What is a Tribe?
Tribes are most commonly found in the Waylands, but familiars can create them too!

They are a way to create a social circle for players to plot together, and create a community together.

Tribes get a thread in their chosen subform, where they will house their Tribe information. It will act as a homebase for all the Tribe players!

It will look like this [TRIBE] Tribe name (thread)

exclaim You will receive a Tribe placement in the guild, as well as pre-made characters to get the Tribe started!

• We expect you to enter as a group! The Leader will be responsible for the history and rules of your tribe, as will as have ownership of the Tribe!
  
• Tribes do not require upkeep like Packs, they will get their own place in the guild, but they do not get a subfourm!

Your tribe's history: Once separate and simply competing for land space, a rabid berserker stumbled upon their homeland and began decimating the local puma population from young to old without mercy. Terrified for their lives and the lives of their young, the remaining cats banded together to stop the brute from continuing its rampage. While many lives were lost, in the end the berserker was slain.

Agreeing to move to a new territory, Vengeance agreed to remain allies should another threat arrive but still live their daily lives in relative solitude and simply greet each other in passing with a brief nod or uttering their tribe "phrase" of "We are Vengeance." before pausing to give brief updates on tribe status, numbers, any new prodigy and overall safety issues or concerns. This information then gets spread back to the leader who will debate the course of action and if need be, summon Vengeance together with a special roar that they've 'created' as their calling.

Your Tribe's location: In the forest, roaming. ( this is a nomadic tribe)
Your tribe's history: The leader(I haven't settled on a name but #4) was just a cub when she found herself alone in the world. Her mother having lost a fight with a male Bear over food for her. However, she hadn't written off men just yet. Once an adolescent she met a Male puma, at first their courtship seemed typical. They had Cubs and she left the den to find food for them. She returned to find her cubs murdered and her mate gone. She, of course, couldn't think home capable of nursing his own cubs. It wasn't until a run in later with him that he admitted he had done it in anger. She saw red and quickly dispatched of the disgrace of a male. From that day she swore males were nothing but evil and she set off.

Her life was lonely, and she grew to need the company. Slowly she found strong females who shared her distrust/dislike of males and started her tribe.

Your Tribe's location: Swamplands
Your tribe's history:
Driven from their home by war, the Sheathed Claw is a very secluded, noble tribe of felines. They disdain violence and shun killing for anything more than food. Despite bodies well honed for bloodshed, these cats are healers. Some excel in physical mending, while others have the touch that soothes mental unravelings.

They have a complex belief system involving spirits and the Old Gods. Any creature seeking spiritual healing will be met with the tribe's Aer'djha, the one most in tune with the spirits.

The Claw is always led by a female, as they are a tribe rooted in matriarchy. This role can be contested, resulting in a ceremony in which the leader and challenger undergo a test given by the spirits, voiced by the Aer'dhja.

Your Tribe's location: The Waylands Ruins
Your tribe's history: There's a legend that circles through the tribe, passed down through the families from parents to children, grandparents to grandchildren of The Great Puma. In this story an acient leader of this tribe falls in love with a puma who becomes the moon when she dies in childbirth. Upon her death bed she grants the tribe with the gift of reincarnation, that in the time of the solstices she would choose someone of her tribe or family to be reincarnated if they impressed her.

The Great Puma, in his despair, made 9 trials for the pumas of the tribe to complete before they can be chosen to receive his mates gift. With each trial completed it is believed that the pumas life extends, therefore giving them more time to be reincarnated in the grace of her moonlight.

Pumas with white markings are said to be descendants of the Moon and are given special privileges. The leader of the tribe gives up their chance at reincarnation, instead opting to help lead others in achieving their own and choosing those who get the chance. The bulk of the tribe, also known as The Performers, compete against each other to make their names known to the Mother Moon whether is be good or bad: doesn't matter what you do to impress the Mother Moon, you can be chosen for murder or saving the life of a litter of cubs.
