. By the time it was all over the Mareep was sheared down to the skin over a majority of its body with the remaining wool trimmed in such a way to look like a Porygon’s head. It was hard to say if Church had actually damaged it or the frenzied movements just befuddled it to such an extreme degree that it ended up knocking itself out. Regardless Mareep had mentally tapped out and next thing Leslie knew a Roto-drone swooped in to snap a few close up of Church’s handiwork on Mareep before swooping over to the lady farm hand. “Bzzt! Team Unova’s Molly is out of usable Pokemon! Prepare for evac! Thanks for participating!” The last thing Molly said before being teleported away was something about a Liepard, a Pidove, and a corn silo. Who knows what all that was about. It was time to finally move onto the tower where she would find her teammates in trouble...

“The grass doesn’t mind the winter’s chill because under the spring sun it will rise again. ” The monk said as his Bellsprout was blasted with an Ice Beam, the Pokemon wilting over under its chilling effect. At first it seemed like a one-hit knock out and that the command fell on deaf ears, that was until the sun’s rays suddenly intensified and the Bellsprout perked right back up. It was still heavily damaged from that Ice Beam but now it seemed more spry. “Move in my flower, let the breeze take you.” With that said the Bellsprout shockingly began to run head first towards Keiko’s Chansey. That was until a biker Koffing decided to interrupt and unleashed a spray of Acid down upon both Pokemon, trainers included. Keiko, as hybrid, and the Pokemon could probably bear it just fine but what about this elderly old human?

And just like that things transpired exactly as Sol assumed they would. The overly dramatic and gungho Channeler flew right past Sol as he simply sidestepped the flashy but easily avoidable attack, the Channely flying right over the edge of the tower and sent plummeting to the ground. “Riolu!” Shouted Lulu as he watched his Channeler disappear over the edge, the little Riolu quickly chased after its trainer to see if she was okay. Sol could easily knock out the Riolu right now and knock out the Channeler from the tournament but it would kind of be a Mudbray move. Perhaps it was enough to declare this humiliating defeat as win enough for now. She wouldn’t be bothering him anytime soon anyways, not after that fall. Now that she was taken care of Sol would notice the sound of motorcycles revving and a curious glance over the edge would confirm the presence of a group of bikers from Kanto circling the tower. The fighting never stopped. He wouldn’t have long to observe and figure out a plan however as a pair of Zubat rose up from below and met him at eye level before executing each a Supersonic. No doubt belonging to the bikers.

Blizzard would nail one of the biker’s hog clean in the front wheel with an Ice Beam, freezing it to the ground and causing the entire bike to flip forward, tossing its rider off of it. The biker behind him didn’t have time to stop and thus crashed into the frozen bike, mangling the two vehicles. The next Ice Beam was such a clean hit that Blizzard, perhaps unintentionally, frozen the entire bike to the ground and the rider to the bike. The rider was largely fine thanks to his thick leather pants and could slip out easily enough if he ditched them but for now he was too busy shouting profanities.

Next came Krysta’s friends, the wild Rookidee summoned by her call. After one of the bikers on the receiving end of an unfortunately (for him) timed Rookidee ‘relieving’ he began to swerve around on his bike before hitting a patch of ice formed by one of Blizzard’s missed shots sending him skidding straight into the biker Blizzard had missed with said Ice Beam. Looks like the Cold One’s record wasn’t broken after all.

As for the Muk in the tower hounding Brian and Krysta it at first looked like the Rookidee weren’t enough, the Muk grounding several of them with a few globs of sludge, that was until the Muk suddenly began to levitate, much to its bewilderment. It didn’t take long to see who was responsible as Elgyem briefly became active again and found a little bit more strength left in it, just enough to utilize a Confusion, suspending it long enough for the Rookidee to get their revenge pecks in before sending the Muk flying out of the ruins. With that done Elgyem promptly passed out, its strength completely depleted. Again they were saved by this mysterious Pokemon.

At this point only about half the bikers were still raring to go, after seeing some of their comrades targeted now angrier than ever. Before they could do something out of revenge a cold chill was sent down their spins as a horde of Gastly and Duskull descended upon them thanks to Odd and his Chatot, forcing their bikers to either ditch their bikers or drive around erratically to avoid the angry ghosts.

After a few minutes of chaos a single male biker would stand out among the crowd of panicking bikers and crack a whip, the sound of the whip echoing throughout the entire area, drawing the attention of all the bikers regardless of what they were doing at the moment. For a few seconds silence fell over the land as even the Ghost Pokemon and Rookidee seemed to freeze up. “What are you goons doing!? We’re the Kanto Pokemon Federation! Did you forget that!? We’re feared from Kanto to the Sevii Islands and we won’t let anyone make punks out of us! It’s time to take the kid gloves off!” He roared, taking out an Ultra Ball and spiking it onto the ground to release a Nidoking. The other eleven bikers, plus one missing their pants, would all begin to throw out Great and Ultra Balls as well, releasing evolved Pokemon of their own. Four Muk, three Weezing, two Primeape, and two Electrode all together plus the two Zubat bothering Sol and the Koffing Keiko was dealing with.

“Bzzt! The Kanto Pokemon Federation is disqualified for cheating! Prepare for-” A Roto-drone declared as it swooped down from the sky not long after the plethora of evolved Pokemon appeared. It was promptly cut off as the Nidoking blasted it out of the sky with a Shadow Ball. “This isn’t about the tourney anymore.” The biker leader hissed. “Sic’em.” He ordered his fellow bikers, their Pokemon then proceeding to launch their attacks.

Having deduced his position from the Ice Beams two of the Weezing began to launch volley after volley of Sludge Bomb at Blizzard. The pair of Electrode would roll up on Odd in a flash and begin to roll around him, periodically zapping him with Thunderbolts. The two Primeape would split up with one seeking out to pounce on and surprise Keiko’s Chansey with Fury Swipes while the other scaled the tower to take Sol by surprise with its Rage.

As for Ulla the group of Drifloon seemed receptive to the idea of helping her, at least as far as she could tell based on their emotions. That was when Cera showed up and suddenly one of the Drifloon became really excited, floating around her happily. Ulla could easily tell this one knew her, somehow. The ghost would then say something to the other Drifloon and then the entire group was raring to go. Was this Drifloon part of her ‘army’? Either way they all wanted to help now but what could they do? That’s when Cera might notice the opportunity presented to them. A Sunny Day had been summoned above the Watchtower Ruins where all the chaos was unfolding and by Ulla’s side was a little Vulpix. Maybe it was time to rain fire on these cheaters.

-----

Sub zipped across the grassy fields of the Wild Area, heading straight for the Watchtower Ruins. He had a single goal in mind, to find Krysta, however his focus would be broken once he noticed a strange Riolu waving its arms around to get his attention with a Stunky following close behind it. Didn’t see that every day. Coming to a stop and hopping off his Hoverboard the man pulled up his Go-Goggles and crouched down to meet the pair of Pokemon. He didn’t speak Pokemon like the hybrids nor could he read their feelings or minds like certain Channelers but it was clear they were distressed about something. “Wait a minute, you’re Muse. Krysta’s Stunky.” It then dawned on him what was wrong. “Got it. Come on you two, let’s take care of this once and for all.” He said to the Pokemon, scooping them up, holding Muse in his arms and putting Riolu on his back. “Hold on!” He informed the two before putting his Go-Goggles back on and kicking off on his Hoverboard, the trio flying across the field once more.

-----

Brian and Krysta would only find peace for a few minutes after Elgyem saved them a second time before three Muk, including the one from before, came crawling back into the ruins, now surrounding them on all sides and it looked like the original Muk told the other two exactly what they did to it and none of the three were happy about it. Just when it seemed like they were out of options a certain black haired man carrying their Pokemon came riding into the ruins on a Hoverboard, an Eevee perched on the nose of it and a rope in his hands. “Sorry I’m late!” He cackled as he made circles around the two, the Eevee launching flurries of Swift at the Muk to at least keep them at bay while its train kept circling and zigzagging around the two. Before they knew it the three of them, Brian, Krysta, and Elgyem were tied up with the Escape Rope around their waists and once Sub felt they were secured he floored the Hoverboard and high tailed it out of the ruins, looking back to see the Muk in pursuit. “Now Hans, close it up with a Shadow Ball.” He ordered, the Eevee firing off a Shadow Ball at the hole in the ruins they just past through, causing the upper ‘frame’ of the hole to collapse and deny the Muk pursuit.

He didn’t dare take them far from the ruins with all the fighting going on, instead he wrapped around the tower towards the back where he felt they were mostly out of sight and came to a stop. The two would probably be nauseous and a little bumped up after being yanked around like that but largely okay. Now safe and sound he let Riolu and Muse down and proceeded to untie the trio. “You guys okay? Who is your friend, Krysta?” He asked as he untied Brian. While untying Krysta he noticed the rock in her position, formerly in Elgyems. “Where did you find that?” He asked. “It’s a Wishing Star, isn’t it? Do you...mind if I borrow that?” He asked with a smile on his face.

-----

“Come out come out wherever you are!” The biker leader shouted as he searched around the tower for the Snagems previously in the ruins, the third Weezing, fourth Muk, and his Nidoking in tow, overly confident in knowing he had so many evolved Pokemon on his side and his opponents did not.

-----

Thanks to Amaranth and Lykas, Aria and Wren would be okay. Now all that was left to do was head to the tower, though before they even got near they would see the chaos unfolding and their teammates overpowered and out numbered. It didn’t look good, even with back up, but they had to do something to try and save them.

[Hunter Team]

“Sandshrew!?” The mouse Pokemon cried out as it was overwhelmed with the debris created by Tyrogue’s Mega Punch and unwittingly drawn in by Sandshrew, taking on much more than it intended as chunks of rock slammed into it, spinning back around and continuing to do so as they orbited around in its Sand Tomb. There was nothing it nor AJ could do to correct this error, the Sandshrew was already in motion and on a collision course for the ground. The next thing anyone knew Sandshrew crashed into the ground in a violent explosion of sand and rock, debris flying everywhere, AJ shielding his own face from the resulting impact. A cloud of dust formed and all they could do was wait for it to settle. Once it did they would see what happened; Sandshrew missed its mark, knocked off course by one or more of the rocks. It was now embedded into the Earth just inches shy of the fissure’s opening. The Sandshrew would remain there for the time being, knocked out by the impact of its own attack.

“Bzzt! Team Kanto’s AJ is out of usable Pokemon! Prepare for evac! Thanks for participating!” A Roto-drone declared as it flew down from the sky just as AJ was returning his Pokemon. “Heh, you ain’t bad, lady, nor is your Tyrogue there. Sandshrew and I might be disappointed but I’m glad we got to face a trainer such as yourself. We’ll be rooting for ya.” He complimented Freth before a Kadabra appeared to teleport them away. As for Tyrogue it would receive a very notable surge of energy after that battle, like it just took down a Dragonite all by itself. Not surprising considering how powerful that Sandshrew was. (Tyrogue +25 Evo Points) Now with AJ defeated it was perhaps time to see what happened with Tristen and that piece they were after.

-----

Speaking of Tristen, and Reno as well. The Ghost Hidden Power slammed into the Centiskorch and while it elicited an audible pained moan it did not stop the insect’s roll, much to the teenage hybrid’s horror. That was when Reno had an idea of his own, a stupid yet...well, just stupid really. The Psychic Channeler ran up to the Centiskorch and delivered a kick straight to the side of the rolling bug. Maybe it was wobbly after taking the Hidden Power, or maybe Reno had been working out his leg muscles, all they knew is the kick caused the Centiskorch to wobble wildly until it lost balance and tipped over onto its side, its rolling ceased. “Skooorch!” It roared as it flailed around a bit on the ground before attempting to get back up but just as it was stretching itself out it let out a massive yawn and fell back to the ground, now fast asleep. The Wishing Piece stuck in its carapace sparked under the sun’s rays. “Phew...that was close.” Ben said as he quickly fetched his wounded Rattata, hurt but not knocked out.

-----

“Oh, huh they didn’t teach us all of that in school.” The Venonat hybrid admitted as he listened to Aden’s explanation. Before he had time to say much else, or even give his Pokemon a counter command he and his Psyduck were taken by surprise as the Wooloo unleashed a blast of psychic power of their own with Copycat, however in a very different form. With a blast of Psychic bearing down on it Psyduck was nothing more than a sitting duck (get it?) as Wooloo came crashing down on it. The one-two combo was it for the Psyduck, as it fainted under the weight of the Wooloo. This battle was over.

“Bzzt! Team Kanto’s Laois out of usable Pokemon! Prepare for evac! Thanks for participating!” A Roto-drone declared as it flew down upon them. “Aw man...well, it was fun. Nice talking to you, by the way! I’ll try and watch you, you’re pretty good! Hang in there!” The young hybrid said before an Abra appeared to teleport him and his Pokemon away. Now that the battle was taken care of he would note that just across from the den Freth had taken care of her own battle. A curious glance down the den though would show that the piece was gone, unbeknownst to him it was wedged in the carapace of a Centiskorch already taken care of by Tristen and Reno. Perhaps it was time to move on and look for more pieces. In fact, he was detecting a Psychic wavelength nearby, somewhat familiar to him. Terashi? It was pretty easy for Psychics to detect other Psychics. Maybe he could use some help.

-----

Speaking of Terashi his Drilbur would be in for a shock as it struck out at the Shuppet along to end up with a Poke Doll stuck to the end of its claw. It was a fake!? Palladia would fare no better as the Machop simply passed through the ‘Hex Maniac’. Illusions, both of them. This was a trap. The Poke Doll would then explode on Simon’s claw, unleash a concussive blast along with a plum of poisonous powder.

“Kee hee! Did you think it was that easy!?” The real Hex Maniac declared as she stepped out from behind a boulder, the real crystal ball hovering between her hands and the real Shuppet flying beside her. Instantly Terashi would sense she was a Channeler. Great. She wasn’t alone however as some sort of ninja in a Team Hoenn styled garbed jump on top of the boulder and silently glared at him and Absinthe, a Nincada at his side. Another Channeler? No, just a very talented ninja, that Poke Doll trap was incredibly convincing.

“Two on two sounds fair but you’re both no match for us!” The Hex Maniac cackled. “Spite on the Drilbur!” She ordered, her Shuppet unleashing a wave of oppressive resentment upon Drilbur, sapping it of its will to use Shadow Claw, the mole Pokemon forming a grudge against the Shuppet. As if the fake out and face full of poison wasn’t enough to make Simon resentful. As for the ninja he remained silent and unmoving for a few seconds before throwing a smoke bomb down, a cloud of black smoke enveloping him and his Nincada. Once it cleared both were gone, until Nincada appeared underneath Palladia and attempted to pull it down into its hole as it executed Dig.

-----

Leon’s ambush was perfect, neither the green haired chef nor the martial artist knew what was coming, both of them and their Pokemon trapped in the cloud of poison, coughing fiercely. Then came the Trainer’s Eyes, the Lickitung’s trainer only realizing what was going on as he was hit and the circle of energy formed from him and spread out, pushing the cloud of poison away and ceasing its expansion once Leon was inside the ring.

“That was cheap!” The chef said, still coughing, his Lickitung hacking a bit. Looks like he succeeded in poisoning it. “Lickitung, Belly Drum!” He ordered. Uh oh. The tongue Pokemon would promptly proceed to drum on its belly with its long tongue, each thwack of its belly causing the Lickitung to bulk up further and further. Looks like they intended to finish this as quick as it started. For better or worse this battle would not last long.

As for the martial artist and his Crabrawler they both were Working themselves Up as the human called out for anyone else lurking to show their face, namely the unseen Lykas.

-----

As for Beauregard, he would eventually crest a hill and find the Watchtower Ruins in the distance, along with the Snagems being ganged up by the cheating Kanto Pokemon Federation. It was time to make some more booms it looked like.

Keiko could feel the warmth on her fur before Bellsprout visibly reacted to it's influence. "Sunny Day. This is bad," she whispered to herself as she watched Bellsprout seemingly recover from Stasy's Ice Beam. Before she could do anything else, however, Koffing's Acid washed over the battlefield, covering her with toxins. As a hybrid, she could indeed handle it, but that didn't mean she wouldn't suffer because of the burning sensation it would inflict. "Gaah! Stasy, Psychic!" Keiko shouted. Stasy would obey, but the Psychic meant for Koffing would go off in the minds of the two Primeape in their attempt to assault her.

Keiko herself would try to remove the acid eating at her fur, and despite the pain she was going through, she remembered the monk she was battling when all this was going down. Struggling, she walked up to him and either helped him to his feet or helped him walk. "Let's get you out of here," she grunted, hoping to somehow prevent him from succumbing to the acid, if he was even in danger of that.

~*~

"One can hope," I replied, grateful that I no longer feel discomfort at the presence of Ghost-type Pokemon or Channelers anymore, as I'll need to focus to fight my way out of this trap.

My fighter, however, wasn't faring all that well. The explosion hurt, sure, but the poison was making that hurt last. My thoughts shifted to the Max Revive in my bag for a second, but I was wasting my time thinking about it. It'll only be useful once Simon faints. "Sorry, Simon, but I can't heal you yet. Do the best you can, and we might make it out of this," I told him.

Simon didn't have my kind of willpower, however, and dug underground to calm his nerves enough to focus on how to proceed. This didn't save him from Spite, though, as that was going on while I was talking to him. It was from here, however, he could sense the vibrations from Nincada's Dig. He chose to chase after it and attack it underground, unknowingly freeing Palladia in the process.

Absinthe noticed Palladia being drug under immediately, but also noticed the Machop freeing herself from Nincada's grasp as Simon attacked it. "Palladia, use Thief on Shuppet!" she ordered, a move not unfitting for a member of the Deathrage family. Palladia lunged at Shuppet, her arms shrouded in Dark-type energy as she struck.

Brian was glad when the Muk seemed to back off for a moment before hurling sludge bombs at the offending Rookidee, knocking several to the ground and making to attack again before it suddenly levitated. When Brian looked around, he saw the Elgyem they'd saved had managed to call up the last of its reserve strength and use Confusion, thankfully buying them enough time to try and escape. This wasn't to be, however, as it wasn't long before three Muk, including the one they'd just fended off, came into the space, causing Brian to gag and nearly pass out from the smell. Only sheer willpower kept him awake.

Just when he thought they were done for, he heard the sound of a Hoverboard approaching, and a moment later, a black-haired man appeared in the small space, an Eevee perched on the nose of the device. He wasn't able to see much else through severely watering eyes, but he heard the man cackling an apology about being late before proceeding to tie an Escape Rope around their waists while the Eevee launched Swift at the three Muk. A second later, Brian felt himself being jerked from the ruins with Krysta and the Elgyem, and when he looked at the space they'd just been, it was in time to see a Shadow Ball hit the opening at the top, which caved in the hole and prevented the Muk from following.

It seemed like hours before they finally stopped, though in reality, it was probably only a few minutes. Still, that was a few minutes too long, in Brian's book, as a wave of nausea swept over him when they finally did stop. He had a few scrapes along his hands, but other than that, he was relatively unharmed. When the black-haired man bent to untie them, Lu waited until he'd backed away to launch herself at Brian, relieved that her trainer was alright. Brian chuckled as he petted her head, then looked up at the man when he asked who Krysta's friend was. "My name is Brian," he said, holding out one hand in greeting. "I just joined Team Snagem, and was sent by GRAY to deliver some healing items for the tournament. Krysta volunteered to show me the way, and we'd planned to get out before the tournament started, but one of the bikers caught us." He left off the part where he'd Snagged the biker's Magmortar, not wanting to dig himself further into trouble than he already was.

"Heh, not bad despite not practicing my aim in a little bit because of war wounds..." I said, as I started to move forward, a bit proud of my handiwork. As I approached forward, taking Torchic's Pokeball out to get at the ready to stick a proverbial fork into these rag-tag bunch of bikers, I ended up stopping once I saw one of the Pokemon released from them. A Nidoking. "Woah, hold up-" Before I could say more, more Pokemon were released, all for the most part fully evolved and at least a couple of them, a pair of Weezing, had their sights trained on me. "...screw me running..."

Quickly I retreated back, diving, taking a slide down a grassy knoll, then rolling over to bury my face in the ground and putting my hands on over my head as Sludge Bombs threatened to pelt me. I then lifted my head up, seeing sludge start to roll down from the top of the knoll. "...ugh, Torchic isn't going to be able to fight any of that directly." Once again, I am reminded why I don't take vacations. Bastards like these ruin them. I was left to question to myself just to take these cheaters out if I could use my own evolved Pokemon. I'm pretty sure the likes of Psy and Scizor could ruin their day. Then again, I don't know if I'd be caught up in the mass disqualifications if I do so. Torchic wouldn't be able to take that directly. Despite trying to train it, I primarily only used Torchic to help Tristen along in his battling. Worse, the best move I got on it is a Fire Pledge attack since that was the most Torchic could handle so far. It's not capable of using a Flamethrower as of yet. Admittedly, that one is on me.

Right now, I needed to get creative with what little I got. I then noticed that the area started to get brighter. I peeked above the knoll, admittedly, exposing my head to the Kanto bikers once again, but long enough to notice the sun turned intense. A Sunny Day? I also took notice to the area where the bikers were standing. Well...I didn't have a Grass Pledge user on hand, but I may of had an idea, but the tall grass about them might be able to be a somewhat okay substitute. I then took notice to Beau above. Even better, I thought. Quickly, I took out my SNAG, giving a call to Beau. "Beau! Those biker's Pokemon, mind dropping some explosive powder on them? Things are about to get real nasty for them if I got anything to say about it."

Quickly I pulled out from the knoll and rushed, giving the Pokeball a hard toss. "Torchic!" I called out. The ball flashed open and out came the tiny fiery chick out for battle.

"Toooorr!" The Torchic chirped out.

"Torchic! Fire Pledge!" I called out.

"TORRR!" The Torchic fired a flurry of embers. Hitting the Bikers Pokemon wasn't really important. Making a brush fire was.

-------------

Tyrogue ended up falling back, flopping on the ground, but yet remained seated up right, giving a sigh of relief. "Ty-roooogue..." The child fighter spoke.

"Yea, I hear you." Freth said to Tyrogue. Never has she imagined a Pokemon like that could rival the likes of fully evolved, probably even borderline legendary Pokemon, like the way that Sandshrew could. All those Pokemon the Sandshrew took out and still gave Tyrogue a hell of a fight. "But you did good and you knocked him out of the contest. Nothing stopping you now."

"Rogue!" Tyrogue spoke up, hopping back up.

"Hopefully Tristen got his end done."

---------

Speaking of the Manetric hybrid, Tristen had a rush of shock, to utter disbelief, seeing the Eevee's Hidden Power not phase it as much as he cared to, to Reno, against all logic, to kick the rolling Centiskorch off balance and send out of control. Worse, however, when the Centiskorch was looking like it was about to get up...but then went back down when Eevee's Yawn finally took effect.

Tristen himself started to sigh in relief for the moment. But then a realization...the thing in the carapace of the Centiskorch. That was the wishing piece, wasn't it? And it was potentially the only one, wasn't it? Reno's plan to make everyone leave happy was probably not going to end well, and prior experience? Arguing with Reno was a effort in futility. With that few seconds of serenity and silence and the boy going off for his Rattata, Tristen sighed, resigned and a little upset that it was leading to this. Pragmatism needed in a free for all, after all.

"Eevee, Covet." Eevee rushed over towards the Centiskorch, gingerly snatched away the Wishing piece, carrying it in its mouth, then rushed back to Tristen. "Eevee, let's go!" Mission accomplished; time to leave back for Sub, hopefully before Reno or the kid gets a wild hair to do something about it.

Beau would observe the absolute anarchy that had engulfed the watchtower that he knew everyone else was currently attempting to claim as a base. How in the hell did they find an entire biker gang? And one who sneaked in that many fully evolved Pokemon? And he wasn't around or able to explode all of those nice, shiny bikes? Oh, he was feeling just slightly livid at the incredible lack of fire for carpet bombing he had access to.

And of course, as he wished for it, his SNAG would begin to yell at him that it was time to powder coat those morons on the motorcycles. Returning the still very agitated Pistachio back to his Pokeball, Beau would do a few quick stretches before sprinting towards the downward curve of the hill, diving into the air and spreading his wings to begin gliding over the biker gang. And naturally, a steady torrent of Powder would spread out from the flying hybrid.

And as it drifted towards the flames now littering the ground, it would only take a moment before explosions began to rip through the area with reckless abandon. Cackling madly above the biker gang as he continued to keep up the explosive introduction, Beau waited to see what he could attempt to disintegrate once he was finished destroying the ground around the bikers, their bikes, and everything else.

----

Reno would be too busy nursing his slightly on fire and extremely in pain from kicking a hard carapace foot to bother with much attempts to interrupt Tristan as he essentially swiped the Wishing Piece with no regard to the deal that he had cut with the young boy. Turning to look Ben in the eye, Reno would simply shrug his one shoulder before slowly getting up. "Guess that settles that for the moment. Wanna keep trying to find another piece or shall we call it a day and resume this if we meet each other again?" Reno asked, Harleen slowly marching up behind her trainer as she returned from where she had ended up during her effort to suplex a giant bug.

----

Leslie would flash a quick smirk as she saw the mild bit of modern art that her Porygon had created out of the Mareep, immediately patting the still-spiky Church before turning to where the tower was. Not that it was hard to find, what with it sounding like a small artillery was assailing the place. Well, she'd get there soon enough. But she wasn't going to be helping just yet. Damn these tiny legs.

----

Aria would finally be able to see straight and now there was this incessant ringing in her ears.....oh wait, it looked to be that Beau was attempting to decimate the tower, not the tragic beginnings of tinnitus. Relaxing now that her career outside of Snagem appeared to no longer be under threat, Aria would quickly begin to cover ground towards the bikers outside of the tower. Quickly diverting herself in front of the bikers, Aria would look to the Toxel in her arms for a moment before pointing to the trail that the bikers would soon be forced down. "Acid, Billy! Lets see how well an oil slick that eats tires does against their bikes!' Aria commanded, watching the small Pokemon unleash a fair-sized pool of Acid before plucking it off the ground and diving back into the nearby foliage. No need to be too exposed if they crashed immediately and wanted some revenge.

As the horde of Ghost-type Pokemon went to work on the various bikers in the Kanto Pokemon Federation, Odd felt like the Snagems might have a chance to lay claim here after all. And then came the many evolved Pokemon, all Poison-types it looked like. As hard as he thought about it, the only thing that came to mind was one thing. They needed to deescalate this situation as quickly as possible. The bikers had already been disqualified from the sound of it so if they could get them to stop battling long enough for an official to remove them from the tourney?

"Replay! Track three!" He called to his Pokemon. Code for a combination attack? It took the Chatot a moment to remember which combination that was. After a moment, the bird nodded and began to fly across the area, dropping glowing feathers from his wings with Feather Dance. Once his lap was done, hitting as many of the enemy Pokemon and their trainers with the strength-sapping move, he'd start another lap Singing a lullaby charged with Normal-type energy tinged with hypnotic suggestions aiming to lull those hearing it to sleep. Hopefully the Snagems would hear it and either drown it out or cover their ears. This was his best chance at trying to cut down on the length of this brawl as quickly as possible. Even if it didn't affect every one of their current opponents, they might be able to drop a few of them to focus on the rest more?

Unfortunately, he was left with a pair of Electrode focusing on him exclusively and zapping him with lightning periodically. As painful as it was, being a channeler gave him a slight edge over a standard human and he was able to get a (barely) running kick aimed at one of the Electrode, attempting to punt the volatile Ball Pokemon back into the bikers. Hopefully the kick would be enough to trigger it's internal explosive mechanism to blow up on them?

~~~
With Wren fed some of the Pechas so he would recover from the poisoning from that Morelull, Lykas started to move toward the Watchtower Ruins once again, giving Wren some support along the way. Noelani continued attempting to drag Aria on her icy gurney as long as she needed, with Billy now laid down on her chest until Lykas' ability wore off on it. Hopefully she'd be getting better any moment.
"Looks like they ran into trouble. We should probably go provide some backup." The hybrid announced as he spotted the brawl unfurling in the distance. "Scratch that. We should go provide a lot of backup." He amended upon realizing how outmatched the team was at the moment. A few hybrids did not equal a large party of fully evolved Pokemon, after all.
"Stay here until you can breath better and then join us. I'm going ahead." He told Wren as he leaned him up against a tree and darted off toward the base of the tower after recalling Noelani. He might need her for his own backup. As he pulled up on the scene and took stock of exactly what was happening, he noted one particular Pokemon that seemed to be less "active". The biker with the Nidoking. Figuring taking out an opponent who wasn't actively attacking might be the most helpful for the moment, he'd train his abilities on the "lead" biker and his group before firing off a full-power Water Spout aimed to slam them all directly into the side of the tower.
~~~

Wren would accept Lykas' help until he was left leaning on a tree while he got his breath, and his strength, back. "We need to get over there..." He'd tell himself with a grimace, followed by a deep, ragged breath. He just didn't have it in him yet to rush. "Can you help from here?" He'd ask Manna, holding up his little Apple Core Pokemon. She'd nod with her eyes, darting out of her apple for a brief instant before returning and rolling out of Wren's hands. Taking up a position on the hillside and with her body wrapped around the Destiny Stone Wren had brought along inside the apple she called home, energy welled up with her. Between her eyes, a spitball-sized flame of light blue draconian energy formed rather quickly. "Ap! Plin!" With the energy formed, she released it with a sort of "push". The spitball grew as it flew, turning into a baseball, then a basketball and finally into a proper meteorite. About the time it reached the battle raging around the Watchtower Ruins, it exploded into shards of Draco Meteor raining down on the wilderness.

"Since when can you do that?!" Wren yelped, coughing for a moment as he stared at the tiny Grass-type. He forgot she was a Dragon-type, too. Apparently she was more dragon than he had initially given her credit for.

~~~
When Leon decided to take the chance to enter the battle against the Lickitung trainer, Kaya followed his lead using the poisonous cover to his advantage. Jumping into the cloud while the trainers were blinded, he'd swing a Fairy energy-charged punch at the Black Belt's gut. He was aiming to send the energy of the Play Rough charging through the trainer's being so he could use his ability, Magician, to claim an item he might be able to make use of as Tenoh came into view once the poisonous fog had cleared enough for her to be safe doing so. She'd immediately fling a miniature Moonblast at Crabrawler, clearly not strong enough to make it very big yet.
Krysta was fussing over elgyem when it would raise its hand and its eyes would glow and the muk went flying. Elgyem collapsed back to the ground passing out once more. “Thank you friend. You are a strange creature but I am grateful we met and that you seem to care about getting out of this. I will do what I can to help you find your people and provide help if needed.”
Krysta would continue to tend to fuss over the elgyem wondering if it was comfortable and how to keep it safe. Her thoughts drifted back over the course of the recent events. Confused, and bewildered by what she had been through and what she had found herself doing. She had always been a shy child, a little to eager to please, and excited to learn new things. But to stand up to aggressive violent people who wanted to hurt someone? That wasn’t Krysta. She was just a wall flower, background noise in the sea of life. People in the village very rarely took time to do more than just greet her with a smile and a friendly waive, and she was ok with that, or so she thought. Now she wasn’t so sure. Her whole world had been upturned like fresh soil by the Snagems. They were fascinating strange, exotic people. They freely used technology and showed little to no fear in the face of what seemed to be terrifying situations. And they were diverse. In her visits with them she had seen what she guessed was at least a dozen different species of… hybrid? That’s the term right? Represented. The most of interesting of which to her eye was that giant blue bird “Noble hybrid” fellow. She wanted to sit down and ask him questions. Does he eat human food? Worms? Bird seed? Does he nest or does he sleep in a bed? Her thoughts went to the other snagems as well. Wanting to ask them all different things about themselves and their families. And her mind turned to the professor. The women who had raised her, protected her for almost 2 decades. It was one thing to meet the snagems and want to talk to them but this? THIS was a whole nother level of getting into a mess. And Would the professor be able to forgive her? Krysta also had a stirring in her. Something… moving. A feeling that her life till now hadn’t been enough, that she had gotten a taste of something exciting and liked it. How was she supposed to tell that to her pseudo mother? That the life she had been given wasn’t fully satisfying or enough?
Krysta was lost in thought as the muks started slinking back into the area. The stench, akin to rotten meat, Mixed with wet trash, and some kind of soil mix, first caught her nose, she began to crinkle it, but it was infact, Brian given a shout that brought Krysta out of her thoughts. The Muks would slowly come at them from different entrances into the ruin blocking all seeming paths out. Krysta grabbed elgeym trying to hold it to her chest as if trying to defend it to the last moment. As Krysta thought this was the end, that they biker bullies had one, a man on a hover board dashed in. “MR SUB. IT’s YOU?! YOU’RE HERE OMG! I HAVE SOOO MUCH TO TELL YOU ABOUT WHATS BEN GOING ON!”
As Krysta stared in Shock at the leader of the Snagems coming to the rescue, himself no less, not a minion, she was caught off guard as he threw a rope around her and brian and dragged them out of the area. Krysta saw Mr Sub’s pokemon an Eevee he called… Hans? Stopped the muk from following them. As sub untied Krysta she would fall to the ground while holding elgyem spitting out some of the stench in her mouth “I mean I’ve smelled some bad things that muse has chocked up but those muks are a whole nother level!” as Krysta gently places elgyem down muse comes running over to her “STUNNNNKKKKKAAAAA” It cries as it jumps into her arms for a quick cuddle. “Ohh muse thank goodness your ok! Thank your Mr sub for bringing muse back to me!”
As Krysta was cuddling muse greatfully she heard Sub speaking to her. “The rock? You mean the wishing star? You know what it is? Elgeym was holding it when it ran to Brian and I. but it couldn’t hold onto it. You can borrow it, but it isn’t mine so just promise to give it back ok? It seems important to the elgeym. Ohh Mr Sub sir we need to talk. How am I going to talk to the professor about all this? What is Brian and I get noticed by those drones won’t you be banned as well? I’m sorry for causing such a Mess!”
"Nobody ever said I had to play fair." Leon said as he watched the gas he emitted be pushed out. He noticed that his poison affected both of them. Which means he can wrap this up faster. "Shiro Ice Beam." He said as his Alolan Vulpix popped out of her Pokeball and shot it directly at the Lickitung. Once she shot the beam, Leon also threw his white kunai to aim for the Pokemon's side. So, they had the choice of either dodging the Ice Beam, or the kunai. Only openings they had would leave them defenseless.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ulla watched as her teammates were battling some other Pokemon trainers trying to take over. That's when she noticed the bright Sunny Day. "Velvet!" She called as the Vulpix noticed as well. "Let's give those guys a scare so the Drifloon can do something! Flamethrower!" Vulpix nodded as a large flame came out of the tiny foxes mouth. Ulla focused as much of her Fairy Energy that she could as small gusts of wind started to shape the flames. It started to look almost like the Legendary Bird Pokemon Moltress.

Much as Sol thought of adding insult to injury and dealing with Lulu, he decided to leave the Riolu alone. A decision that he hoped not to regret later, but the channeler was young and inexperienced and neither of them had used their Trainer's Eyes on one another; at this point, any sort of scuffle may as well have not happened, and the sound of motorcycles that followed was enough of a signal that worse was on its way anyhow. If the Zubat that came up to make him and his Scorbunny wince from the Supersonic's disorientation wasn't enough of an obvious sign, that is.

"Inigo, another Ember?" He asked, already fairly sure rules were about to be thrown out the window. Unfortunately, the Scorbunny couldn't get over his disorientation and tripped when he attempted to attack. "...close enough," he remarked, managing to fight through it enough to let off a Psychic burst and hopefully throw off the Zubat a bit. They had yet to try and look down, but the varied cries and Roto-drone speaking up made things pretty clear; forget the rules, these guys weren't playing by them.

In his distraction from the Zubat, though, he'd get flung to the ground by the Primeape that ambushed the two, only for Inigo to try and fight off the confusion enough to finally fire that Ember and get Primeape's attention.

---

It wasn't too long before Cera caught up to Ulla, just in time for one of the Drifloon to float around her while making happy balloon noises... whatever those were. It confused her for a second until it finally hit her. "Wait, you're with... guess some of you decided to stay in Galar, huh? This might work out..." Looking around, she tried to get as much of a read in the situation as she could. A bunch of Drifloon could be sent to do... something at any moment, the sunlight was out an impressive amount for the area, and Ulla's Vulpix- wait. An idea presented itself, but before she could comment on it, Ulla had already ordered the Vulpix to attack. But, there were also flames spreading from the odd winds. Maybe this could still work.

Looking to the Drifloon floating around, she'd broadcast what she had in mind. "This'll be reckless, but bear with me here. Each of you, go into the flames. If I remember right, some of you get a bit stronger with a lingering burn... once you're all in formation, pelt that group of bikers and their Pokemon with Weather Ball! We can use the sun to our advantage too! Let's go!"

In a sort of solidarity with them, she'd Transform to match one of the Drifloon and join them in the same positioning and assault.

---

"Was hoping to keep some of these to eat, but..." Amaranth remarked, giving her Rookidee one of the Jaboca Berries in place of the found Energy Root and taking a few in hand. "We're gonna need to provide some interference. Come on!" Both of them took off before long to join the others, with Rookidee flying in to cut off the Primeape after Keiko and Amaranth throwing the berries she had in hand to impact whatever they happened to land on and try catching the bikers or their Pokemon off guard.

---

"I'm not surprised," Aden commented. "Can't say Orre's a ton better on that stuff either, really..." Regions had weird priorities sometimes. He was surprised to see the Psyduck taken out relatively quickly from Wooloo's odd form of assault, but then again, it wasn't like either of them were using battle-hardened Pokemon by any extent. "And hey, thanks. Keep at it yourself, hopefully we'll get to battle again- ...one day..." Unfortunately, Aden didn't have quite enough time to finish what he was saying before the Abra had teleported away with the Venonat hybrid to evacuate him from the tournament. He'd have to remember to take a trip to Kanto sometime after all this. "...well, crap."

Looking around to get a feel for the area again, he noticed that whatever Freth had been dealing with, it wasn't an issue now. And in looking to the den out of curiosity, saw that things were dealt with there too. Noticing Ter's wavelength wasn't hard either, and he could sense quite a bit was going on... he'd move quickly to catch up to him, but tried to keep in the shadows to see if he could get the jump on whoever else was with him. Maybe single them out with the Trainer's Eyes...

[Camp Team]

The blast of Psychic went off, repelling the pair of Primeape but leaving the Koffing to do its thing as Keiko raced to help save the elderly man from the Acid. She was successful in getting him and herself to safety among the ruins, finding a nice section of rubble to hide under. “Thank you, miss.” The monk thanked Keiko, surprised that his opponent was so quick to help him.

As the bright sun shined down Blizzard came up with an explosive plan of action to take care of these cheaters in one swift motion. Calling upon the warm rays of the Sunny Day Blizzard’s little Torchic gave off the biggest Fire Pledge it could muster, though not at the bikers and their Pokemon directly but the field of grass they found themselves in. Thanks to the Sunny Day the ground and grass was particularly dry and quickly the field would begin to catch fire, not fast enough to make the bikers panic, at least not yet. It wasn’t until Beau came swooping in to dust the grass with his Powder did things really get concerning for the bikers. Upon contact with the flames the Powder would ignite and set off several small explosions which in turn cause the brush fire to grow and thus set off even more explosions.

The chain reaction would build up in intensity rapidly as more Snagems joined in with the plot, Ulla’s Vulpix providing more fire while a horde of Drifloon under Cera’s command intentionally burned themselves to trigger their Flare Boost abilities and make their Sunny Day empowered Weather Balls that much more intense. Before they knew it the entire field around the ruins was burning, explosions popping off all over, fireballs and meteors raining down from the sky. It was like a scene from a Michael Bayleef film.

While several of their Pokemon were caught up in the chaos the bikers themselves would flee, doubling up on the still functioning bikes to try and high tail it out of there. Fortunately Aria had predicted their flight and the exact direction they would have to flee in. The fleeing bikers would hit the patch of slippery Acid her baby Toxel had created causing them to slip, slide, and wipeout on their bikes, their frenzied retreat preventing any of them from stopping in time to avoid the oil slick thus resulting in a pile up of thugs and banged up bikes. Any of those who tried not to take that path would be redirected by Amaranth and Rookidee and their barrage of bang grenade berries. If anyone of them still had the strength to get up and run on foot Odd’s Replay would put a stop to that, sapping them of their will to keep going and lulling them to sleep for easy arrest once this was over.

Lykas’ sneak attack wouldn’t go as planned however as the Muk reacted quickly by Swallowing his Water Spot, the physical makeup of the Muk and Sunny Day shining above making it rather easy for it to take in the Water move.

“Oh! So you’re Brian. Yeah, all this could have gone a lot better but I’m glad to see you made it through it all in one piece, like a real Snagem.” Sub responded to Brian, giving him a thumbs up. He then listened to Krysta rattled on and chuckled a little bit, taking the Wishing Star from her and then putting Hans up on his shoulder. “Don’t worry about the professor right now, we’ll take care of that after we show these thugs what happens when you mess with a Snagem.” He said to Krysta before taking his Escape Rope, lassoing it up a part of the tower ruins jutting out from the top. With the rope to direct him he jumped on his Hoverboard and shot up to the top of the tower, right after Sol had gotten knocked down.

“Shoo! Swift, Hans!” He ordered, his Eevee pelting one of the Zubat away with Swift while he himself simply took his Hoverboard and smacked the Zubat away. The Primeape had already given chase after Sol and the Scorbunny which was pelleting them with Ember so he was now up here by himself, a fiendish smile on his face. “Now for the real fun.” Clutching the Wishing Star in hand he approached the edge of the tower and pinpointed the biker leader standing in the center of the burning field, his Muk having Spit Up the Water Spout to soak the area around him to prevent the flames from reaching him.

“Hey! You! Don’t I know you!?” Sub shouted down to him. “Oh yeah! I knew you looked familiar! I’ve seen your face in a certain registry before. Dude, you do know there are kids around here, right? You sure you’re at least five hundred feet from the nearest one?” He said, whether or not his implication was true didn’t matter, he just wanted to anger him.

“You! You’re the one I’ve been looking for!” The biker leader shouted up at Sub, apparently he had some sort of vendetta against the Snagem leader. “I haven’t forgotten how you humiliated my gang back in Kanto!” He continued, his face turning red.

“Sorry dude! You’re going to have to be more specific than that. Me and my team have humiliated a lot of wannabes like you! Do you realize how little you’ve narrowed it down for me!?” Sub shouted back, the glee in his voice unmistakable.

Now more angry and humiliated than ever the biker called the remaining Pokemon to his side. A Primape, an Electrode, a Weezing, a Muk, and his own Nidoking now at his side he pointed out the man at the top of the tower and gave them all a single order. “Hyper Beam! Blast his smug face off there!” He ordered. But Sub had an order as well.

“I may have forgotten you but you’ve clearly forgotten us too so allow me to reintroduce ourselves. We are…” He smiled, the Wishing Star glowing brightly in his hand before he embedded it into the Challenger Band, the Dusk Ball in his other hand also glowing. He would recall Hans into the glowing ball which then took on a massive size yet he was still able to hold it in one hand. With the giant glowing Pokeball in his right hand he held it up high for the biker leader and his Pokemon to see, the group flinching from the sight of it. “Team Snagem.” With that said he lazily underhandedly tossed the giant ball over the edge of the tower. It would fall only a few feet before it popped open and unleashed Hans once more, though the Eevee was much bigger than he was previously.

“Eeveeee!” Hans ‘cooed’, or at least it would sound cute and cuddly if it were normal size but now standing taller than the Watchtower itself the Eevee might still be considered ‘cute’ but it certainly wasn’t cuddly, a churning storm of red energy swirling above its head. The biker leader and the group of Pokemon were too gripped with fear to do anything other than stare in awe.

“Well if you won’t do anything we will. Show them the might of Team Snagem, Hans! Use Max Strike!” Sub ordered. Someone took the time to read up on that information on Dynamaxing they received. Upon command Hans would lift one of his giant paws into the air and them slam it back down on the ground, causing the immediate area around them to shake violently. A fissure of energy would spread across the ground towards the biker and his Pokemon and upon reaching them numerous cracks beneath them would form followed up by a geyers of raw Normal energy shooting up out of the ground beneath them, sending the entire group flying into the air. The resulting surge of energy also sent a sweeping harmless wave of residual energy around the air putting out the flames like a strong gust of wind.

The biker and Pokemon would come back down to Earth with a hard thud, every last Pokemon knocked out (most already weakened prior) and the biker himself unconscious. The Kanto Pokemon Federation was done with.

With them taken care of Hans immediately reverted back to normal size, the Snagem leader coming down from the tower to pick up his Pokemon and observe closer the results of their efforts. Every last biker and Pokemon was either knocked out, frozen, or fast asleep. A job well done. By that time numerous Roto-drones were arriving on scene to bring in various Psychic types to teleport the bikers away, likely to suffer the consequences for their actions. As they were rounded up Sub motioned for the Snagems to join him at the base of the Watchtower Ruins, it was when Blizzard approached did he become particularly smiley.

This is why I wanted to claim this puppy.” He said to Blizzard, patting the side of the tower. “It’s a Power Spot! Meaning as long as you have a whole Wishing Star you can Dynamax your Pokemon here. Granted I expected us to have to hold down the fort a lot longer before we got enough pieces to make a whole star but today fortune favored the bold and Krysta here delivered us exactly what we needed! Now that the other teams know we have the ability to Dynamax I think they’ll think twice before attempting to fight us for the tower.” He was right proud of himself in this moment.

[Hunter Team]

Nincada’s Dig was stopped short by the mole, the burrowing bug then proceeding to wrestle with Simon underground, biting at the interloper with Absorb. As for Palladia the Machop would have a surprise as it struck Shuppet, smacking it away with Thief and a mysterious rock suddenly appeared in her hand. A Wishing Piece! A real one. Apparently they did have one, however hidden in the ethereal form that was Shuppet.

“Eek! No! Give that back now!” The Hex Maniac screamed as her Shuppet attempted to right itself. The ninja still said nothing. “Knock Off, Shuppet! Need that!” She shouted, her ghost flying towards Palladia, preparing a full body tackle as its body gave off an aura of Dark energy.

It was at that moment that Terashi, Abby, or both of them might realize something. Did they really have to entertain this batte anymore? They just stole the piece, what was stopping them from just running off with it? It was then that all of them might notice the towering Eevee in the distance and the spiral clouds of red energy above them. Was that...Hans?

-----

Things were going great for Leon and Kaya. The Play Rough landed perfectly as Kaya caused the martial artist to cripple over in pain and hold his stomach, Kaya now finding a Revive in his hands. His Crabrawler didn’t have a chance to help him out as the Moonblast sent it flying off the ground. As for Lickitung it indeed tried to avoid the kunai but alas the poison was really gripping it, causing it to stumble and fall to the ground, the Ice Beam hitting it directly and freezing its tongue to the ground. The poor Pokemon would struggle to get up but alas it was no good. It would remain like that until the poison had its way with it. Looks like they won this, easily.

“Okay! You guys win!” The chef shouted. “We’ll pack up and just leave, okay?” He pled with them. Their Pokemon weren’t knocked out yet but there was little they could do to fight back so it looked like they would have to resort to negotiating.

Or not.

“Haxor!” Roared a wild Haxorus as it rushed towards Leon and his Vulpix, threatening to mow them down with a Slash of its tusks. Kaya would have time to help Leon out but in that moment his senses were going crazy. This was not the only Haxorus around, there were numerous ones nearby, all angry.

While they didn’t have much time to focus on it the pair of Snagems could hear the sound of a guitar playing. Someone nearby was really rocking out and if Kaya had to guess based off the emotions he was sensing from the wild Pokemon nearby the music was what was driving them to attack the Snagems. This wasn’t good, how could they possibly hope to fight off an island of Haxorus!?

-----

Watching Tristen run off with the Wishing Piece the boy just sighed and turned back to Reno, contemplating his question before finally coming to an answer. "Let's call it a day. Rattata and me are tired after that. Thanks for being so nice though. Maybe we'll bump into each other again tomorrow." He said to Reno, the young lad shaking his hand like a right grown up before marching off with his Rattata. Sweet kid.

-----

As for our other ‘Hunters’ it was getting dark out. Maybe it was time to report back to the others. Perhaps they claimed the tower by now.

Stasy was a bit surprised to find that both Primeape fell to a move she'd never used before, but the Chansey wasn't about to complain. "Now focus on Weezing!" the voice of Stasy's trainer echoed. Stasy looked around for a second to find her trainer, the shook her head at her self and did as she was told, focusing on Weezing and firing a Psychic at it.

"I'm glad you're alright. We might not be on the same team, but you don't deserve to be attacked like that just because some buttholes don't know how to take a loss," Keiko replied to the old monk. That was when the sound of a giant Eevee's cry reverberated off the walls of the tower. Keiko could only smile.

~*~

The second I saw the giant Eevee, I knew Sub must have been involved. Which meant the Camp team must have finished their task. "Simon, surface!" I shouted before turning to focus on Absinthe. "Recall Palladia, we're withdrawing," I explained, quickly pulling my hoverboard out of my dufflebag.

"Retreating? Lame," Abby scoffed as she recalled Palladia and pulling out her hoverboard. Once Abby was ready, I quickly recalled Simon, who had fled Nincanda's reach and surfaced, and the two of us rode off, ignoring the cries of the Hex Maniac.

Once we got to the tower, Abby let Palladia back out and took the Wishing Piece from her, then gave it to me. "Thanks," I replied, pocketing the piece.

"Kick his butt," Abby sneered before going off her own way. I smirked at that, then made my way in.

Things were going swimmingly. Perhaps more than I could have imagined bringing down the hammer upon a bunch of cheaters. Seriously, did these bikers with their overcompensating rides think it was a wise idea to actually pull that bull crap against us? Who did they think we were? I have to admit though, watching Torchic revel his work on his "first official mission" as he seemed to believe it was was kind of cute. However, that endearing sight was soon overtaken, as well as Torchic's apparent joy, by one...gigantic...Eevee. "...what...in the actual hell?"

"Toooooor!?" Torchic exclaimed seeing the towering Eevee look down upon the field at its feet and the Kanto bikers...all but beaten. Rectified by it unleashing its newfound power and blasting the likes of the Kanto bikers. The blast pressure from such a profound attack where I stood wasn't that strong though, I noted. I remembered what Tristen was saying that this Dynamax power wasn't exactly proportional to their newfound size before, which was to say it was weaker, I guess. I'm guessing this is what he meant. Despite that, however, it was well more than enough to lay waste to any remaining hopes of the Kanto bikers standing against us. I could sense that Eevee's power and what it unleashed. Yea, that thing was no doubt putting off quite the presence; a presence which was still rather unnatural to me like the energy I was feeling in the air before now. If I had to gauge it, it was as if someone gave a license for a more consistent use, but lesser power Z-move. That's...still pretty upsetting...

Tristen finally reached to me with his own Eevee on his shoulder, stopping by me, each of their eyes going real wide seeing at the very least the aftermath of what the towering Eevee had done. I looked over. "That was kind of like what you had to deal with down in that den, with that Metapod, didn't you?"

"...uh-huh..." Tristen said, looking back towards me.

".......blast it, I really am getting too old for this." I said facepalming.

"Vuueeee..." Tristen's Eevee then spoke, a bit awestruck at what it just witnessed.

With the battle against the biker's over, I called Torchic back over and decided to take a page out of Tristen and put the tiny chick up on my shoulder then made our way off to Sub, just as Sub's Eevee regressed back to its normal size. Sub had pretty much the largest crap-eating grin he could possibly muster, and listening to him explain the game plan, I gave a deadpan look to the Snagem leader. "...you couldn't have explained that part to us from the starting gun?" I asked him. "Honestly, I would have made the suggestion to actually bum-rush this place before we split up to get pieces. That would have made this little operation of ours all the faster, I'd think."

"Speaking of wishing stars..." Tristen said, taking out the Wishing piece he ended up ultimately having to snatch away. "...this one was really fought over a lot. Freth ended up having Tyrogue to fight a really strong Sandshrew, a couple of hybrids actually had a fight with each other then the winner of that one fought Aden in a regular Pokemon battle, and Reno was trying to make deals with people..." Tristen explained, handing it over to Sub.

"...so...how did you even get that thing?"

"Doing what Freth told me to do. That I had to be pragmatic because its the 'smartest not strongest that wins a free-for-all'." Tristen said.

"...you stole it under everyone's nose."

"It's not like how I wanted it to play out." Tristen said rather sheepishly.

----------------

Freth in the meantime managed to take her Tyrogue aside and let him catch a breather. Despite that Sandshrew supposedly taking on several other opponents before this one, it still provided a hell of a fight to her Tyrogue. She didn't see Tristen any more, which she hoped that just meant mission accomplished on his end and went to go get the piece back to Sub for safe keeping. As much of a good job she knew at least her Tyrogue did, she needed to keep going. There was more to this tournament and more potential pieces to go after. She assumed anyways.

"Alright Tyrogue, feeling better?"

"Rrooogue." Tyrogue stated.

"Alright, let's see what we can get into next." She said. She would then go off on yet another hunt. Same plan as before.

Brian could hear explosions going on all around the tower, and he nodded when Sub said he was glad they made it through in one piece, like a real Snagem. This comment made him smile a bit, as Sub had no idea just what had happened. He watched as Sub went to the top of the tower, where he'd spotted another Snagem get knocked down. "Sounds like Mr. Sub and the biker leader know each other," he commented to Krysta, hearing the shouting match between the two of them.

It wasn't long before a massive red light lit the area up, and Brian was amazed to see what looked like an Eevee's tail from where he was sitting. At least, he thought it was an Eevee's tail, but it was far bigger than what he was accustomed to. When the excitement was over, he joined the rest of the Snagems at the base of the tower, listening to Sub's explanation as to why he wanted the tower ruins.

Lykas and Odd were both rather surprised by the events that unfolded once most of the Snagems had gathered around the tower. The bikers were thoroughly trounced in a matter of what felt like seconds and there was a gigantic Eevee taller than the tower they were trying to claim as their base standing over them. "Um..." Lykas looked at Hans, wondering exactly how he had found himself at the feet of a fifty foot fox capable of spraying destruction across the landscape as well as any Tyranitar. "Hm..." He'd simply purse his lips and consider exactly what was happening here for a moment before Hans returned to normal size.

Odd had managed to get the many Ghost Pokemon to help out but by the time it was all over, he was confused as to whether or not the effort to do so had truly been worth it. Regardless, it seemed they were now the winners of this location and they were fully prepared to defend it further if need be.

~~~
Wren would arrive at the tower about the time Hans shrank back to normal, wondering how the tiny fox had been so large only a few moments before, remembering only after he opened his mouth to ask that they had all been briefed on the Dynamax phenomenon at the beginning of the tournament and proceeded to close his mouth again and hobble to the side of the tower, where he'd lean against it while he continued to recover from the poisoning earlier in the day.
~~~

Kaya would hear the sound of the Haxorus' roar before he saw it, his senses going completely haywire as he picked up first on the roar, then the guitar solo somewhere nearby and finally, the rage boiling over all around them. This was not the only threatening Dragon here and while he was safe from their most devastating attacks, Leon was not. "We should go!" He'd tell the Poison Channeler as he rushed to his side, pulling him from the incoming Haxorus' Slash range. "We're surrounded by Dragon-types on this island and they're all very mad." He'd inform the other male before pulling out his Hoverboard. It couldn't travel very far across water but they only had to make it what looked like 50 feet to reach the nearest shore so maybe it could handle it? "Let's go!" He'd toss the hoverboard onto the ground and pull Leon onto it with him as he kicked it into motion and raced toward that nearby shore. The end goal was the tower he could see in the distance, where a giant Eevee appeared to be having a bit of fun. That Pokemon was giving off some very familiar vibes and since the camp team had gone in search of a base, maybe that was the sign they had succeeded?

Brian could hear explosions going on all around the tower, and he nodded when Sub said he was glad they made it through in one piece, like a real Snagem. This comment made him smile a bit, as Sub had no idea just what had happened. He watched as Sub went to the top of the tower, where he'd spotted another Snagem get knocked down. Krysta would nod in agreement with Brian. "I think your right. These snagems, they seem to be well organized and know what they are doing! and Mr Sub is Soooo cool. I mean, he is totally leadership material. he seems cool in action." Krysta's attention would focus back on the elgyem who wasn't stirring. she was concerned that it maybe had some some serious damage to itself defending them.

Krysta looked up at Sub gigantamaxing his eevee, "Ahh that makes sense. well it seems he knows how to use a wishing piece so that's good. hopefully he will be kind enough to return that piece to the elgeym when its all said and done." For the moment the fear of angering the professor had left krysta, and had been replaced by the excitiment, the exhaustion and the fear for elgyem laying next to her.

Muse was keeping guard but they seemed relatively safe where they were, until sub told them to be ready to move to the base.
